Programs: The asthma team (at) partnered with the environmental protection agency (epa), parent teacher association (pta) and asthma and allergy network, mother's asthmatics (aanma) on a national campaign, surrounding a video that featured the at founder, to encourage parents and kids to tackle asthma. The campaign and video served to encourage parents and kids to have a clear asthma action plan (aap) prior to going back to school and make sure that their aap is shared with their school nurse. The national campaign supported the at mission to empower parents and kids to "have a plan" for their individual asthma management.

The local grassroots program allowed the at to share our tips for tackling asthma and also share relevant stories submitted on our at webside.
