Mission: To promote efforts to train healthcare professionals to provide medical treatment for liver disease in underserved areas of the americas and caribbean region.
Programs: Healthcare education and training - enabling medical staff and volunteers to participate in all levels of the liver transplant process. This includes evaluation of patients on the waiting list, discussion of treatment options and timing, meetings with the patient's family and medical professionals, and transplant surgery.
