Mission: The mission of the down syndrome aim high resource center, inc. (dsahrc) is to provide parent-to-parent and professional services and support to individuals with down syndrome and their families and to educate the broader community on down syndrome. The services and support are provided to promote individuals with down syndrome to reach their fullest potential and to become fully included members of their communities.
Programs: Dsahrc will provided services that promote the medical, development, behavioral, and psychiatric welfare of individuals with down syndrome by hiring and making available to its target population, at no charge, a medical coordinator and an educational coordinator who will work with individuals and their families in pursuit of socialization, employment and independent living opportunities by utilizing and coordinating efforts of dsahrc with other agencies and organizations in northeastern new york state.
