Mission: Floating museum is a collaborative arts organization that creates temporary, site-responsive museum spaces to activate sites of cultural potential
Programs: Floating museum successfully completed 3 projects this year. Floating museum held an interactive arts exhibition at the dusable museum of african america history february through july of 2017. In summer of 2017, floating museum's river assembly project transformed an industrial barge into a mobile gallery that that transported artwork and free public programs from southeast chicago, to bridgeport, the chicago riverwalk, and navy pier. Over 50 artists and 12 organizations participated in the river assembly project, which reached an estimated total of over 100,000 viewers. In fall of 2017, floating museum also participated in palais de tokyo's group exhibition singing stones
