Mission: Quality education.
Programs: The cushman school, inc. , ("the school") is an educational institution that, for the past 93 years, has provided exceptional programming to mainstream and special needs children in nursery through eighth grade. This year, the school expanded into the high school years (9th and 10th) and now provides a relevant, but philosophically based program in which students develop a strong sense of character within a developmentally-appropriate, rigorous program. With full enrollment at 535 in the nursery through middle school years, and a growing enrollment of 31 in the high school, cushman is continuously strengthening in its reputation within the community, and in general, its ability to provide a personalized learning environment while ensuring its operations are managed in responsible, fiduciary manner. The school has a magnitude of ways in which it serves the surrounding community, as it is mission-driven in developing students who are leaders that have a positive impact and approach to life. Multiple partnerships exist that contribute to aiding others. Whether it was in cleaning up the debris for our surrounding neighbors from the aftermath of hurricane irma in partnership with fema, providing financial support to the palm grove district or the little haiti community center to ensure great programming is provided to its residents, or providing food to the residents at the camilus and the ronald mcdonald house, the school continues to be committed to benefiting the lives of others.
