I've been here a number of years. Keystone has improved the quality of life for individuals and families by educating, treating, and providing support for those impacted by substance abuse. So many lives have been impacted by the treatment and the caring hearts of those that work here at Keystone.
Keystone has a very special place in my heart. I'm honored that today i can help others in their journey with addiction and recovery. Addiction does not discriminate. I am a nurse now at Keystone and celebrated five years clean in May this year. A little over five years ago, in May 2019, I walked into Keystone seeking help for an Opiate Use Disorder. I received that help and so much more in the wonderful staff and counselors that helped guide me. I am so grateful for Keystone and all the amazing people who helped me! Today, I get to share my experience, strength, and hope with my patients at Keystone.
The staff care deeply about their patients. As a newer employee, I see first-hand how staff remember patients from years ago and make meaningful connections with current patients. I was a former patient at Keystone, then a volunteer, and now an employee. Keystone does their best to accommodate each patient and to care for them individually. I rank Keystone 5 stars because of the lasting impact they have made on my life and the lives of so many others.
I have personally witnessed how this organization effects the community and how they have expanded their services to be more effective.
This nonprofit gives a great contribution to the york county community. They help many people who need it and are recovering from substance abuse. They also educated the public on substance use. Very professional and trustworthy establishment.
The staff at Keystone are compassionate about the services rendered. If you are willing to change and work a recovery program Keystone is the place to fine what you need.
The ravage to our community caused by the abuse of drugs and alcohol is real and is in crisis mode. Keystone is one of the few on the front lines doing something about it. The incredibly dedicated, passionate and skilled staff are performing spectacularly in trying and sometimes heartbreaking circumstances. Their efforts are nothing short of heroic.
I started services here at Keystone in 2005. I was in the IOP Program. They introduced me to AA and NA. I successfully completed the program and continued to go to my NA meetings. As a result, I have 17 years, 2 months and 7 days clean and sober. If it had not been for Keystone, I would be in prison or dead. Keystone has saved my life. I am now employed with Keystone as a PAIRS Case Manager, a Certified Peer Support Specialist, and a Certified Substance Abuse Specialist. I am helping other women and men who struggle with the disease of addiction by sharing my strength, hope and experience.
Keystone is amazing! The staff are great! The events are great! They are doing awesome work in our community!
Keystone is a great organization that helps people in need through their various services! They are an integral part of our community and I am glad to partner with them!
Review from Guidestar
This organization and its staff due a great job of assisting those in our community who struggle with substance abuse issues.
The York County Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse, Inc., aka Keystone York County, has been very successful applying for and being awarded competitive grants that have allowed them to strategically add needed services to adjust to changing times and decreased state-funding conditions here in north central South Carolina. Community support and collaboration under past and current leadership has been outstanding. As a local primary care and public health physician, I have great confidence in Keystone York County's team of direct care providers. I also highly value the partnership support that Keystone York County has provided to the Tobacco Free York County Coalition, which I chair. We are all on the same page in addressing the challenge of tobacco product use (nicotine addiction) in clients suffering with alcohol use disorder and possibly also a dual mental health diagnosis. We are close to achieving a 100% tobacco-free campus policy at all of Keystone York County's facilities. It is certainly clear to me then, for these and a number of other good reasons too numerous to list here, that Keystone York County deserves a five-star rating.
As a pharmacist, I am happy with the services that Keystone provides to educate and treat those in our community who are struggling with addiction.
Keystone Substance Use Services is the top service agency for treating substance use disorders in York County and surrounding. Their team of experts not only provide top-quality care but love their jobs to be able to health clients and renew their lives.
Keystone has a great impact on the community. I don't know what we would do without this organization!
