Programs: Contract: the industrial services department is the key resource for goodwill's job training services. Has been assessed and certified in iso 9001:2015 without design quality management system standards and requirements. The quality management system is applicable to the sub-assembly and inspection of manufactured assemblies.
donated goods/retail sales: usable household items and textiles donated to goodwill industries are sorted and processed by both employees and consumers in workforce development training programs for resale in goodwill's five retail stores. Revenue generated from the sale of donated goods supports goodwill's workforce development services which help place consumers in competitive jobs in the community. Over 110,000 individuals donated products to be sold in retail stores.
vocational services: workforce development services help individuals overcome a multitude of barriers to employment. Goodwill empowers them with education, training and job development services assisting them in becoming competitively employed. Goodwill provides one on one case management/mentoring servicing, along with job development and retention services to individuals from wayne and holmes counties, including youth from 14-24, adults and seniors. Goodwill is accredited by carf (committee on accreditation of rehabilitation facilities). In 2017, goodwill helped place 128 people in competitive employment and served over 3,560 individuals during the year with barriers to employment.
