Mission: To engage in activities related to promoting latin heritage and to assist the community at large by informing them of government assistance programs, latin culture and pride, solutions to concerns of the community through attempting to help local, state, and federal lawmakers establish relevant programs, promote youth sports, and assist sister city in mexico with emergency relief supplies, equipment, and materials.
Programs: At the beginning of this year 2016, we started working hard for our people, which we present in a brief below: -ime fellowship, where our federation has benefited with scholarships by the institute of mexicans abroad (ime) to provide to our students, in order to contribute to raising educational levels within the mexican and mexican-origin population living in the united states. -we hosted 3x1 training programs to continually keep our community informed. -group ibiza provides health services to our community and zacatecas people in general. -participation in the parade of independence, promoting our traditions. -consulate on wheels to fczsc, where they could provide consular support, health and bank rate. -support for senior students to perform their professional service in the u. S. , thereby knowing how our organization works. -our monthly newsletter has been strengthened; elaborating in a better way, more quality and more specialized. -integration folkrico fczsc ballet, which with much effort has stood, having successful participation. -promotion of degree in tourism from the uaz between the clubs that make up our zacatecan federation of southern california.
