I started out supporting the Hero to Hero program when my (now ex) husband deployed from Ft. Lewis. I later joined on as a volunteer for the program and joined the core team as a volunteer. I held that position until my move to CA made it difficult to participate. This is the best non profit program for troops support that I know of. From home town support to international support this program is there for our troops.(What other program actually drives all over the US and Canada to spread the word about their program?) If its the shirt of the back of a Hero to a deployed Hero, Starbucks Coffee, or even silly glasses for the troops (from Red Robbin) I don't know of any other program that goes as far as Herotohero.US to show its troops how many people support them.
