Mission: Children's national advocacy & public policy, inc. (the "corporation") serves as the governance arm for the advocacy component of children's national medical center's four-fold mission of care, advocacy, research and education (c. A. R. E. ). The corporation will serve as a leading voice on child health for children's national medical center ("children's national") and will reach beyond the boundaries of the institution to advocate for all children regardless of their circumstance and location. The corporation will support the development and implementation of the child health advocacy institute (chai) and will provide oversight of the children's national's community benefit compliance. Additionally, the corporation will serve as the clearinghouse for establishing official policy positions and engagement strategies on child health and other relevant issues.
