I met everyone there when they took in two abused cane corso dogs. They were never socialized and very abused. They had a sign up for people to try and read to them to help them with their fear. I went every day twice a day for a year and half to work with them. The whole staff was so good to Hera and Demeter. They not only gave them all the space they needed they spent time with them and gave them lots of medical attention. The girls blossomed. Unfortunately we lost Hera even though they did everything they could to save her. I now have Demeter in my home as one of our family. She is the true meaning of what this shelter does. She is so happy and you would never know she never lived in a home. I have never been more proud to volunteer with a group of people than brazoria spca. Every single person there gives more than 100 percent every day.
The Brazoria County SPCA is amazing! The employees truly care about every animal and will do their best to help every animal in need. I have been a foster for about 2 years now and they are always helpful and answer any questions I have. I have adopted 2 of my own dogs from them and the process has always been easy.
