Mission: Our focus is the restoration of dignity and life purpose in those affected by sex trafficking by training them in the discipline of hairstyling. Our mission is to walk along side these individuals as a community, and to ensure that they are successful in building the skills necessary to live their lives with purpose and freedom.
Programs: Freeroots has international salon and beauty school partners that train young girls who are rescued from sex trafficking. Freeroots role is to carry out advanced training in hairstyling and business building techniques. We also work with outreach centers in the same communities. Salon services for children of local sex workers and outreach to sex workers are offered.
our houston, tx work is centered on girls who are rescued from sex trafficking and extremely abusive situations. We currently partner with freedom place, a non-profit organization that houses underage rescued girls. Freeroots role is to lead girls through an intentional curriculum based on inspirational sessions with an emphasis on mentoring and personal development.
