Mission: The howard university medical alumni association maintains high standards of medical education, renders assistance in the development of medicine and programs, and supports the welfare of medical students at howard university college of medicine.
Programs: Alumni speaker series and other programs - --the humaa alumni speaker series invites distinguished alumni of the howard university college of medicine back to talk to current students about their career paths, specialties, networking, and professionalism skills. --membership dues, white coat ceremony, and other activities help advance the association's goals of supporting the welfare and advancement of medical students at the howard university college of medicine.
scholarships - providing additional student support is humaa's number one fundraising priority.
reunion - the howard university medical alumni association's reunion allows alumni to reconnect with classmates. Events for the upcoming 2017 reunion will include the 51st reunion lecture, the alpha omega alpha induction ceremony, the honors and oath ceremony, the all-classes cruise, and the traditional reception and dinner.
