Mission: The mission of comprehensive community based solutions, incorporated is to provide high-quality services to enable community members to be self-sufficient and thus reduce dependency on public assistance.
Programs: Comprehensive community based solutions, incorporated is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to provide proactive and holistic programs and services to prepare community members to be self-sufficient with the ability to reach their full potential. Comprehensive community based solutions, incorporated is doing business as the emerging leaders mentorship program for black male youth to prepare black male youth to be leaders in their homes, schools, communities, and future professions. We provide services for black male youth ages 10-18 years old from cabarrus, gaston, mecklenburg, and york counties. Examples of services we provide include seminars, workshops, field trips, community service projects, and the specialty programs below:1. Careers in teaching exploration program2. Exceeding expectations! Tutoring program3. Lawn care services for senior citizens program4. Man up! Gang prevention program5. Junior academic success program6. Future focus! High school dropout prevention program as a result of the services we provide as well as the reliable mentorship components, the members of the elmp are doing well in school, exhibiting excellent manners at homes, and demonstrating positive behavior in the community. None of our members have dropped out of high school since the elmp was implemented and our goal is to maintain the positive momentum. We rely on grant funding, fundraising activities, and individual donations for sustainability. We provide quarterly success evaluation reports to our financial sponsors.
