I woke up to a message from this gentleman asking me if I needed help with a food box for the holidays I said yes sir he asked me for some information I gave it to him next thing you know funds were loaded into my account, now I can have a holiday with my son for Thanksgiving it was a blessing to wake up and have a message from this gentleman with his foundation i highly recommend contacting them if you're needing help

Our organization has grown significantly. We will hopefully be moving into a bigger building by the end of this year, 2025. We hand give out sack breakfast & lunch sacks Mon-Fri from 9 am - 3:50 pm to any Veteran that would like one. The recent shift in upper management, particularly with the new Deputy Director, has created a toxic environment where employee well-being is not prioritized. As a result, many dedicated staff members, including myself, have left due to poor treatment and lack of support.<br><br>The workplace culture has become one of fear, and unfortunately, the Executive Director has not taken adequate steps to protect or support the employees who contribute to the success of Share. The focus seems to be on the financial well-being of management rather than the well-being of the team and clients. This neglect has led to a significant loss of case management staff, a direct consequence of the actions and attitude of the Deputy Director.<br><br>Personally, I found myself experiencing severe stress and panic attacks every time I arrived at the workplace, ultimately leading to my decision to leave. The current situation cannot continue if the organization hopes to retain talent and provide a supportive work environment.<br><br>I strongly urge the Executive Director to reassess the leadership under the Deputy Director and take the necessary steps to create a healthier, more supportive environment for both employees and clients. The organization must prioritize the well-being of its staff to prevent further turnover and to foster a culture of respect and mutual support.<br><br>

Bridge the Gap is 100% run by volunteers and serves as a voice to the voiceless, for our foster children in Southwest Washington. Our mission is a constant inspiration to so many, and BTG serves to mend the inequalities many children in foster care face, giving them a sense of stability so that they can go on and achieve what their peers achieve.

I can't say enough GREAT things about Michelle Bart and NWCAVE. My daughter had been missing, we feared sex trafficking was involved, and Michelle sprang into action and was relentless until we received answers. <br>This organization works tirelessly to help families navigate a foreign world. They have the connections, reputation and "dog with a bone" attitude to get things done. <br>Michelle did for our family, in 2 weeks, what would have taken us a year, if ever, to do on our own and I will be eternally grateful!

What an amazing organization. Their commitment to enhance the quality of life in Clark County through the support of parks, trails, and recreational programs. It's a great place to live and work because it has access to parks, among many other things. Without these parks, our children would not be able to make the friendships they have and play on incredible play structures. <br>The community benefits greatly from the many activities this foundation organizes each year, which also serve to unite the community in support of those in need and ensure that our children have a secure environment in which to play and develop. <br>

This nonprofit helps local children experience the magic of the holidays by providing holiday meals and gifts to low income, working families. What is truly wonderful about this organization is that they help the children of people who are employed and trying to help themselves. Amazing organization.

I have a 16 year old Congo African Grey that I rescued 16 years ago when she was 3 months old. This little girl has been my everything since that day. I decided that I needed to find somewhere for her to go if and when I die so I did a lot of research and found Chris at Parrots for Patriots. I fell in love with him and his rescue. He is an amazing man who truly does love what he does and the parrots in his care. I went to a lawyer a month or so later and had my will done and made sure that Mishka my beloved bird goes to his rescue. I know that she will be loved, well cared for and that he will make SURE she gets a home that she deserves. Thank you Chris and Parrots for Patriots for putting my mind at ease knowing that Mishka will be well taken care of when I can’t be here.

What a brilliant platform GSGC creates for young boys and girls in the local community. By creating safe spaces to express and build themselves, boys and girls can grow into anything they aspire to be. Every day, mentors help them realize their potential and strength from within. They are breaking barriers and conquering all odds by changing the typical narrative and becoming the greatest version of themselves they can be. They are heard, seen, and believed!!

my name is Tawnya , I am a women in long term recovery. I was managing with Papa murphy's and have a long job history with the company, But I was looking to work in a field that I could support and mentor people fighting the life style of drugs and incarceration just like I was. I had applied and interview at another agency a couple other times before I came in contact with Jahnea and her Husband. Today i have been case managing and mentoring people for ten month. Restored and Revived has given me more purpose in my life and the ability to be present in my families lives...

I'm writing because my cat needs help she is suffering with skin proublems. I'm desperately reaching out for help to get her into a vet. I have no money to help her. I kid you not my cat brought home an injured squirrel a year ago. It had neurological issues from falling it seemed. I spent time trying to see if she would come out of it and she didn't. I found this rescue to my surprise not far away in the Orchards area. The folks there had so much knowledge I learned a lot. Unfortunately it is run out of their home and they could use more space and some TLC, but the love is there. Thank you for helping the little guys!

We choose to support Forward edge in every way possible. Through one time donations at their annual fundraiser to monthly contributions to their child sponsorship programs. We even support their affiliate fundraising efforts like SAHSAC (Sell a Home Save a Child). The reason we choose so support FEI through all of these various avenues is because giving to FEI has a direct impact on children's lives. Unlike other organizations, the money you give goes directly to the children or specific life improvement projects. You can even help put your money to work by being a part of a mission trip. Wonderful organization serving a wonderful need.

I have had many experiences with this nonprofit and so very impressed with the work Dorothy does. I would love to see this work expand and ask others to check out and help the ministry.

FiSH of Orchards may not be the best funded or the most spacious or have the latest and greatest in clothes (which they lack space for) or even have the freshest food, but they aren't a store and they're the only agency with a staff completely composed of volunteers so that every penny they get can be used to help the clients in need. Some people might feel entitled to getting the very best without having to spend a cent, but the majority of their clients seem to really appreciate the time and effort they put forward to accommodate their needs and are understanding that FiSH is not a grocery store, but an emergency food pantry. <br> <br>I hope that everyone who goes here feels as respected as I do when they go to FiSH. If you're looking for wrinkle-free new clothes, this is not the charity you're looking for. If you're looking for the freshest food that perfectly adheres to your grocery list, this is not the charity you're looking for. <br> <br>But if you're hungry or homeless and need a bit of food to get by while being treated with kindness and respect, I've seen no better charity than FiSH of Orchards.

They are a wonderful volunteer organization who helped me adopt my dog Marvel. The process did take a couple of weeks and the application process was a long one, but once I receive him I could not have been happier!

The Information is completely outdated. When I offered to help get new information, and join to help spread awareness, and help fundraise, the response I received was shocking. I will be creating a IH foundation that is up to date and ACTUALLY HELPS PATIENTS! <br>Please do not waist your time or money on a group that should have been completely dismantled YEARS ago!

This organization has gone above and beyond for myself and others that I know. They provide resources and information to help someone connect with counseling and mental health support. They have a Christ focused heart and deep desire to support the local church community. Specifically in the areas of mental wellness and prevention, intervention and restoration. I am very thankful for this Non Profit and their willingness to come along side of me during this season. Thank you.

In a society that seems to avoid face to face conflict and go straight to court which causes many heartaches and puts a dent in people's wallet, I fully support and advocate for people to utilize Community Mediation Services as a healthier, intrinsic valued, emotional supportive and economical way to problem solve conflicts. They have certified mediators available for a wide range of services to assist people of Clark County. Also CMS provides very good fundamental training in mediation for personal and professional development.

Mountain Peaks and Rojo helped my little girl feel fierce and strong and powerful on her second birthday. <br>Visiting their farm, we got to experience inclusion at its finest, where people of all abilities were equals. The whole team embody love and kindness and seek to make others’ lives better in a way that is profoundly generous. They are changing the world, one llama kiss at a time.

What an incredible orchestra! I attended the opening concert last week and the violinist was incredible and the Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of Leonard Bernstein was breathtaking. The VSO is beginning their 40th season, what a legacy they leave our community.

I sit here writing this 13 years later. It's crazy to think that in 2005 I went down to Haiti to help out this non-profit. Thirteen years later that experience is still making an impact on me. The year before I visited Haiti I had gone to Guatemala - my first real third-world experience. But nothing could prepare me for Haiti. There was the third-world and there is Haiti. <br><br>I really took for granted access to clean water in the states. I didn't really understand how big an issue it was in Haiti and how it affected everyone, especially the mortality rate of children. It is huge! Watching families fill up water from garbage filled streams just broke my heart. <br>While I was in Haiti for a week I helped build these great bio-sand water filters and deliver them. Chris Rolling runs Clean Water for Haiti (now with his wife Leslie), educated our group on the issues Haiti faced and how CWFH was helping out. His group was realistic with us about our time in the country and what we would see was always looking out for our safety. <br><br>The biggest impact, however, the country had on me was the people itself. I was in awe of how grateful people can be who have next to nothing. A family living in a one-room dirt hut invited my group in for food. Children at an orphanage we visited were so joyous amidst everything going on around them. It was one thing after another.<br><br>I have yet to go back to Haiti but I still keep in contact with a couple people from there. My heart longs to go back and visit again but life gets in the way. I think about my experiences there with CWFH and the people quite a bit still 13 years later and I would love to go back and help them out again if given the chance. <br>-Jefferson

The Free Clinic of SW Washington is an impressive collaborator. We network with the Vancouver Public Schools and Share House (shelters for the homeless) to bring much needed medical care to our neighbors in need. This synergism is responsible for adding to the quality of health and life in our community. We have a terrific leader in Executive Director Barbe West who has put together a team of caring and motivated employees and volunteers. Our vision, to provide compassionate care always, is the reason why we have a motivated team, sponsors and donors.
