I am a fitness professional Tiffiny, and I volunteered with LHTYF by teaching a fitness class with one of their participating schools. I really enjoyed working with the kids and had so much fun working with Lori Manns, the president of LHTYF. The kids were excited and it also helped promote the idea that physical activity and healthy eating can be a positive experience. I will continue to promote and help LHTYF in order to make sure the children of our community live a high quality and amazing life.

We are an elementary school in metro Atlanta with a group of teachers desperately wanting to start a science club and garden club. We applied for the grant from Live Healthy and Thrive Youth Foundation and received it this year. Can I say AMAZING? This foundation gave us an amazing garden that students were able to help plant. Our students were able to transfer their classroom instruction outside to the planting of a garden and are still able to transfer learning through the maintenance of the garden. This was a priceless opportunity for our students! We can't wait for our crops to be ready and for our students to experience the "fruit" of their hard work and learning!!! Thanks LHTYF!!!!!

It brings me great joy to share my experience with "live healthy and thrive youth foundation". I spoke with a group of young people about hypertension and diabetes. The children were so enthusiastic and remained engaged througout the presentation. They learned how important it is to live healthy lifestyles and to inspires others to do the same. I feel all children should receive what these children receive from this vital foundation!

I appreciate this organization so much. The leader of this organization was easy to work with and was very understanding. Without her, I would not have the scholarship from this organization.

I had a great opportunity to work with this awesome organization. They work so well with children of all ages.

I love their message and mission of educating of our youth while also stressing the importance of healthy lifestyle habits such as consuming daily nutritious meals, proper hydration and staying physically active for at least 30-60 minutes a day.

This foundation is fantastic and I look forward to working with them again hopefully sooner than later.

What an incredible organization! These folks, led by Lori Manns, have programs and activities that help kids (and their parents) to live healthier lives. One of the things that I love about LHTYF is that they collaborate with a number of reputable organizations and the community at large to interactively teach families about healthy eating and the importance of daily physical activity. Their programs are fun, informative and relevant to kids of all ages and sizes. They are committed to tackling the obesity problem, particularly among minority children. i love the work that they are doing and financially support LHTYF. I follow them on FaceBook and share information about them often. I encourage you to get to know them, support them through volunteerism and through your donations. They truly make a difference and need your support to continue their mission. http://livehealthyandthriveyouth.org/

This is a great organization. Children are our future and I believe that investing time with them and teaching them, not only to live healthy, but provide positive insight for the future by mentoring and exposure.

This is what this organization does for children. One of the best organizations I have ever seen.

Earlier this month, I volunteered with LH&TYF in order to plant up some vegetable gardens for a local Decatur school. It was an honor to be a part of trying to bring awareness to children about where their food comes from.
