Paw-Some Critters is a very first-rate and valuable rescue. First of all it serves a very needy area... A big county with not a whole lot of resources to help animals. Secondly, Brooke Is not only an animal advocate, but she loves people too, and does a great job of gently but effectively dealing with all sorts of situations that come up. She is very fast at responding to a question or a request, and gives very good advice! She has a very good reputation with not only neighbors but with law enforcement and area shelters. I appreciate all the help she has given me and the community. She is a big asset to our area!
Just over a year ago my beloved chihuahua became suddenly ill and passed unexpectedly. Just a few weeks later Pawsome Small Critters rescued a sad but adorably cute little chihuahua from a shelter. The 1st photos were heartbreaking as she was completely hairless due to mange and ringworms. While I was still grieving for my dog, I continued to follow and inquire about little Pinkie as she was named. So very grateful that Brooke is such a kind hearted animal lover that she rescued this little one and had her treated and healthy. In January 2019, when I was emotionally in a place to care for another dog I adopted Pinkie. She is my near constant companion and I do not know what I'd do without her. Pawsome Small Critters is awesome to work with to adopt, and I highly recommend them!
I can’t say enough about Brooke and her volunteers. They do incredible work with rescues. She treats them and finds great homes for them.
Working with Paw-Some Small Critters Rescue Inc has been a great experience. The director is very responsive to questions, and willing to provide information to guide a pet owner. I placed a beautiful dog with someone and Paw-Some was the rescue used, to ensure the proper care will be taken care of this pet, and if not, then Paw-Some is willing to take the necessary steps to get that job done.
Want to know the steps that will be taken, don't hesitate to ask. Want to know how the rescue can help you, DEFINITELY ask! Any questions at all, please ask, that's why the rescues exist, is to help.
