Mission: Friends of the south african constitutional court (usa), inc. Is a new york not-for-profit corporation whose purpose is to support the south african constitutional court, as well as other courts in africa, through the performance of activities to promote education, the expansion of the rule of the law and constitutional law, and human rights. Subsequent to march 31, 2012, the board of directors agreed in principle to reduce significantly the activities of fosacc. Under this proposed plan, fosacc would distribute substantially all of its assets (cash and cash equivalents) to the constitutional court trust in south africa. Fosacc maintains a small amount of operating funds and plans to continue as a going concern.
