Mission: The museum creates meaningful opportunities for people of all ages to learn, reflect and have fun through hands-on and collections-based explorations in science and culture.
Programs: Fort collins museum of discovery welcomed over 126,000 general admission visitors during 2017. The museum offers a wide variety of cultural and science related programs to supplement the richness of the exhibit gallery floor, and to provide fulfilling experiences that allow visitors of all ages to engage informally at deeper levels of learning through discovery and reflection. In 2017, these programs directly served general admission visitors, school field trip groups, and individual participants in preregistered programs.
