I was in dire need for any resources to help me pay my utility bill. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and struggling financially. I don't have any family support during this most difficult time of my life. I didn't know where to turn. I found- I will Survive Inc - through a referral and by the miracle of God. They helped me pay my electric bill of $383 for two months past due. They said they had to use fundraising money to help me pay my bill. I cried when I heard that because they really cared enough to help me. They were my angel when I needed them the most. Thank You!!! I will survive Inc. God Bless you and the entire Team. I will never forget this ever.
I Will Survive, Inc. (IWS) embodies the transformative power of community support and advocacy, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to the holistic well-being and empowerment of breast cancer survivors. Their dedication is both commendable and inspiring, making IWS a vital organization for anyone seeking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by breast cancer.
My first transformative experience with IWS was attending "A Rosé Affair," a celebration of survivors hosted at the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs in Atlanta, Georgia. As the keynote speaker, I had the privilege of engaging with breast cancer survivors—referred to as "Survivors"—whose resilience and determination were truly inspiring.
Two Survivors shared their journeys from diagnosis to recovery, highlighting how IWS provided crucial economic support during their battles with breast cancer. Their stories of overcoming adversity and emerging as authors and entrepreneurs underscored the profound impact of IWS's mission.
Witnessing the tangible outcomes of IWS's support moved me deeply, compelling me to become a donor. Since contributing, I've observed firsthand the organization's unwavering commitment to empowering individuals affected by breast cancer. IWS not only offers financial assistance but also fosters personal growth, enabling Survivors to pursue their dreams and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
From appearances on platforms like the Kelly Clarkson Show to strategic discussions in boardrooms, and from providing support in hospitals to visiting survivors' homes, IWS is a formidable leader in the fight against breast cancer. They practice what they preach and employ creative strategies to fulfill their mission of providing economic support, prevention education, and health and wellness services to those at higher risk and affected by breast cancer.
I wholeheartedly recommend supporting IWS to anyone seeking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by breast cancer.
Godspeed.
The team at IWS leads with powerful compassion and vision. I would recommend their well-rounded approach to anyone seeking assistance and support as they battle their way through a breast cancer diagnosis.
I will survive helps women battling breast cancer. They bring so much encouragement and help for us going through the journey.
Impressed with the services provided by I Will Survive. The empathy and care provided by the staff was welcomed by my family. Resources were suggested and provided to us. They were very helpful. I highly recommend the work they are doing!
They have done so much in the community there ase not enough characters to even explain. Keep going!!!
I will Survive is an Outstanding Organization that provides much needed resources to Families at the Grass Root Level affected by a traumatic disease. Our Family has been in full support of this Organization for the past Ten (10) plus years.

I happened upon the I Will Survive (IWS) office about ten years ago when visiting an adjacent business. The name, and the universal pink ribbon, really caught my attention and resonated within me. I walked inside the IWS office, I felt a peaceful energy that caused me to relax. I was greeted with warmth by a young woman who introduced herself as Ms. Palmer. From that day forward, second only to my faith, IWS was like a life-line. The main reason I say this is not because of tangible help. It is because I had a place where I felt supported and accepted in a very personal way. There was somewhere that encouraged survival and focused on living…not on the diagnosis and dying. I wish this organization could establish offices throughout the US and then global expansion.

I discovered I Will Survive in 2016 while en route to a nearby business. I went in and was greeted by Ms Palmer who was kind and attentive as she listened to my diagnosis and journey. In addition to the plethora of services she described, she was interested in how the organization could specifically help me. The education, events, help with gas, rent, etc. are great and much needed. However, the greatest service, in my opinion is the fact that the organization is there to support how best needed. It is easy to see that they stand behind the name "I Will Survive." Even if, at times, you just need to share your plight. It's what they do...help us survive.
I Will Survive Inc. (IWSI) has been a powerhouse of impact for over a decade. Led by the human-centered vision of its founder Anisa Palmer, IWSI not only grants dignity and empathy based support to the sufferer, they also lend aid and comprehensive resources to their impacted family members. That heartfelt care for both patient and village allows for greater overall resilience during treatment and a stronger recovery.
This nonprofit organization is doing an incredible job in supporting individuals with breast cancer. Their focus and determination towards their cause is truly admirable and I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking assistance.
I Will Survive was a huge help to me last year when I went out for medical leave. They brought my children school supplies and gift cards to help my family and I. Without their organization, I don’t know if I would have had the things I had.
I am a breast cancer survivor. I have undergone chemo, radiation and multiple surgeries. It has been a great struggle financially since my diagnosis. I will forever be grateful for the assistance that I've received from I Will Survive. They have been there for me on more than one occasion. I don't know what I would have done without their assistance. This is an amazing organization that really cares. Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart.

I had surgery related to breast cancer in August, 2022 and was unable to work for a few months. A friend of mine referred me to I Will Survive for assistance. They went above and beyond in assisting with my rent, utilities, transportation expenses and food. I even received a surprise care package. I was really not expecting this much help but I am ever so grateful. I don't know what I would have done without I Will Survive's assistance.
My involvement at I Will Survive has been a great experience, and I have learned so much about the effort that goes into supporting their programs. The dedication of the members in immeasurable.
My sister was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2020. Watching her go through this from a far made me want to join with others to help bring comfort to those that are impacted.
After volunteering for many years, I joined the Board. This nonprofit is very dear to my heart as I see women everyday in my Bra business who have been grief stricken and sick from Breast Cancer . I will survive is one of the most generous , caring, resourceful charities I have ever served with and I know exactly where the funds go. I am honored to serve alongside Anissa as her heart and compassion for the community is unmatched . ❤️
I currently serve as a volunteer for I Will Survive Inc. and I've had nothing short of an amazing experience. Anisa and the team are so passionate about the cause and everything is done with intention.
I Will Survive Inc. is an organization that supports survivors of breast cancer in various ways. Fundraising events and donations provide help with bills and feeding the families of survivors. I became involved with IWS to gain volunteer hours. After completing those hours, I stayed on as a volunteer for a few years, until my schedule changed and I could no longer commit to projects and events. I participated in the annual fashion show, networking events, health fairs, community events, meetings, and brainstorming. Some of my best memories are when the organization was able to meet the goal of paying bills for multiple families at a time, seeing the smiles on their faces when they received food, school, or holiday gift donations, connecting a mother to realtors who helped her secure a new home, and connecting mothers who lost their jobs due to treatment demands to new employment. The founder of I Will Survive Inc. truly cares about her community and helping survivors of breast cancer to regain their stability. This is a cause near and dear to her heart and it shows. She is passionate and motivated to grow the organization, so that more survivors can become and remain stable after undergoing cancer treatments. I had a wonderful experience as a volunteer and look forward to watching I Will Survive Inc. continue to help men and women through the tough transition cancer treatment and therapy can present.
The impact of "I Will Survive" reaches far beyond financial relief. It instills hope, reminding those in the throes of adversity that they are not alone in their struggle. The organization's initiatives to raise awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection contribute to a healthier and more informed society. By extending their support beyond the immediate needs of patients, "I Will Survive" demonstrates a profound dedication to creating a brighter future for everyone affected by this disease.
"I Will Survive" is a beacon of light that embodies compassion, empowerment, and resilience. Their tireless efforts to provide financial assistance and emotional support to individuals battling breast cancer exemplify the very best of humanity. I am deeply moved by their commitment to making a lasting impact on the lives of those who need it most. "I Will Survive" has not only earned my admiration but also my support as they continue to inspire hope, ignite change, and prove that together, we can overcome any obstacle.
I Will Survive and Anisa Palmer’s team recently organized an event that brought together major stakeholders in mental health, breast cancer awareness and support and community development, including activists, artists and Andre Dickens, the Mayor of Atlanta. I’m an attorney that represents non profits and policy makers. The impact of I Will Survive cannot be understated. This team is at the forefront of providing meaningful non governmental support for families facing cancer treatment and recovery and facilitating wrap around services for the ecosystem surrounding their target community.
I have had the distinct pleasure of being able to volunteer with these incredible folks for over a year. Although it has been a relatively short time, I have been welcomed with open arms and have been able to experience so much good. At this nonprofit, you will feel deeply involved, appreciated and part of an incredible team fighting for an amazing cause. You will be fighting breast cancer by providing aid and prevention awareness about this horrible disease that has unfortunately effected nearly every one’s life in some fraction of a way. The founder, Anisa Palmer, has built an amazing organization, attended every event, created and built up a fantastic group of people and still finds the time to make herself available to answer texts! The organization is an inspiration and I can confidently say that I have grown from my experiences and have been floored by the impact we have had on other’s lives. Needless to say, I cannot recommend this organization enough and highly encourage any one to reach out to help if they feel the desire, you will not be disappointed!
With this organization, the level of care and compassion is so incredibly palpable. Everyone there is clearly dedicated to the work and to helping in whatever way they possibly can.
As a volunteer at I Will Survive, Inc., I have been fortunate to witness firsthand the incredible impact this organization has on the lives of breast cancer patients. Their dedication to providing tailored programs and services that address the diverse needs of breast cancer patients, survivors, and their families is truly remarkable. From educational resources to emotional support and financial assistance, I Will Survive, Inc. goes above and beyond to ensure that no one faces breast cancer alone. It's truly inspiring to see their positive impact on so many lives, and I'm honored to be a part of this organization.
In 2015 I was diagnosed with stage 3b breast cancer. I had no choice but to quit work due to the aggressive treatment plan of chemo and radiation. A race against the clock to kill out the cancer before spreading into my body. I will survive provided food I would not have been able to purchase. I will survive also sent me on a cancer retreat to Tybe island in Ga. Where I learned relaxation skills, yoga and healthy food habits. I refer every cancer patients I met to them, cause I know they genuinely care about the success of my treatments and the extraction of a healthy long life afterwards. Thank you I Will Survive. Because of all you've done for me, I AM A CANCER SERVIVOR!!
I was an intern for I Will Survive Inc. in 2022 and had a great experience. I found the people to be welcoming and caring about the cause of breast cancer. The organization really cares about its clients and does their best to help them in various ways. I Will Survive Inc. stood out to me as a fantastic non-profit organization that I will remember.
So grateful for I Will Survive after my breast cancer diagnosis. Having a network really helped me through this difficult time.

I want to start by saying Thank you! My experience was amazing. I was feeling down and out about the holidays and being so in debt and pain with being a new breast cancer survivor. I saw a post on the survivors nest and immediately went to apply. I had been praying for relief any kind. They asked to send my documents and they immediately went to work to help me. I was so nervous that it would take a while they contacted me back with 48 hours saying that they would help. I was sitting here crying and so thankful. Cancer is no joke and the recovery is something you can never prepare for but through I will love foundation I literally can breathe better they helped financially with bills and sent a care basket with gift cards I felt like it was Christmas. Thank you so much
They are amazing, they helped out with some living expenses in this hard time of fighting cancer while being a single mom. So thankful!

I Will Survive, Inc. (IWS) has been a part of my rock, my glue and my motivation to keep on surviving. This organization has not only assisted me with gas, funds and food resources but has also become a part of my life. In my quest to give back, I joined IWS board as Outreach Committee Chair in 2012, while in my own battle with breast cancer. Founder, Anisa Palmer-Warren has a great bond with my daughter, Zaire. I believe this is attributed to her love and passion for her beautiful mother, who passed away due to breast cancer. I will be here for and with IWS and Anisa as she continues to build and leave an empowering legacy!
Much love and blessings!

A fantastic organization that has always supported its community through economic services, prevention education, and health and wellness services. I am proud to volunteer with such a great organization and providing amazing services to our client. IWS continues to go above and beyond the need of the clients and the community.
I wish I could explain how a little help goes a long way. Many who navigate any diagnosis are expending financial, familial, community and energetic resources for many years. And sometimes those resources are tapped dry. And you just need help. Like, right NOW. I am SO incredibly grateful for the interaction, amazing care package and genuine concern from the staff at I Will Survive. What a STARK difference from the energy of my oncologist and others in my world who have compassion fatigue (including myself). Just a "little" hope and a little help can stop a downhill spiral. And I just truly can thank you enough.
I Will Survive Inc is a great organization. They helped me in my time of need and in my sickness. This organization went above and beyond what I expected. I would highly recommend this organization for all Breast Cancer patients in need.

a group of truly devoted, knowledgeable, beautiful souls ! while providing financial and emotional support to those who are impacted by breast cancer, the IWS team honestly is changing the game. not to mention they are a court approved nonprofit, located in the heart of the city, & have an extremely welcoming vibe when it comes to those in need [and those who want to help!!]
I interned with IWS and was so impressed with the supportiveness and strength of the community. Everyone working with the non-profit was welcoming and dedicated to making a positive difference. The stories of the lives that IWS has helped and empowered are so heartwarming. I am honored to have been a part of such an inspiring team!
I Will Survive Inc. helped me during an extreme time of need. The time of my request to when they reached back out to me then to when they paid for my household needs was so fast it blew my mind! As a breast cancer patient having experienced a diagnosis in 2018 and in 2022 I don't know of any organization, personally or word of mouth, that has provided financial assistance at such a great speed. The time dealing with a cancer diagnosis is extremely financially difficult and intense so quick financial assistance is a blessing. I Will Survive Inc was beyond a blessing to me and my daughter.
I'm Jasmin Mendoza and I've been a member of IWS since March, and I've seen how completely devoted the members, volunteers, CEO, and everyone else who represents this organization are. They are passionate about helping individuals affected by breast cancer. This is the organization that is going to support you throughout your journey. IWS members have big hearts, and this is one of the reasons I adore them. God bless IWS.
IWS’s dedication to meeting people in their most vulnerable places, and IWS’s passion for surrounding people who have been impacted by breast cancer with love, has been the main reason I continue to donate to this organization. You can TRULY see the impact of IWS’s mission through the economic supports program, thier prevention education, and health/wellness services. It is so refreshing to experience !!! I Will Survive Inc., will always have a my support!!!
I Will Survive is an incredible group of people with a passion for helping others. They provide so many valuable resources for families in need of help as they are dealing with breast cancer. I was so impressed with this organization when I was acquainted with them for a work assignment, that I joined the team as a volunteer board member to contribute to their philanthropic endeavors.
I am so blessed that I Will Survive Inc. organization exist and was able to help me and my family. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2016 and I didn't know that their was an amazing organization that cared about me and we'll being
Thank You I Will Survive

I've been volunteering with IWS this summer and I can't say enough about what a great experience it has been. Everyone, staff and volunteers alike are so supportive and so committed to the good work we do here. I feel especially great in being to see how much the work we are doing directly benefits those in need in the community.
I am truly fortunate to be able to work with all the amazing folks at I Will Survive. Although I just started my journey as a volunteer for the organization, the welcome and compassion I've received already speaks volumes about how IWS cares about its mission and its people. I am very excited to help out any way I can and make an impact towards I Will Survive's mission.
I am a mother of four who was unexpectedly diagnosed with breast cancer and scared. I had chemo and radiation therapy and not being able to work through the pandemic and because of complications from radiation, I found out about the organization, I Will survive, Inc. I reached out before Christmas for help and was blessed with financial help and gifts for my children for Christmas. A business, Dave's Cheesteaks, sponsored my family and blessed us with gifts. I had to reach out again just recently because the pandemic is still a problem for me and the I Will Survive, Inc organization helped me again. I am so truly grateful that this organization exists and my family can rest easy this month. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I really appreciate I Will Survive Inc Services, because it helps me to know that as a breast cancer survivor, there are services I can utilize to take care of myself after treatment, such as health services from physical to mental.
I recently began working with I Will Survive, Inc., and I can't say enough nice things about this organization and the people working for it. I have been welcomed so kindly and am so excited to continue my work within the community. My favorite thing about IWS is how involved in the community they are and how much they truly care about each and every individual cancer patient, survivor, or someone at higher risk. IWS is not just an organization to raise and donate money, but an organization who wants to create a community of support for these individuals. The executive director, Capri Bell, goes above and beyond to help others and she has truly made working for this organization so fun and engaging.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017. I was introduced to I Will Survive though Grady Cancer Center to help support my family and myself through chemo, my self-esteem and support groups to cop with this transition with staying healthy after breast cancer. I am more thankful for all the support that I Will Survive, Inc has for us breast cancer survivors.
IWS is a compassionate, people-first organization that makes a big impact on those affected by breast cancer in our communities. If anyone you know is struggling, reach out and you’ll find kind people ready to help however they can!
In all of my years of work within the Nonprofit sector, I have never met an organization like I Will Survive, Inc. From the great community service, to the economic support even through a pandemic and continued virtual workshops/ events without a hitch, speaks volumes to the Founder, the Board, Staff, Interns & Volunteers. I Will Survive, Inc. Is a selfless, client focused organization with the right like minded staff supporting to drive the mission forward at all levels! The work done within the 10 years of the organizations existence has already set the foundation of the continued great work & barriers this organization will break.
What I like most about what I DO for IWS as a Board Member is Strategy Development & Team Building (those things which Board Members do); however, as a Data Scientist, I’m always present to the framing challenge or the creativity aspect of our projects: SMS Campaigns, Marketing Asset Creation, Campaign Evaluation, Campaign Implementation, Command Center Setup, Leader Board Performance, Data Migrations, Beacon Management, Geo-Fencing and various other data/tech use cases for both the needs of the business and community betterment.
What I like most about what IWS DOES for cancer patients and survivors is being HIPAA Certified and GDPR aware enough to be led by policies that protect the privacy rights of these very individuals, something which is very important and often mismanaged in today’s post 'Cambridge Analytica' society, a prime directive regardless of program affiliation or degree of assistance being provided; our Executive Director & CEO does a phenomenal job of making everyone feel at home!
When not volunteering for IWS, I can be found engaging in any number of competing passions and life goals, because I no longer have the luxury of only focusing on one; these would certainly include:
A. Family Reunions
B. Class Reunions
C. Discovering New Places & Cultures*
D. Ensuring That My Patronage Includes Black-Owned Businesses*
E. Supporting My Family & Community Leaders*
F. Developing Future Housing Options*
G. Attending Data Science & Analytics Courses & Events
H. Paying Tribute To The Elderly & Deserving
IWS is an organization that continues the care of breast cancer patients far after they receive treatment from the doctor. They address the needs that help patients truly survive the ordeal of being diagnosed, fighting the illness, and surviving breast cancer. Total healing requires more than medicine and IWS is there to fill that void. It offers resources and personal commitment to its clients.
I have been involved with I Will Survive since early 2019. I was drawn to the organization by its mission which is to provide support and aid to those directly affected by breast cancer as well as to their families. Over the past two years, I have seen the direct and meaningfully impact that the organization has had on its community of survivors, whether that is through direct economic support or health and wellness workshops to share best practices and preventive education. Anisa, the founder and face of IWS, is one of the most selfless people I have ever met. She is driven by her personal story and is devoted to helping others in her community. Her drive and passion to make meaningful change and aid those in need is evident immediately upon meeting her. It is this drive and passion that has enabled IWS to help so many survivors over the past decade.
I Will Survive Inc. is an amazing organization. There is so much support for the clients and the community from this organization. From organizing community events to direct support, I Will Survive Inc. is there to spread awareness and give assistance wherever needed.
Every one at the organization has been welcoming and very helpful. In addition, I’ve learned a lot as an IT Intern while collaborating with Saleforce.
What I like most about what IWS does for cancer patients and survivors is how they always go the extra mile and treat survivors like family, not a statistic. While some organizations seem to look for ways to disqualify those seeking assistance, IWS looks for to help above and beyond the immediate needs of the survivors. This is why I decided to become a volunteer. Working with IWS gives me the opportunity to share my experiences as a survivor and a recipient of services from IWS. This organization has been such a blessing to me and so many others.
I learned about I Will Survive through a volunteering website several years ago. After I met Anisa, the founder, I was inspired by her work and goal. This organization aims at helping families who are struggling financially, emotionally, or any other way. They work really hard to keep in touch with their clients and make every effort to provide any assistance needed. Anisa has kept IWS rolling with a pure goal and never expects anything in return. Their goal is to make difficult times easier for families affected by cancer (breast). IWS hosts events that are fun and sociable where patients themselves can attend and meet one another. I want to see IWS rise and more people to learn about because their impact on families is something that should not go unnoticed.
I discovered I Will Survive after looking for a volunteer opportunity to work with a nonprofit that meets the needs of its clients. Although I was not able to get involved at the time I continued to follow the organization. 6 years later, I’m a board member and am able to help the mission, clients and founder. Anisa is passionate and works hard to find resources for her clients. I encourage everyone to give of their time, talents, and money to support families affected by breast cancer.
My experience with Anisa is nothing more then magical. She is a gift to many but such a blessing to me. I WILL SURVIVE organization, has been in full support of assisting me in finding treatment for a condition I was diagnosed with in March 2018, called Breast Implant Illness (BII). Traditionally BII has not been linked with breast cancer until recently.
The cause of this illness is ruptured silicone or saline implants. Most recently textured implants have been associated with a new form of lymphoma; Breast Implant Associated Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (BIA-ALCL). BIA-ALCL, has become a reality for many breast cancer survivors and BII patients, who originally chose breast implants as a safe solution for maintaining body image. Unfortunately, this special lymphoma has proven to be fatal to many patients.
Thus the reason, breast implants now have an even more probable cause connection with breast cancer. BII is known to cause auto-immune diseases such as Lupus, MS and Rheumatoid Arthritis. Patients suffer from hair loss, severe brain fog, anxiety, weight loss/gain, depression, joint pain/swelling, and numerous other issues. Some women have suffered for years not knowing the cause of their issues. Most were not diagnosed until years later, since regular mammograms can not detect this condition, only a diagnostic mammogram which is not covered by most insurance. By this time, many women have become victims of auto immune illnesses, etc. just like breast cancer, early detection is key.
BII is a cause that needs to be on the lips of all health officials and mandates warning people of the potential life threatening issues implants can cause. Unfortunately, this is still a relatively new illness and not recognized by the FDA. Which has caused an ongoing battle with women and the FDA in securing payments via insurance for this illness. Majority of surgeries are self-pay with price tags from $6,000 and up just for removal. Not to mention the after-care and detoxification rituals and practices that are mandatory, causing an even bigger expense to patients that are out of pocket.
There is still much work and awareness needed. Thankfully, I WILL SURVIVE has assisted us in providing a platform for this cause. Anisa's immediate call to action to assist in raising money for awareness and mandatory surgeries for women, is priceless to our recovery. Currently, I am an advocate for BII and awaiting surgery like millions of others. In 2019, I established "Cracked But Not Broken, Healing Implant Illness" to raise awareness and money for this cause.
The guidance and direction Anisa has shown by taking my cause on as a client, has given me and other women like me, hope in becoming closer to surgery and healing. I no longer feel alone in this battle. It is my hope and prayer that everyone who is battling an illness or has a cause is privved to have the love, support and blessings I have received with I Will SURVIVE!
Gracious Thanks for allowing me to share my story!
Continued Blessings,

"I will survive", Founder Mrs. Palmer-Warren, and staff are total gems that deserve the utmost recognition for being an outstandingly exceptional Non-Profit organization.
I have to tell you that I had a constraint that could not be rectified, however "IWS" instantly agreed to eradicate the challenge and alleviate my frustration. Since being Ill, I've had many frustrations with my inability to meet up with many obligations, and having this resource was a calamity stopper!
They mean what they, say and deliver willingly and selflessly to patients. I am privileged to have been a beneficiary of these true life savers. -C
As a volunteer with I Will Survive, Inc for almost a year, I can say that this organization is by far one of the greatest companies I have worked for. I have learned so much through Anisa and her team that I can use in my regular job as a public health professional. Anisa has taught me how to network, interacting with clients, how to obtain grants and so much more that it’s immeasurable. Even with a pandemic raging on, she has never stopped and has continued to ensure that our clients have everything that they need. I do not see myself leaving this organization any time soon and I hope to continue providing the quality services to our community and around the world. Thank you Anisa, thank you I Will Survive.
I Will Survive, Inc. is one of my favorite nonprofits. They not only say they care about the community, they show they care in their many efforts towards bringing awareness to breast cancer and providing economic support to those battling cancer. All the employees and volunteers make you feel welcomed and like family. The Founder, Anisa, is a breath of fresh air. Her story is incredible. She turned tragedy into purpose. Very down to earth, supportive of all, and keeps a smile on her face. IWS is amazing!
Iwillsurvive is a charity that Definetly cares. They show loyalty, compassion and respect. They've helped my family over several occasions during my Breast Cancer in 2017. They are awesome. They deserve it all because they do so much for the community and the Cancer ppl and our families. We Salute the entire I Will Survive staff. Thanks for all you do. Trust me we see and recognize what you're doing.
An organization that truly cares. Compassionate, kind and professional.
Thank you I Will Survive!

I stumbled across this organization while looking for organizations to assist me during my second time around with breast cancer. When I met Anisa I met an angel. She is so selfless and giving. She also has a way of making you feel good about yourself.
I’ve known the founder, Anisa Palmer, for about 8 years and I couldn’t think of another more fitting person to represent, I Will Survive Inc. Anisa is a strong leader, with a powerful spirit of determination, passion, and compassion to help anyone and everyone she can, who is either battling with breast cancer, have battled with the deadly disease, and/or all of the people affected by such diagnosis, directly or indirectly. As we all know, breast cancer not only affects the survivor diagnosed, but it also affects their families, loved ones, and livelihood. Anisa has stood in the gap for many survivors who needed someone to go to surgery with them, for women who needed to get their mammograms, from survivors who have lost their jobs and were at risk of eviction, she is there. From acts of kindness such personally assisting with cleaning a survivors home to taking out another’s trash. There aren’t enough character spaces permitted to define or even begin to describe the impact that I Will Survive Inc. has had in our communities, with the strong leadership and passion of Anisa. I can attest to Anisa’s unparalleled dedication, unrelenting, and selfless love for others, which are solely a minuscule number of the admirable qualities she possesses.
I volunteered for IWill Survive Inc. And i will say from the beginning, i was welcomed with open arms, LITERALLY! I love that there is such an organization because it fills such a huge void in the needs surrounding and regarding cancer! May this organization flourish and continue to impact many lives in many ways!
This amazing organization has opened so many peoples hearts by being true to their mission.
I also follow them on Instagram and I find the information they post useful to my own life.
I am proud to have donated in the past and look forward to doing so again in the near future.
I’d like to add, that as a veteran, I appreciate seeing another veteran run an amazing cause such as this!
God continually bless all that they do!
I am a local business owner of a breast surgery recovery boutique in Atlanta. I have personally assisted women that were referred to me by I Will Survive Inc. and the stories I hear from patients about how they have made it through some very difficult times and they could not have done it with this organization.
I Will Survive, Inc (IWS), is truly an organization that supports and assists cancer survivors in an effective manner! IWS endeavors to ensure an individual is focused on their healing and wholeness, as they help provide the “necessities” of life (based on the individual’s personal need ! A much needed and appreciated holistic approach to “cancer care!”
The director and staff are sincere, friendly and caring!
God bless and favor IWS, INC!

I Will Survive is a well respected nonprofit organization. I truly admire Anisa Palmer and the impact she is making in the community. It's evident that she enjoys what she's doing. The breast cancer community needs an organization such as this to meet the needs of underserved communities! It's been a pleasure to volunteer and partner with I Will Survive.
My first encounter with I will Survive Inc was when I was diagnosed with Stage IIIA Breast Cancer, had lost both jobs, exausted all my personal income and was being Evicted from the Rental place. I was very weak from the Chemotherapy, very near broken emotionally, physically, psychologically, I was holding it together for my four children who were very traumatize by the diagnosis and seeing me sick for the first time in their teenage years. Ms. Anisa was very caring and stayed true to her word that she and I will Survive Inc would be there with me through my challenges, and more came, I got worse physically and emotionally and my kids as well, however, I am most grateful for every little thing that they have done, I don't know where we would be without their support in every way. I appreciate the support.
You could not be in better hands than this organization! The serve you from their hearts and that is what sets them above other agencies. Anissa Palmer is a woman I admire and respect!

Such a wonderful place with wonderful caring people. Miss Anisa Palmer, the Founder of I Will Survive, Inc. is a true beacon of compassion, strength, wisdom, warmth, and guidance. All of the staff of volunteers were also wonderfully warm and compassionate, each bringing a special sense of care and giving. I was inspired in meeting each Survivor, witnessing their vulnerability and beautiful strength. I have had wonderful, endearing moments sharing with them warm words and hugs, soft laughter, and bright smiles of compassion. Although I have been blessed to not need the services of I Will Survive Inc., I have also been blessed to know the founder and to consider her a dear friend. Having served in a variety of roles within the Atlanta community and abroad, it is clear when leaders have a personal passion regarding their role. Anisa has this passion and has executed her plan, pivoting when necessary, to help others.
The world needs more leaders like Anisa and those served by I Will Survie Inc., are fortunate.

I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2014 and unaware of the actual medical cost. When I received all my bills I was overwhelmed. I am a Social Worker and find resources for people. I went on the search for my own resources and I Will Survive Inc. contacted me and stated they were paying money towards one of my bills. I was overjoyed!!!! Recently, I modeled in a fashion show sponsored by I Will Survive Inc. and met many Breast Cancer Survivors. Made a new friend. It was an awesome event. Thank you I Will Survive Inc. You blessed my life.

I will Survive has helped me on several occasions with support through providing access to counseling, emotional support and also basic food supplies once or twice. I love especially how IWS focuses on providing health and nutrition information which is an essential to any recovery as well as for the upkeep of a positive mental and emotional well being. Helping me over the bumps in the road of life, IWS has a crew of volunteers that are always smiling and always willing to assist in whatever needs to be accomplished.

What a great organization to support that serves the metro Atlanta area under United Ways 211 affiliated program.
I serve as a volunteer for this organization. I also serve as the Founder and Executive Director. This organization is my life. I lost my mother to breast cancer and decided to start this organization after my service in the military. Please help us give back to our community by giving time, talent, and treasure to support our mission. Our mission is to increase breast cancer awareness through education and provide funding in lower income communities.
