Mission: Columbia Dance was founded in 1989 and is dedicated to the goals of bringing quality dance to the greater Vancouver area, providing community service and outreach, educating the general public about dance as an art form, and providing a diversity of performing experiences for aspiring young dancers. One of our core values is our commitment to providing children with meaningful first experience with physical activity and the arts. We strongly believe that this connection not only aids physical coordination skills, but also enhances academic learning. Columbia Dance offeres scholarships to dedicated students without the ability to pay for lessons.
