Birth In Color not only offers some of the best doulas all over VA but the organization also offers lactation support, child birth education classes, post-partum support and belly binding. Highly recommended!

Birth in color has been a staple in the birthing community for years! It has given access to so many resources and doulas to individuals who may can’t afford traditional doula care. They have also fought so hard for maternal rights and justice! I absolutely love the work birth in color does
Amazing organization!!! Very involved in the community and providing fantastic serves to individuals!!! They are always providing education, resources and the doulas are sooooo fabulous!!!!! Individuals feel so loved, safe and supported!!!
They made the process in getting matched with a doula easy from beginning to end. My doula LaToya was amazing! They also offer a variety of events and activities for moms and dads to participate in. I wouldn’t look any other place for doula care other than at Birth in Color.
I gave the nonprofit a 5 star because I was able to receive free services through birth in color which was exciting for me since I was becoming a first time mom. They also provided a lot of classes which I wish I would have attended since my doula was not that knowledgeable through the process but overall it was a learning experience. I just wish I had a different doula that was more knowledgeable. Since I assigned a new doula, she still was trying to figure things out which was understandable. Being a first time mom it was frustrating because having questions and concerns that weren’t really answered, it made it difficult to even ask my doula for help. In the end, she was sweet and tried her best. Thank you!
Love everything about Birth in Color. Went to an event they hosted for pregnant moms and they had each mom a bag of goodies for their new baby. I really appreciate everything they have done for me whether it was giving me items towards my babies or just knowledge and information to help this pregnancy go as smooth as it could. Chelsi Watson is my doula and I highly recommend her with hesitation
