Mission: CDCA is the voice and arm of Arizona's affordable, transitional, and emergency housing and community development nonprofit industry. CDCA's mission is to achieve community development in Arizona through adequate, safe, decent, fair and affordable housing, and a continuum of support services. Our members provide all the programs and services necessary to transform the lives of homeless people into those of stable homeowners living in viable, safe, and improving neighborhoods. CDCA carries out our mission through (1) leadership; (2) education; (3) policy analysis and development; (4) capacity building, resource and professional development; and (5) cooperative and collaborative networking and support services. Through CDCA's programs numerous organizations have joined forces to improve their programs or to collaborate on projects beyond the capacity of a single organization.
