Causes: Community Mental Health Centers, Mental Health
Mission: To provide the highest quality of psychiatric and mental health services to all persons in the community who are in need of these services.
Programs: During fy 2017 the harford-belair community mental health center provided the highest quality of psychiatric and mental health services to over 700 persons in the community who were in need of these services. These services were affordable and of high quality and included evidence and knowledge based treatment delivered by trained, compassionate clinicians. Services included outpatient psychiatric treatment, psychotherapy, and counseling for the broad range of psychiatric illnesses, psychological disorders, emotional problems and problems in living, as well as mobile treatment services, intensive case management services, psychosocial rehabilitation day treatment services, and supervised residential housing, and case management services for the chronically mentally ill. (continued on schedule o)in addition the center psychosocial rehabilitation day program services, residential rehabilitation program services, and in-home mobile treatment services 192 persons with chronic psychiatric illnesses. In july 2017 the center underwent an extensive survey by the international commission on the accreditation of rehabilitative facilities and again received the highest level three-year accreditation.
