I have rare condition called Cardiac Amyloidosis. The current prescribed medication is Vyndamax. This medications costs $21,215.68 per month prior to insurance and we have been paying out of pocket 16,000 per year. I am retired and living on a fixed income. For three years I have been paying for this medication with no assistance. I have been draining my savings and it had become increasing difficult to keep up with all my medical and daily expenses. I am so thankful to the Pan Foundation for all their help in paying for my medication and making my life less stressful due to my mounting medical bills. Before they gave me a very generous grant, I was concerned if I was going to be able to continue this vital medication. My experience with everyone involved with making this happen and continuing to support me whenever I have a question or concern has been extremely helpful. Thank you Pan Foundation.
We benefit directly from PAN foundation assistance and we wouldn't have made it this far financially and health-wise (more than 8 years) without them. We're probably average home and business owners, always pay our bills on time, no debt besides the mortgage but we couldn't afford the huge daily costs for my chemo. This organization is literally a Godsend.
PAN Foundation pays for very expensive medications that are life sustaining for Myasthenia Gravis. Unable to work and on a fixed income, before PAN, our hospital bills continued to mount. Each year we would make an agreement with the hospital for a payment plan rolling in the previous balance until we qualified for a PAN grant. It is truly a blessing to be able to focus on wellness without worrying about the financial burden!
I'm in my 70s and on a fixed low income. The PAN foundation is helping me afford my asthma medicines and I am truly grateful! PAN is the best help that I've found to help pay for essential medicines that I would struggle to pay for otherwise. I don't know what I'd do without PAN. They also helped me contact Fund Finder in between my acceptance for funds from PAN Itself. PAN is wonderful! :)
I've had usps mail, emails asking for donations, so I am beginning to understand what you do. I am happy to be apart!
Tuesday I received my cancer treatment center bill. I was expecting the balance to be $700. It was over $2K!
I didn't sleep much at all that night wondering how I could pay more. Then I received mail from PAN who appears to have paid the balance.
My prescription cost is about $3K per year, so this was very great news,
Sometimes medical expenses can be overwhelming, Your help has greatly helped! THANK you!
Much appreciated financial assistance for Medicare Part B premiums, Medicare supplement premiums, Medicare Part D premiums, and prescription drug copays.
Knowledge of PAN came through my healthcare team at Christus St Vincent who wanted to help with the many costs associated with my long term cancer treatment. When PAN covered most of the cost of the key medication I take daily it was a wonderful surprise. Without this medication my treatment options were much more limited. I feel most fortunate to be associated with you and grateful for your help! Thank you very much!
Patient Access Network, affectionately known as PAN, has positively impacted my life!! When I first learned of this amazing organization I prayed they could help. I was in desperate need for Copay funds for medicine I simply could not afford. Within minutes on the phone I was approved for a yearly grant. I was amazed at the ease of their process....why could I have not found them 7 months earlier! I then knew I had to give back to this wonderful professional nonprofit. Fast forward 18 months and PAN provides me with a transportation grant and reimburses me for my Medicare premiums. My rare disease makes life difficult but I am grateful for help from PAN and the opportunity to help them achieve their mission. I attended the 2024 Summit and we advocated on Capitol Hill. I was also invited to serve on a Patient Advisory Council. This is how I give back but we have much work to do. It is imperative that we touch as many lives as possible through advocacy, education and communication. PAN provides financial assistance that changes lives! Everyone with rare and life threatening diseases deserves to be aware of PAN and how it can help. I am honored to assist them in every way possible!
As a stage 4 colon cancer patient, keeping up with costs of insurance alone is a challenge, add in the copays and medication required with treatment and it becomes a financial burden. PAN Foundation has helped ease that burden and their staff goes above and beyond to help you. It's unlike any other organization of this type that I have encountered.
I was diagnosed with CLL in 2019 and have been receiving my medication each month thanks to PAN.
It comes from a Specialty Care Pharmacy in Albuquerque, NM and this pharmacy calls me each month to set a mutually appointed day for delivery of Calquence(Acalabrutinib). I'm asked if I've missed any days that I usually take this medication and if I have any questions for the pharmacist. I didn't know about PAN and don't really know how your assistance began for me. Perhaps my Oncologist/Hematologist began your services for me or maybe my Primary Care Physician or my health insurance. At any rate I began seeing this doctor twice a year with intermittent blood tests and am now down to once a year visits and fewer blood tests since Calquence is keeping me well enough to enjoy my life.
Anyway, I was relieved to find with my first pharmacy bill that I owed nothing. We had just moved to NM from CA where I was diagnosed and everything was new and confusing. I appreciated someone signing me up for assistance and when I need to have my grant extended I am so relieved to have your knowledgeable and pleasant and helpful staff discuss this with me. I have always been approved for grant renewal since being diagnosed and this negates financial worry for me and my husband, both seniors, so I can concentrate on keeping myself as healthy as possible. I began seeing I tell everyone I know as well as groups soliciting funds for various cancers about PAN. I am so grateful to whomever signed me up and PAN's assistance over the years without which my life would be more troublesome and worrisome. Thank you being there for me. You are greatly appreciated.
I live at 147% of the poverty level but Medicare will not cover the cost of the 3 medications I need to keep my asthma under control. PAN foundation provides me with a small grant that pays for those medications. They also enrolled me in an Asthma Education Program through American Lung Association that is teaching me how to use my medication properly and what things I can do for myself to prevent attacks. My doctors never mentioned any of these things. I am so grateful to the PAN Foundation for providing these much needed benefits.
After several trips to eye specialists, the ER and other doctors, I was finally referred to a Neurologist in Savannah, GA. (I live in Bluffton, SC). I had a few MRIs and a massive amount of blood tests. The diagnosis was finally in…Myasthenia Gravis. I was a little familiar with it because my cousin actually passed away from it. Of course, my nerves were getting the better part of me. With my mind racing, my droopy eyelids hindering my sight and my slurring speech, I asked the Neurologist, “Is it always fatal?” He explained that each case is different and I could live with MG for a long time. (I reminded him that I was 75) Then vanity took over and I questioned if the slurring, droopy eyes and aching muscles would dissipate and that’s when he told me about how beneficial Vyvgart infusions would be for me. The next thing I know, a liaison from Vyvgart called and filled me in on procedure and told me I would have to call an infusion center closest to my home. When she finally told me what my out of pocket cost would be, I was devastated and told her so. That’s when she suggested we have a conference call with a representative from the Pan Foundation. Both ladies were phenomenal and I could finally take some deep breaths. I applied for financial aid and was immediately approved because I met the criteria. Between my insurance and the Pan Foundation , the only payment I had was my co-pay for each of the 4 infusions in the cycle. I have gone through 2 cycles and it has helped immensely. I will be receiving a 3rd cycle at the end of this month (Feb. 2025). The Pan Foundation has been a God-sent financial resource for me and I’m sure for many others who suffer from various debilitating diseases with an extremely high cost of medicine to alleviate the effects of their respective maladies. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Pan Foundation. ❤️
PAN (Patient Access Network) has truly been a life saver for me by allowing access to a life altering medication that I could not afford without a PAN Grant. Every single person I have dealt with at this incredible organization has gone above and beyond. Their mission is to insure medical access to all- and that is exactly what they do.
I will be eternally grateful to the PAN organization and all who have contributed to it over the years. My husband received help from PAN for over 9 years in his fight for life after a diagnosis of CLL. In that time extra time he was given (by God) he was able to watch two more grandbabies be born. He lost his fight this last year after 3 bouts of pneumonia and septicemia. Thank you does not seem sufficient for the extra years I had with my husband for 55 years. May God bless each of you who help in any way.
PAN approved a reimbursement for the cost of Adempas $1664.18 in March 2024. I have received NOTHING. I call every week to inquire and am told that "new systems" have delayed payment. I think the PAN employees are lying. PAN collects but does NOT help patients with expensive drugs. my claim number is 022524-209-80. Elizabeth H White, PAN patient number 06634313. On the "patient portal" website, my password and email are not recognized. How can I pursue the money that I am due?
Elizabeth h White I am a client who has not been served. I have been cheated.

I was diagnosed with CLL Cancer in November of 2018. The PAN foundation stepped up in January after receiving my request for aid and have been a major financial contributor every since. The PAN foundation has been such a blessing to me as I do not have the funds to finance the monthly expense for my treatment and don't know what I would do without this wonderful foundation. . I am thankful beyond measure for this foundation and their continuing support, and pray that my treatment will continue to keep my cancer in check in the future as it has in the past. Thanks you FAN FOUNDATION!
I was very blessed to have the PAN foundation helping with my medical expenses. For some reason my grant was changed and I was put on a wait list. Now I am paying $275 a month from my social security check and it makes it tough for other bills I have to pay. I'm hoping something comes through soon. This nonprofit is a lifesaver.
My wife was diagnosed with PAH in January of 2020 which had a projected survivability of 2 years. Her specialty medications cost slightly over $37000 per month after our insurance plan. She was granted help from PAN at first and then Pan helped her apply to TAF. She passed this May of 2024 having surpassed the 2 year estimate significantly due to help from PAN.
After a long career assisting the underprivileged citizens in South Florida, I had a very rewarding career but one that never actually paid a great deal. Unfortunately retirement came at 64 by way of disability through lung cancer and a blood cancer. I lost a lung to lung cancer and the blood cancer saddled me with a medication that would virtually slow this cancer down to, if not full stop, completely manageable. My problem was I live on social security and Medicare. The insurance paid a big piece of the bill but I still had to pay $2000 a month. That was more than I received for my social security. Imagine working your entire life and still having barely enough to live on. I burned through a great portion of my savings. At last I found out about the PAN Foundation and they literally saved my life. At that time my only choice was hope I can make it without the high priced medication. I don't understand why the US pharmaceuticals get away with charging so much when the tax payer already pays for research and development. I could see if they had to charge over $100,000.00 per year per person for a couple of years but I have been receiving it for over 10 years. Without the PAN Foundation I would surely be dead by now.
My pharmacy costs are $14,000 monthly. Our combined social security won't cover much of that as other retirees can appreciate. Without help from organizations like PAN....the choice becomes NOT.
i havent got experince with yall but i need help for my husband he is in a comaand i need help with medical stay at hospital or they going to put him in hospice and remove the trachmonlis on his neck and let him die due to we cant payand he has no insurance this just happened out of the blue please help us i dont want my husband to die
Bruce 2/26/24 I have shingles in my left eye and the PAN Grant paid for the eye treatment that I received. When I started the treatment everything was a blur. After the treatment I can see almost perfect. Thank you
My name is Wilson and I’m 74 years old. I have two types of blood cancer for which I must take two different specialty drugs. One pill is a chemo drug and the other is a drug which targets a specific gene. Both drugs are wildly expensive and, although I am deeply grateful that the drugs I take are keeping me alive, it is hard to believe that they cost what they do. But what choices do I really have in this situation? One choice is to keep taking the medicine, the other choice to me is unthinkable. I never considered being in such a situation, and I’ll tell you one thing, there are not a lot of people rushing in to help. However there is one organization that is willing to help and that is the PAN Foundation. I am and shall be eternally grateful to PAN for their help in helping pay for the drugs I take. In this day and time it seems uncommon that an organization I knew nothing about was ready to step into the gap and help out. I remain amazed and grateful.
They paid almost a hundred thousand dollars for a rx for me . I’ve made a pittance of a donation, but I’m so grateful to do it.
I'm sorry I've been so remiss about thanking you, it's just that I've been so busy lately. I work as a professional stagehand, about a year ago loading a show, something I've done a thousand times, I suddenly couldn't hold my head up, had to lift my chin using a free hand. Crew members noted I had trouble speaking, sounded like I have rocks in my mouth. Within a couple days I had to take a leave of absence because I had trouble eating; chewing, swallowing, even moving the food around in my mouth.
After several months of referrals and tests I was prescribed pills for Myasthenia Gravis which I took up to six times a day and insurance didn't cover. I would have to take one in the morning and wait an hour before I could swallow more pills and eat. I could not lift my arms high enough to brush my hair, move the shower curtain, or turn on an overhead light switch. I was certainly not able to return to my regular job.
Eventually I was cleared to get infusions of Vyvgart, this stuff is wonderful. My insurance isn't bad and covers much of the expense, but I'm on a fixed income and what's left is very tough on my income. A liaison of the drug manufacturer was able to supply the contact to the PAN Foundation to help me pay the remaining expenses for the treatment. The PAN Foundation has helped me return to my regular work. My first job returning was to help load out an Opera Company, among my tasks I had to climb ladders up 50 ft to restore lighting in the front of a theater, it's great to be back productive again.
My name is Donna. I was born with a unrepairable heart defect. I was not expected to survive. I'm now 61. I have also acquired asthma and pulmonary hypertension. So I couldn't work much during my life. My husband had to leave his job o few years ago because arthritis. It's hard to get buy on a low income. I'm so thankful for the PAN foundation to help me buy me expensive medications.
PAN is my most important financial support source. My medicine is extremely expensive, and I couldn't possibly have afforded it. They've literally saved my life and I'm immensely grateful to them.
The Pan organization has enabled my wife and I to remain living in our home. The medications needed for me after I came down with Parkinson were not covered by our insurance company. The allocation the PAN organization allotted us money to assist in paying for some of my medications. I thank the PAN organization for all they do for me and others. Hopefully someday the medications will be covered.
I am Tom from Fort Lee, NJ. I am an 80-year-old retiree and taking a number of daily medications.
One of the medications is Entresto for Chronic Heart Failure. My pharmacist suggested that I contact the Pan Foundation to get financial assistance with this particular medication. I applied for assistance (which was greatly needed) and was approved for several grants.
I have been receiving financial assistance since 2020. I am so grateful and appreciative for all that the Pan Foundation has done for me. Whenever i speak to them on the phone, they are professional, compassionate and extremely kind. I am sure there are hundreds and hundreds of people who are the
recipients of their kindness and generosity.
THANK YOU, PAN FOUNDATION!
Tom, Fort Lee, NJ
I am glad my Doctors chose to reach out to the Pan Foundation for help with my Myasthenia Gravis.
I have had MG FOR 7 YRS. I take pills that don't seem to help. I read the Brain and Life magazine. They list new things that are tried for MG. When I first got MG I didn't know anyone else that had it. Now there is a lot more around this area that have it. I'm currently taking IVIG infusions at my home. Thanks to the wonderful nurses. I also have a very nice lady that calls me. Thank you for doing that. Thank you PAN for what you do.
We are very grateful for the assistance PAN Foundation is providing for my husband's Parkinson's medication. His regular medication is helpful but he experiences "off" intervals between doses, so his neurologist prescribed Ongentys. It was covered by our prescription drug plan and the copays were manageable until we reached the "donut hole". Then they became unmanageable. We asked his neurologist about other options and she told us about PAN Foundation. It was closed so we got on the waiting list and waited a few months until the PD fund opened. We are so thankful his application was approved because the Ongentys has been extremely helpful. We cannot imagine my husband having to discontinue it due to our inability to afford the 'donut hole" copays.
I have Myasthenia Gravis. I’m on a very expensive med that I need so I don’t regress back to the way I first was( choking, drooping eye lids, weaker muscles and falling) I could not afford my Copayments so I was so stressed out. I got PANS number through a friend. I called and talked to a very nice professional lady who helped me that same day with half of my Copay for the year! I’am so grateful to this wonderful foundation! A Big hug sent and thank you so much!

I'm so very thankful for the PAN Foundation! I have a rare blood cancer and must travel to another state for care. The PAN Foundation travel grant has helped to make that travel possible this past year. In addition, the PAN Foundation is now paying prescription copays for my very expensive cancer drug, which is helping to keep me alive! Every interaction I have had with a PAN Foundation representative has been cordial, helpful and efficient. They are so caring! I'm so appreciative for all the help the PAN Foundation has offered to me.
In 2008 the Doctor discovered I had Prostrate Cancer.. After diagnosis they explained there was several ways to treat this disease. The doctor recommend Radiation treatments which was started about a month later. I went through 42 treatments with no after effects and continued to get my PSA checked every 3 months, along with a injection every 6 months. After a few years my PSA started to rise slowly and the doctor wanted to put me on a drug called Nubeqa. They told me it was very expensive, but not to worry as they were working to get me a grant. I am very thankful to my doctors and the Pan Foundation in their help. With out the Pan Foundation and saving would be got and I would not be able to live the retirement I am enjoying. Very thankful to the Pan Foundation, keep up the great work.
I was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia in November 2022. I began treatment in December 2022. The treatment consisted of infusion treatments each month for six months. At the same time, an oral medication was added taken daily of which I have since continued. The cost of the cancer medications involved were extremely above anything we could afford. It included the Part D prescription drug plan that I have of which the insurance covered a large share of the cost but the copay was still extremely high. My wife and I are retired and are on a fixed monthly income. To help afford the cost a grant given to me covered the copay for the cancer medication. This grant that I was fortunate to receive with the help of Nebraska Hematology Oncology was greatly appreciated. The PAN Foundation is special to many people. I am blessed to be one of those people. I am so grateful and fortunate to have received the grant. With the help of the grant given by the PAN Foundation, the stress of the costly treatments and drugs was greatly relieved. I am forever grateful. PAN Foundation is a Godsend. What more can be said about PAN Foundation. Thank you very much for helping me.
Pan Foundation has been a blessing, and a great release in assisting in the financial part of your contribution to the health of those in need. . There are people that cares about the well-being of other human
Being. Did recommend this foundation. Continue the good work, and be blessed.
Pan has helped me with my the cost of my Trulicity.
I get in the donot hole every year around March.
I couldn't afford the cost of my Trulicity without PAN.
The application process was a easy process.
I appreciate PAN, they have helped me tremendously.

I was diagnosed with MG and after 4 hospitalizations it was apparent that the traditional drug regimine was not working. It was recommended that I begin the Ultameris regimine which bears a significant co-pay. Fortunately the PAN Foundation provided me with a grant to cover the recommended treatment range. I am very appreciative for this grant and the Foundations support. For 6 months I was not able to take my medications or my nourishment orally but I am now able to do both and I will no longer require the feeding tube that was inserted for that purpose. Again, I want to thank the PAN Foundation for their generous assistance.
I have Parkinson's disease. It's been more than 12 years since I was diagnosed. This disease has slowly taken away my mobility. I have been prescribed medications, some of which were not covered under my insurance. With the help of my doctors, I was told about the PAN Foundation, which could help me cover the out-of-pocket expenses. This has been a godsend, for which I am truly grateful. I feel the PAN Foundation has been a partner in my treatment for Parkinson's. They have been understanding, helpful and supportive in allowing me to receive the medication I need. Without the PAN Foundation, I do not think I would be able to face the challenges Parkinson's has given me. My gratitude is to the many people who have given their financial support to the PAN Foundation that allows them to help people like me.
I have had MG for 6 years but just recently switched to an IVIG infusion and connected with PAN. That association has most likely saved my life. In 2023, I was in the hospital 5 times with a sepsis infection and my previous MG infusion was not able to be used because of that. I have now been off all medications for MG for 14 weeks and have gotten much worse over that time. I am supposed to be starting the IVIG infusions again in the next week and without the support from PAN, that simply would not happen. I cannot thank PAN enough for the support during a very rough year and hopefully a start to a much better year in 2024. Gary Bailey, Texas
Pan has essentially saved my life. I am a stage 4 breast cancer survivor on two medications that keep me stable and alive. The co-pays for the meds are astronomical! From 2500 - 500 per month! I am 69 on Medicare living on social security only. I would not be able to continue my drugs without the help of PAN. They are lifesavers!
What a wonderful deed the Pan Foundation has done for me. I can sleep at night knowing My needed medication is Available without a financial burden...Sometime during the years I will try to send in a
donation to help with another grant. I appreciate and thankful for your assistance.
Joanne Rockoff Arizona
The foundation has been a life saver, figurately and literally. I am extremely impressed with this organization and will support the Pan Foundation at every opportunity .
I am forever grateful to The PAN Foundation for the assistance to pay for my life saving medication.
I have recently become a widow, I lost my husband , September 2023, therefore my income has decreased.
Thank you PAN FOUNDATION for your help.

In 2021 I was diagnosed with a rare chronic cancer called Essential Thrombocythemia. The injectible drug I need to manage this cancer and to help keep it from progressing to a more deadly form of cancer is very expensive. The emotional toll of worrying about not having the money to pay for my drug Pegasys was heavy. The drug is working very well. I am living a full life and enjoying watching my grandchildren grow up. Without the PAN foundation this would not be possible. Thank you PAN!
I would not be alive today were it not for the Pan Foundation. My CLL medication copay amount is half my entire monthly income. Every month I renew my medication, I thank the Foundation for adding yet another month to my life.
I feel so fortunate I learned about the wonderful nonprofit known as the PAN Foundation! I heard about the foundation when I was seeking help to pay for my husband's unbelievable cost of a new medication (Jakafi and now Vonjo) that my husband's doctor prescribed for his condition of Myelofibrosis. The whole process of applying for the grant was unbelievably easy. The staff was so helpful and understanding and I couldn't believe how fortunate we were to receive this very needed help. Thank you sincerely for your dedication and help and for restoring my faith in humanity. You are truly a blessing to us!
As an active 80 year old woman, I am exceedingly grateful for the financial help PAN has provided so that I can live well and happily. The emotional toll of worrying about not having the money to pay for my drug (Jakafi) which I need for Polycythemia Vera was heavy. The drug is working very well, and I am living a full life. Thank you for helping me.
Pan foundation is a financial life saver! Cost was a serious problem. Medication is helping greatly,Thank god for the Pan foundation. helping greatly with making it possible for me to stay on Skyrizi
At the age of 43 I was diagnosed with Waldenstroms Disease. I was told that although it is a rare cancer it grows very slowly and it could be years before I needed treatment. So very blessed with an oncologist from Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, he told me he would like me to consult with a Doctor who only treats Waldenstroms Disease, at Dana Farber Cancer Center in Boston.
In 2010 it was necessary for me to begin my first round of chemo, with additional treatment in 2018 & 2019.
Twenty eight years later, my husband and I make the trip to Dana Farber several times a year.
In the early part of 2022, I became quite ill. I spent seven days in the hospital diagnosed with Covid and Sepsis. After spending almost 3 months on the couch unable to recover, we again traveled to Dana Farber. After Ct/pt scans, MRI’s, bone marrow aspiration and a lumbar punch, it was discovered that I developed Bing Neel Syndrome a rare spin off from Waldenstroms that affects the Central Nervous System. So rare I am considered one in one million to develop this disease. I am on an oral chemo med that has worked wonders. Yes it has its drawbacks, especially brusing, but I am still here. Thankful and grateful that I live to enjoy life watching my grandchildren grow and living life with my husband for over 50 years. PAM has assisted with my medication as well as travel expenses. Their personal are always personable and caring. So thankful for all there help…
I am 58 years old and have 4 autoimmune diseases. 3 years I became unable to work . My most debilitating disease is lupus and the injection is around $4000.00 which without the pan foundation I could not receive. I am most thankful for the grant otherwise the pain would be so much that I could not get myself out of a chair or do anything else for myself , the injection I receive keeps to flares that are painful but manageable.
The Pan grant helped me in 2023 to be able to get my medication Burkinsa for my CLL. I am also very thankful for the recent grant of 01/02/2024. My co-pay is extremely high, and without this grant, I would not be able to take this medication. Many thanks to the Pan grant for proving me the opportunity to live an extended quality life to enjoy my family and all that life has to offer. Sincerely and with great appreciation, Marlene Ellis
This Foundation made it possible for me to get help for my right eye. The nerves were damaged by shingles and so no tears being made meant extremely dry eye. This resulted in infections and my cornea was seriously damaged and my vision became very blurry. The oxervate eyedrops that the doctor prescribed are very expensive and the copay was very high. Thank you PAN Foundation for the grant to pay for the copay.
I was diagnosed with CLL after having 5 abdominal surgeries in 2021. I was told this is a very slow moving cancer. However at the end of 2022 I had a lot of stress added to my life and several deaths in 2023 which added to my stress. Consequently my cancer went in hyper drive and I needed treatment right away in July of 2023. I was told the best treatment for me was a pretty new drug and the copay was huge. My doctors helped me apply for the PAN grant and I was able to start treatment in August. As of today I am considered STABLE and I was allowed to stop one of the other drugs I had to take with my chemo drug.
I’m VERY THANKFUL for the PAN Foundation grant and the help they are giving me. I still have to take my chemo drug.
Without the pain foundation, I would not be able to afford my medication who has helped my health a whole lot.
I have had prostate cancer for 1and1/2 years . During the beginning I felt lost , scared and wondered how I was going to pay for the very expensive meds. Then along came the great help from the PAN Foundation. I am so greatful for there help. With them, I don’t know what I would have done. Thank you so much for being there for us.
I want to thank the Pan Foundation for it's existence, because it has helped me take care of many of my problems......the people are always so kind and friendly when I call for help--whether big or small. Since I have this Parkinson's thing, it is wonderful that I have somewhere or someone to turn to when I feel the need........today's world can be so overwhelming at times, so the Pan Foundation keeps things calm for me....Thank you again.
It wasn’t until I retired that I found out that I have Crohn’s disease. The reality was a shock because I have never been that sick before. I am on an infusion of Inflectra every 8 weeks and am now in remission thankfully! The other shock was the cost/ copay of the drug. The staff at my infusion center educated me and my husband on PAN and we’ve been blessed to be a part of this wonderful nonprofit! Thank you PAN for your help!!
I am writing this review on behalf of my husband, James, and myself, we live on our social security checks. He has a defibrillator, he has had cancer, he has type 2 diabetes, he only has one vein leading from his heart and a year and a half ago I had surgery on my lower spine, so I walk with a walker now. The Pan Foundation helped us out tremendously this past year with the expenses of my husband medicine. He is on brand name medication for his heart and diabetes that he has to take to stay alive because he also has weak kidneys also. But we are thankful to GOD because we know there is always someone somewhere that is always in worst shape than we are. This foundation has been a true BLESSING to us and we are forever thankful.
Invaluable, Kind, helpful, there when I need them. This is The PAN Foundation! I have Polycythemia Vera, was diagnosed in 2013. I went through phlebotomies, constant lab work, was mentally and physically exhausted. Finally, my Hematologist put me on Jakafi which is a very expensive drug. At first, I had no idea how I would manage this impossible cost. But PAN offered me a grant that covered my yearly deductible. I feel so much better because my body has recovered and I am reacting well to the medicine. I have been given the gift of life because of the generosity of the PAN Foundation. If I have a question or concern the customer reps treat me with respect and such kindness. They have never let me down by answering my concern with solutions. Thank you!
I was diagnosed in 2017 that I had Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) and i would need a stem cell transplant. One of the side effects that is possible is graft versus host disease (GvHD), and sure enough I got it on skin, lungs, and eyes. The drug that they wanted to put me on was way out of reach for us. We found out about the Pan Foundation and what a blessing they were! With the grant from them I was able to get that one drug that should give me the best hope and I am very thankful for the Pan Foundation! thanks KC
I am so grateful to be PAN recipient just being diagnosed with PNH with treatments started in September of 2023 and the extensive costs in travel, copay also my out of pocket expenses I am so blessed for the support from PAN thank you for help relieving my stress. The application process went smooth and communication was outstanding.

I was diagnosed with CLL (chronic lymphahatic leukemia) five years ago. After having several dangerous bouts of Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia, I was placed on Rituxan infusions. Those helped for awhile until I developed severe negative reactions. Next I was placed on Calquence which costs $15,000 a month. Our drug insurance pays the bulk of this charge, but the PAN Foundation grant picked up $800 a month that would have been out of our household income which would have been devastating to us. PAN has been a real blessing to me and my family. They are always available to talk on the phone to us and answer our questions and guide us through the grant process. They are a wonderful nonprofit organization that is professional, helpful, and caring. I cannot say enough about the good they are doing.
I developed Prostate Cancer with metastatic disease. My uro oncologist recommender Xtandi to control the metastatic disease. This is a very expensive medication and I could not afford to cover all of the copay. I was on 1/2 dosage until PAN opened applications for Xtandi. I thank God that I was awarded a grant that made it possible for me to go on the full dosage which has controlled my disease and the PSA'S Have returned to satisfactory limits.
With out PAN foundation I would now be a statistic. Thank you PAN.
I’ve received two types of grants from the PAN Foundation. $9,700 Co-Pay Assistance for my type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, which pays for my cancer medication that costs $10,000+ per year out-of-pocket, and $500 Transportation Assistance, which pays for my gas. I feel unbelievably blessed to have all this financial help, because our budget would not allow us to afford the cancer drug, as my wife and I are both disabled with a limited yearly income. I can’t speak highly enough of the PAN Foundation, itself, as well as their website and patient assistance representatives, who have always proved to be extremely helpful and courteous. Thank God for PAN!
I have always been blessed with good health and an active lifestyle. About the time i turned eighty I developed Afib and a much worse condition Amyloidosis. The cost of the drug to treat this condition is the most expensive heart medicine in history. My wife and I were confronted with out of pocket expenses that were crippling. My advocate at Valley Health in New Jersey was able to get me a grant from your foundation and it is a God send. We both cant thank you enough. Life becomes very different and difficult as we age and eighty has been a health disaster for me. I don't know what I could have done with the help the Pan Foundation has given us. Thank you so much.

The Pan Grant and People that work with and for the Pan Foundation have SAVED My Life. I Paul , Thank You with ALL of My HEART.
Pan Foundation I'd like to believe save my life on helping me with my medication. When I was told i had congested Heart Failure, it took me by surprise and was scary for me. Not knowing what to expect. I was prescribed one medicine that was so costly. It was called in for me, when they called to tell me the cost I panicked. I was told the medicine was over $1,000 my cost was over $300 and that was with my Ins.
I remember being quite, the lady ask was I still there. I spoke to say I couldn't afford the medicine, she said we have a program may can help you. She took my financial information, put me on hold.
When she came back on the phone after 10 min she had good news for me. She said I was approved for the assistant to help with medication, I hollered with joy. She told me I wouldn't have to pay anything what the program pay my Ins would pay the balance, for the whole year or until the funds ran out I was approved for. From that day forward it gave me peace of mind and no worries. This financial program is a blessing to many.We all our grateful and appreciative of all the donors that help the program to help us, we thank you all.
When I was diagnosed with MG,and found out how much it was going to cost for my medication I thought it was over for me.there was no way I could afford it.untill I found the Pan foundation.if It weren't for them I don't know where my life would be or if I had any life to look forward to.i don't know how to thank them.all I can say is thank you for helping me live a better life.
I am a retired, 73 year old male on a fixed income that was diagnosed with MS in ‘’97. After going through all of the injectables, my neurologist put me on Rebif. The initial price, prior to going generic, was Roughly $7300..00 for 60 capsules or one month therapy. I cannot begin to thank the Pan organization for their benevolence in assisting me with my medication.
I was given the news that I have PV in 2019. I had no idea what it was or how to deal with it. After taking a prescription to help with the PV I found that it would not work for me because I’m a diabetic. I had to start using a medication that costs a great deal of money monthly. Thank God for PAN, who helps pay for the extremely expensive medication. It has made dealing with PV easier because my wife and I don’t have to worry about the monitory end of having the disease. Thank you PAN.
Good afternoon,
My store is great, I am four years after transplant and doing good. Thank You so very much to the Pan Foundation, without your help. We would not have been able to afford this drug. Thank You so very much. Otto
I have been so very blessed to have the help with my medication
expenses. Had it not been for this foundation, I would not have been able to afford the meds necessary for my cancer. They have many areas and categories of help available to you. No judgement just compassionate professionals. I can't say enough about all they do. I am so very grateful!
As a single semi-retired woman, I have to make sure I save for taxes, insurance plus pay my monthly bills. Last year my out-of-pocket was $5,500 and one of my cancer drugs is a Tier 5 drug and I had a co-pay around $625 every 3 weeks. Being diagnosed with ovarian cancer was difficult enough worrying about treatment and how I would respond to treatment let alone how to pay the co-pays. With help from UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, I applied for a grant from the PAN Foundation. I received a grant for $3,700 that helped me cover the out-of-pocket costs I was incurring. This was a God send to me. I applied again this year since my co-pay is now $4,500 and received another grant for $3,250. I don't know how I would have been able to manage this without the PAN Foundation. They are truly a wonderful organization. I am so grateful!
I don't know I would have paid for my cancer meds if it weren't for the Pan Foundation! Knowing they are there for me gives me great peace of mind. And I have a fantastic way of enjoying my life and not worrying about finances all the time. Thank YOU PAN!!
I have been a PAN Foundation grant recipient for one year, and was just awarded another year of grant to pay for my infusion medication co-pay for treatment of severe Rheumatoid Arthritis. I'm on Social Security & Medicare, and have infusions every 8 weeks. The infusion medication is not a choice, but a necessity, for me to live with less pain and joint swellings and to live with more independence. Until my first grant, I was making payments on the 20% co-pays, and with limited income, no one should choose between life altering medication, rent & utility bills or food. My grant gives me peace of mind that my medication needs are met, and that gives me hope for my future physical and mental well being. My heartfelt gratitude and blessings to everyone at Pan Foundation, and it's donors & pledges. Thank you!
I came tto USA with my family too late to earn good Social Security.
I am very sorry I can’t donate any money. I and my husband have gross $2352..40 for 2024. But after we pay Medicare twice of $174.70, we left net $2003.00 for two of us for a month. And we pay for an apartment $877.19 monthly. Also we need to pay electricity, telephone, car and I am not talking about food, because medicine is more important for us. My husband is 84 year old and I am 77 year old. I feel very sorry because Pan foundation helped me to pay my Brukinsa. And Brukinsa is really works. Without it I wouldn’t be alive. I don’t know how to explain my appreciation Pan foundation. My English is so pure and I have not enough words.
I am sorry again.
Please excuse my English.

It was all very upsetting when my chronic lymphocytic lymphoma was diagnosed as progression to a significantly worse stage. After CT scans and PET scan, I was told a BTK inhibitor would help me tremendously. There was no choice but to begin. When I heard the cost it was stifling, but someone called me to explain I may qualify for a grant from the PAN Foundation. I think I remember just answering a few short questions. What a miracle! The monthly co-pay would be covered by the grant. This year I have a zero copay thanks to the PAN Foundation! Thank you so very much. It’s been such a blessing to have your help.
The PAN Foundation grant support has been essential in allowing me to afford the medication to treat my condition. They have come through with grant support exactly when I needed it. For that, I am grateful that the Foundation is there for me, and other patients taking expensive medications to treat there conditions. They qualify, in my humble opinion, as a "great non-profit."
I have been taking Calquence for nearly five years
for Chronic Lymphostatic Leukemia. It has certainly
allowed me to live very well. I am 83 years old and
my husband is 89. Paying the copay every month
was getting prohibitive! (Over $10,000 per year). Last year my pharmacist suggested I call PAM. They
were wonderful in accepting me into their program
and offering to pay a given amount for the next
year. It has been such a Godsend to us as we have
struggled to keep up with the cost of this drug
which has worked so wonderfully to keep me
healthy. We are forever grateful and blessed by this.
Thank you so much! Barbara J. Patefield
Each person's story may be different, but the reality is that many of us are not prepared to face the disease. I was fortunate to have my oncologist and the staff who helped me , because as a patient I was very confused and depressed. That was when the Foundation helped me with the cost of the medication.
Thank God and the Pan Foundation for the help.
Sincerely
Jesus Bujans
PAN Foundation has really saved me. BioPlus - my specialty pharmacy - organized them for me the first round - they are wonderful too. But I've had 3 grants now covering what I couldn't have afforded and keeping me alive with these super costly cancer drugs. THANK YOU to PAN Foundation
What a wonderful organization with the nicest people to work with. The process was easy and not overwhelming. My out of pocket expense was a tough one for me and to actually find that help was available was amazing. I really didn't know how I was going to make it. Thank you for all that you do for people in need!
When I was diagnosed with Parkinson's, I was devasted. Was this what I had worked all my life for? Then I got even worse news. My insurance didn't want to pay for my medicine, gocovri. I was going to have to use all my social security check and try to get someone to hire me to go back to work to be able to pay for it. I cried many, many tears. Then a nurse told me there was a foundation that might be able to help me. She told me about the PAN program, and what a godsend that was! Now thanks to the PAN program, I cry tears of joy and greatfulness.
I am 77 years of age. Four years ago, I was diagnosed with CLL/Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. I was at stage zero at that time and able to lead a fairly normal life, although my energy level was failing. About a year ago, I began feeling fatigued all the time, and made an appointment to see my oncologist. I was already seeing him every six months. Due to the latest blood tests, he told me that my leukemia was progressing and that someone would be contacting me through a patient assistance program. I received a phone call from a lady with Texas Oncology who told me that she was assisting me in a grant to pay for a drug called Zanubrutinib. I found that this medication would not kill the cancer cells in my body but instead works to block the uncontrolled growth of cancer cells. I have been taking this drug now for approximately four months. The cost of this drug is prohibitive ($15,000 a month). I could never have afforded this medication even with Medicare assistance, and, therefore, would never have been able to take it. Without the PAN Foundation and its enormous generosity and empathy, I have been taking it now for about four months. There are no words to express my gratitude to this Foundation. I am able to live a pretty normal life. I don't have a lot of energy and cannot do what I used to, but my future is a lot brighter because of PAN and I am praying that the drug will extend my life so I will be able to enjoy spending many more years with my wife and my wonderful children and grandchildren.
I was diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer in May of 2019. Through the grace of God and a great doctor who has steered me through this, I am doing well. I would not be able to even type this if not for the generosity of the PAN Foundation. Cost of medication is staggering and I would not be able to purchase medication from my resources. In May of 2019 my urologist said that 75% of the people who have what I have will be dead in 5 years. He now says that I will probably die from something else. Thank you for my life.
I have Rheumatoid Arthritis & have to go every four weeks for an infusion. I would not be able to afford my medicine if not for PAN Foundation. My insurance pays 80% of the medication & my portion is 20%. That is over $600.00 every 4 weeks. There was one year that I didn't get a grant & I was in horrible pain the whole year. I am so thankful for & grateful to Patient Access Network Foundation.
Upon finding out I had CLL and SLL , I was very concerned about what I would need to do to control my condition.
When I found out how expensive the drugs were and that after my insurance paid their part I still could never afford the treatment.
Thanks to the Pan Foundation they made it possible for me to get the drug needed to control my cancer .
My Doctor tells me that the drugs are doing a great job and I am handling them very well . With out the aid from the Pan Foundation I truly do not know how I would be doing but certainly not as well as I am!
I thank God that the Pan Foundation is there to help support my ability to treat my cancer and my family keeps them in there prayers God bless all those who support the Pan and people like me healthy with out this support I truly do not know what I would do .
Thank you most sincerely
Steven Wilkens
Few people have savings set aside for the diagnosis of cancer. When you receive this diagnosis your whole life changes as survival becomes your main focus. Cancer brings with it the need for expensive medications, numerous vitamins, costly nutritional supplements as well as additional expenses such as gas for travel, skin care creams and lotions, warm clothing, and good shoes. The PAN Foundation was established to help defray the financial stress that a diagnosis of cancer brings. The PAN Foundation has gifted our family with grants for chemotherapy drugs and travel expenses. This has allowed me to spend my energy fighting cancer rather than stressing over medical bills. I am thankful that the PAN Foundation exists as they have made my journey with cancer bearable.
Hi I'm my mothers caretaker and I just wanted to let you know how wonderful the Pan Foundation has been for my mom's well-being.
The Pan Foundation has been an answer to my prayers. I have congestive heart failure and two of the medicines that help keep me alive are very expensive. I live on social security and my income is limited. I could never afford these medications on my own. I am so grateful for the help from the Pan Foundation. Thank you.
I am so fortunate to have found the Pan Foundation. I had just gotten diagnosed with a heart condition and couldn't afford the medication I needed to have a productive life, because it was so expensive. With a limited income I was introduced to this foundation through my physician. I simply applied for help not knowing if I would get approved, but praise God, I was approved and so blessed to get some financial assistance. The funding was such a tremendous help. I'm so thankful and grateful. Much thanks to the Pan Foundation for their assistance.
The PAN Foundation is the only avenue we have to continue the specific medication that works for my husband's Parkinson's. Most people don't know that the pharmaceutical copay cards work only for commercial insurance. When you become Medicare and what might be $0/month with insurance and copay card while employed, often becomes $500+/month because your Medicare doesn't cover it, or it is a Tier 4 or 5. It can absolutely exclude you from a medication you need. My husband was going to discontinue the medication that made a dramatic improvement (due to cost) when I was referred to the PAN Foundation. It is our lifesaver. Thank you to everyone who is able to donate to make this possible.

I'm writing this for my husband, as he is no longer able to use the computer from Parkinsons. When he was prescribed the Rytary, we found out just how expensive it is, even with Medicare Part D and our Advantage program. The free trial sample from the doctor's office worked wonders and held his symptoms back like magic. It is an extended release version of the carbidopa/levodopa But we couldn't afford it.
No one anywhere has any answers why the pharmaceutical Co-Pay cards that are so widely advertised to bring your out of pocket expense for any of the new meds to $0, $5, or $10/month do NOT apply if you're on Medicare. That is really absurd. Because of that, there are medications we simply have to do without because there are no generics. In other cases, the generics have been out for 50+ years and the side effects are prohibitive. Rytary does have a copay assistance program, but it only kicks in if your Medicare prescription copay is more than $300/month for it. Ours is $299. We cannot afford that on top of all the other medical. I had researched everything online and almost given up when Rytary people told me about PAN Foundation.
I cannot begin to tell you how PAN Foundation has saved our lives. Without this medication, my husband's condition would be far more advanced. Without PAN Foundation we could not have this medication. It's just that simple. His quality of life is improved and therefore my quality of life is improved as his full time caretaker. Everything about working with the Foundation is so professional and do-able. I don't know what I would do without your assistance and thank you every time I fill his pill organizer. Blessings and much gratitude.
got a grant for Oxervate treatment..started 8 week treatment...grant ran out of money after 2 weeks needed to discontinue therapy. I clearly confirmed inital grant covered first 4 weeks of treatment but it did not
PAN made it possible for me to afford the medication my doctor recommended for my Parkinson's diagnosis.
Six years ago my doctor diagnosed me with CLL. Chronic lymphocytic leukemia. A form of cancer. I was in denial. And this cancer is slow. But a year ago, my face puffed up like a balloon. I had an appointment with my doctor. He was alarmed. This is exactly what he'd been waiting for. He told me he was going to put me on a medicine, but explained nothing about it. Not even its name. It turned out to be a drug I could not have afforded in a million years. Without help, it simply wouldn't have been available to me. And, like you, I have things to do before I die. I'm an author. My work doesn't just save and change my life, apparently it does the same for others. And I have two more books I need to write. I'm 80. So I need another ten years. And CLL could easily make that time unattainable. But my doctor put me in touch with two women at my hospital, NYU Langone, who felt they could get me a grant to pay for the medication. They succeeded. And I'm finishing my eighth book with more strength and enthusiasm than I had when I was nineteen. My secret savior was PAN.

The Pan Foundation helped me get much needed medicine that I was struggling to pay for on my own.
It is a wonderful thing to know that there is help available for people with difficulties in paying for needed medicine
The staff was very friendly, caring and helpful.
I applied for a grant with the PAN foundation with the Type 2 Diabetes fund 3 different times. On the 3rd application I was approved. Anytime I call to speak with a representative I am handled with the greatest respect and courtesy. Everyone is so helpful and informative. The PAN website is so easy to navigate to obtain information. You can log on 24/7 to view your grant balance and transportation balance as well. This organization is so well run. People who work there bend over backwards to help you and they really care about your well being. I am on social security disability with limited income. My co-pays are very high due to how expensive my medication is. If it wasn't for the Pan Foundation I wouldn't be able to afford my prescriptions. Pan is a world class foundation and is certainly helping me improve my quality of life. Thank you for all you do for me and others.
Sincerely
Mark Youngman
Pan Foundation was very helpful in my time of need and gave me great financial assistance for my diabetic medicines.
In October of 2019 I was diagnosed with melanoma skin cancer that was treated by surgery and one year of oral immunotherapy. I was fortunate that my out of pocket costs for my immunotherapy pills were paid for me by a foundation very similar to PAN. At the end of my one-year treatment cycle, my tests showed clear and we were of course elated. However about 3 months later a new area of lesions showed up in the area of my initial surgery. At this point my oncologist prescribed the installation of a surgically implanted port and one year of immunotherapy by infusion of the drug OPTIVO. That is when our most fortunate interaction with PAN Foundation started. During that year PAN Foundation was at our side helping us to be able to afford my treatments. Due to another recurrence of lesions we are now starting six months of a more aggressive treatment regimen called TVEC while continuing with the OPTIVO infusions. This has been a challenging couple of years and we still have work to do to be cancer free, but one thing is certain. Without the financial help of the PAN Foundation I don’t know how we could have gotten this far. The staff there has been so very helpful and professional during this stressful time in our lives. I also must include my most heartfelt thanks for the importance of the donors to the PAN Foundation. I can certainly vouch for the fantastic work that their donations do every day at PAN. God bless you all and them in their work for the foundation. Thank you everyone!
I have been diagnosed with polycythemia Vera and have been successfully taking Pegasys which is a biological shot. A tiny vial of 180 Mcg cost approximately $1000. It was experimental for years so the drug company supplied it free of charge. However once it was approved by the FDA, it was full price. It was when I found Pan Foundation who advised, after stating my case, that they would allow a grant which helped me afford this drug. I am a senior citizen and on a limited income so this is a boon for my health.
I don't usually write reviews, but for this organization I will make a exception. I have prostate cancer that has metastasized to the bones. I am on several drugs for that, the most expensive is xtandi.
Without the help of PAN for my co pay, I would not be in remission, as I am now!! Couldn't even afford the co pay..
I never believed I would have this disease or receive so much support.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
I was diagnosed with Myleofibrosis. I am retired. My copay on my medication after insurance is over $900 a month. My doctor told me about the PAN Fondation and it has been paying my copays. I am very thankful for them. It is wonderful not to stress out over the expense. Thank you,
Delphine Jones
I was diagnosed with AML (acute myelogenous leukemia) in 2015 and relapse in 2017. After a bone marrow transplant in 2018, I experienced host vs graft disease which is controlled with the drug ruxolitinib. Ruxolitinib costs $18,000 per month. When I learned this, I was devastated because it was completely unaffordable. Fortunately, the financial assistance coordinator at Allegheny Health Network assisted me to apply for a grant from PAN. PAN covers the cost of ruxolitinib for me and allows me to live a fairly healthy life. Without PAN, I probably wouldn’t be writing this story.
The PAN Foundation is a wonderful organization. I have an autoimmune disease that is managed with very expensive medicine given by infusion. I am recently retired and my healthcare plan covered part of the cost but unfortunately I was responsible for a very significant out of pocket cost each month. The drug supplier suggested that I apply for a grant from the PAN Foundation to offset some of the cost. I applied for the grant on-line and was approved very shortly. The application process was very simple and took only minutes to complete. I am blessed to have received a generous grant that was so badly needed. I wish to graciously thank the PAN Foundation for providing this assistance.
Simply put.. PAN foundation has saved my life. I was rationing my Multiple Sclerosis medication because I could not afford it. I was told about the PAN foundation and got on the MS wait list. When the MS fund opened, I quickly applied, crossed my fingers and said a PRAYER. IT WORKED!! What a WONDERFUL foundation helping so many afford their much needed medications. I simply LOVE THE PAN FOUNDATION!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU !!!
Without the Pan Foundation I would not be able to afford the medicine that I need for my Myasthenia Gravis. It has helped me to not see double, to not fall all the time, and many other things that my medicine corrects. I am so grateful for the Pan Foundation!
PAN Foundation deserves kudos for the great information and staff who have the knowledge to really help!
I have struggled with shingles on my face for a year. Of course my eye has been affected. Last year Medicare would not approve the oxervate eye drops. This year they approved a portion but I was left with several thousand dollars to pay. Thankfully the PAN Foundation stepped in and paid for the needed medication. My eye has healed thanks to them and their assistance. The nurses or pharmacist were both available to answer my questions and were always so patient and helpful.
The PAN Foundation has been great in helping me with my medication costs. Without their help, it would have been so hard for me to afford my copayments for my cancer medication. They have employs that are very nice and professional. This is a fantastic organization.
PAN Foundation has been a Godsend. Without it I could not afford the drug expense to treat my chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Ibrutinib costs about $11,000 per MONTH. The Foundation has been paying thee expenses for 3 years. I owe them my life
I was so happy to find Pan Foundation because my Asthma medication was much higher than I could afford even with insurance. Not having my medication can land me in the hospital or worse. I had tried other organizations that said they help but none were available or they didn’t cover my medication. Thank you Pan Foundation and all of your supporters, I’m totally grateful!!!!
When I was diagnosed with Myelofibrosis, it was a shock. I had a hard time coming to grips with the "C" word. I tried to be a "big girl", but when I learned that the medication I needed was going to be over $3,000 a month, I fell apart. I called my son and he assured me he'd find something. "We'll go to Canada or Mexico, if we have to, Mom, to get your medication." Fortunately, we did not have to do that. My son searched online and found PAN. I applied for a grant, and received co-pay assistance. Thanks to PAN, I have no monthly co-pay. PAN is truly a godsend! I am blessed to have found this organization (and to have a son who knew where to look.) Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
By sharing your story, you can help us get recognition from GreatNonprofits. This goes a long way in helping us serve more people who struggle to pay for their out-of-pocket medication costs. Writing a review is quick and easy, and it only takes a few minutes of your time.
We hope to see your review soon!
With gratitude,
I'm on disability social security and my funds are very limited. I have Asthma and COPD. The medication I take for it is really expensive and my Medicare through Blue Cross Blue Shield only covers a small amount. The price is a large portion of my monthly income. The Pan Foundation has stepped in and covered my part after insurance. The Pan Foundation has been a life saver. If I didn't have the Pan Foundation, I couldn't get my medication. I'm very grateful for everything they have done for me.
PAN Foundation is one of the few nonprofit charitable organizations that are actually managed efficiently and, no doubt, productively. From the recipient's perspective, they never lose documents, never ask for a document more than once and only ask for what they feel is relevant to their decision. It is a pleasure to work with such a well run organization. Donors should know that their thoughtful donations are well tended and recipients are vetted to insure the assistance you provide reaches the people who need it most.
I was diagnosed with CLL in 2012. I began treatment the next year. So far I’ve had 5 different treatments,
thanks to PAN, and right now I am taking 300mg of Venclexta since 2020. I had a difficult time getting on the drug, had to be hospitalized 5 times because I developed tumor lysis syndrome. I am very happy to say that thanks to PAN, I am able to travel with my family, enjoy the little things in life, and am grateful to PAN every single day! You are the best!

My name is Gerry Anderson and I was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia in May, 2018. I have been taking imbruvica since that time that targets the leukemia without affecting other cells. The only side affects that I have had are bruising on my arms and some weakness at times and I get a check up every three months and my white blood cells count is staying normal because of the imbruvica. What's not normal is the cost of the imbruvica, right now it's around $ 17,000 a month, fortunately my prescription insurance covers ninety five percent of it and the PAN foundation covers the other five percent and has done so since 2018. Without the PAN foundation, I would not be able to pay the five percent without putting me in a bind. I am so thankful and blessed because without my medication, I might not even be alive. I cannot stress enough how important the PAN foundation is to people like me, you are truly Lifesavers, and I will forever be grateful
I had never heard of the Pan Foundation until I was diagnosed with cancer. Fortunately, my treatment is by pill rather than infusion. However, the cost of the pills is very high and without the help of Pan my treatment would be prohibitive. Thank you Pan for all your help and all that you do.
I was diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer, and the medication and chemotherapy treatments are very expensive, but because of Pan Foundations help I am able to be reimbursed with my out of pocket payments, which has helped me tremendously, I’m blessed for this foundation, and am doing very well. Thank you
I was diagnosed with Parkinson disease in 2015. I was still feeling the hurt of losing my wife of 48 years to cancer. I decided to move back home to Texas and family. I coasted along forabout 5 years and then started feeling little twitch in my arm and dr started me on low dose of medication and it worked fine for awhile and I could afford it.but today im taking a drug called Rytary. Pretty much back to normal except the drug is so costly I could not afford it with out the grant I recerved from Pan. These folks get behind you and make sure you can get your meds. They are so excited to help you so you don’t have to dread talking to the folks. I thank you Pam for your help. Ron
PAN's assistance with my Entresto copay has been very helpful. My medications for heart failure and my wife's for metastatic breast cancer are very expensive. The help from PAN is very helpful to this elderly couple.

The financial aid I receive from the Pan Foundation allows me to obtain the medication
which I need to stay alive. Without it my bone
marrow would proliferate out of control and
ultimately would cause my death.
I am an 80 year old male. In May of 2023 I was diagnosed with colon cancer and operated. After my surgery I was advised to get chemotherapy. I was scheduled for it to begin in June 0f 2023. After my first infusion I was given a prescription that resulted in a $35.00 co-pay. Subsequently, in 3 weeks time I needed to refill this prescription and the co-pay was now determined to be $394.00. The Oncologist I had could not find a pharmacy that would fill this refill.
I made phone calls and found a local pharmacy that was willing to fill the prescription. I was able to borrow money for the co-pay. Overtime I paid back my benefactor. In late July, I received a letter telling me someone had submitted my name to the PAN Foundation and I was accepted and qualified for a $2,500.00 grant. I was extremely happy at this unexpected news and submitted what I thought was proof of my expense.
Four different times I was advised that I hadn't submitted enough proof and each times I was able to get more info that seemed to always not be enough. I finally sent a very strong letter about how I was feeling as if they thought I was scamming them, that I had only tried to get my $394.00 no more. In the middle of December I received a check for $394. I was very grateful but also exhausted it had taken almost 5 months of confusing requested documents.
So again, I am grateful but hope in the future you can make the verifications needed to be more understandable or simpler to the elder population. Especially when asking for only about 16% of the grant.
In closing thank you, it is something that many people need especially with the increasing cost of living on a fixed income.
Very truly yours
Gerard Surprenant
I have been on a very expensive oral medication to treat my Waldenstrom’s lymphoma for 4 years now. I could not have afforded it without the help of grants from PAN Foundation. PAN has covered my deductible after Part D has paid their part. The medication has stabilized my symptoms and blood works.
The PAN foundation has helped me so much the last few years!! If it wasn’t for them I don’t know if I would have been able to afford my chemo pills!!! They also have now added $500 which helps since once a month I have to drive 45 miles one way!! I am grateful for PAN foundation thanks for all you do for everyone!!!
PAN Foundation is heaven sent! Being asthmatic and diabetic, it is very difficult for me and my spouse to afford the spiraling cost of medications on a limited retirement income. PAN Foundation has helped defray the cost of medications (Advair) allowing us to meet other essential cost of living. The support has indeed made out life easier! The online process of applying and renewing PAN support is very easy and seamless. Thank you PAN Foundation!

I never smoked and was a gymnast as a child and throughout high school, always exercised and was very healthy. At age 63, I had just retired, I developed a sharp pain in my left shoulder. I went to the Dr. had an MRI and a tumor was found in my rt lung!. I was diagnosed with Stage I Non Small lung cancer! I was horrified! I had to have my lung partially removed. It was painful and horrible.
After the surgery, it was found the cancer had spread to my lymph nodes, now Stage 3. I endured horrible chemo therapy that made me sick. lost 40 lbs and lost all my hair. I had Medicaid at the time, but once my husband started working again after being laid off as a computer contractor, my co-pays were huge as I needed frequent scans, and a targeted med to keep the cancer away.
We were soon was over $25,000in debt and afraid of losing everything! Thank goodness for my medical Case worker who told me about the PAN foundation. They've been helping me pay for my expensive targeted therapy and after several years of sacrifice and budgeting, were now doing better financially, I'm so grateful to the PAN foundation!! They're a lifesaver!
The Pan foundation has been a great help with the cost of one of my medications for Parkinsons.
The grant has paid for my medication with no cost to me. Thank you so much Pan Foundation for all you do by helping so many people..
Thank you again

I was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension about 7 years ago. After finally being diagnosed, I could not believe the cost of the drugs that would keep me alive! Then, the PAN foundation gave me a grant which defrayed the costs of these drugs! They have been helping me ever since and I am so grateful to them
and the donors who enable me to live my life without fear of not being able to afford these drugs! Thank you so much!
My name is Frank Gramo; I needed to retire in order to properly provide the needed of my wife who has dementia and Parkinson’s. Being on a fix income and facing increasing medical cost in addition to other cost of living expenses, I reached out to a number of Non-Profits for assistance. The Pan Foundation quickly responded. Their assistance was processed and delivered online. Their application and entire process was easy and their response time was vey impressive and assistance very helpful and appreciated. We will always appreciate all they do and how easy they are to work with, just very professional and know how to utilize technology.
Last year I was diagnosed with state 4 prostate cancer. I could not believe how expensive some of the drugs were to treat my health issue.
PAN came to the rescue and helped me lighten the financial strains during a difficult time.
Thank you PAN for being there in my time of need.
The PAN Foundation has allowed me to be able to take the prescription that is the most beneficial for treatment of my Parkinson's Disease (PD). The treatment depends on the steady flow of medication to relieve the tremors in my hands and other symptoms. My doctor suggested that I should try a new time release formulation of my medication. I was provided with samples to see if this would be helpful. The relief was amazing!
My doctor then told me the drug was quite expensive. That was an understatement. She then told me about the availability grant programs. I had never heard of these programs. I first applied to the drug manufacturers program and was turned down. Then I found PAN in an online search and they had an opening in the Parkinson's Fund and I was accepted. What a wonderful day that was! I have told many people ...members of my care team, friends, strangers in line at the drug store etc about grants. Specifically PAN. Foundation grants
The people at PAN are always so understanding, polite, patient and helpful it is great working with them. The day that I found them made me feel so much less anxious about my financial situation in relation to today's drug prices. . Now I have a grant for a second drug.that is very expensive. I didn't have to worry this time about the cost because I knew about PAN. If their funds are not open they will refer you to other grant providers. . .. .
I was prescribed a very expensive medication to treat graft versus host disease (GVHD) after a bone marrow transplant. Without the PAN Foundation financial assistance, I don't know I would be able to afford this medication. On the telephone their representatives are always knowledgeable courteous and very helpful in assisting with the application process and answering questions about my grant. In addition to assistance with the costs of medication, PAN also provided me with travel assistance, as I must travel by air from North Carolina to Boston for post transplant monitoring and treatment. If you can afford to donate, the PAN Foundation is a very worthy charity to support. They have relieved me of the stress that would normally accompany receipt of large medical or pharmacy bills.
I have a rare cancer called Myelofibrosis. I am retired, and my husband is also very ill and had to have all the toes removed! We could not afford the medication I needed, but thanks to PAN Foundation I can receive my medication. I was also able to receive a gasoline card which was a big help.
Thank you, Pan Foundation,
Katya A. Petersen
After being diagnosed with Waldenstrom’s , I experienced a rapid and unexpected progression of symptoms which required urgent treatment. The medications prescribed are incredibly costly and my monthly copays were several thousand dollars after insurance paid its portion. Unprepared for the unaffordable expenses, I was fortunate and blessed to have received a grant from PAN. Suddenly being diagnosed with cancer was a difficult and emotionally taxing experience as everything in my life changed. The medications are extremely effective and without them, the quality of my life would be very poor. Because of the generosity of PAN, I was able to afford the necessary medications and continue to live my life and enjoy my family. I am eternally grateful for this amazing foundation. PAN gave me a gift that touches my life in many more ways than just monetary. I am able to focus on healing and navigate a different journey through life without the anxiety of extreme financial strain. There aren’t enough words to express the magnitude of the importance of this foundation. Thank you PAN.
I have Cushing Disease which is one of several rare disease that take years to diagnosed and time to find the expert Doctor in treating it.This medication that I receive is made possible through a grant from the PAN FOUNDATION.The medication is $5,000 a pill and it am now only taking 2 a day.It is impossible for me to even begin to imagine how I would pay for the medication. But with Non Profit Programs like PAN. I qualify.I depend on these grants because my insurance do not cover the entire amount each month.I have to have the medication in order to live so I am very grateful for my Doctor telling me about the PAN Grant.
Pan Foundation Grant has helped me from 2019 to present with them my life has been prolonged from receiving the Imbruvica 420mg medication for my CLL this is a very expensive medication without this grant I don't know where I would be today my dosage is now 280 mg going strong Thank you Pan!!!
I a m so greatful to the Pan Foundation for covering the cost of my co-pays for my cancer medication. It would be hard for me to meet my bills without their help these past 4 years. Thanks so much.
What a God sent. After being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, I went inward upon
the realization that I was in fact human, and subject to disease. My life at 70 years of
age remarkably free of serious illness. The PAN foundation was partly responsible for
helping me get out of my tailspin, by being there financially when the cost part of my illness
was one of the many factors to be considered. I am greatly indebted to these fine folks, as
today through their financial support, I have the medications needed to weather this storm. Thank you, thank you and so many thank you’s for being there in time of great need.
I am so grateful to the PAN foundation to help with the cost of my CLL oral immunotherapy. I don't know how I could afford it otherwise. Even with my insurance, it costs $2000 per month the first 3 months then $800 per month the rest of the year. I am hopeful I will be off it soon. I really appreciate this foundation easing the financial burden. They work directly with the pharmacy to pay claims. Thank you so much for all you do.
I have small cell lung cancer and I see 4 specialists and had lung surgery and three months of chemo therapy. I received a grant that hasn't paid for anything whatsoever and I have paid several thousand dollars out of pocket last year. I don't know what you pay for, but it isn't anything I use for treatment of my cancer.
I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and treated with 45 treatments of radiation.
This was successful in getting my Psa number down to an acceptable number.
I also was getting monthly shots into my stomach to get testosterone levels down.
While the shots themselves were not painful the resulting swelling and tenderness last from 7 to 10 days every month.
My DR. wrote a prescription for Orgovyx a daily pill that does the same thing as the shot, but no adverse side effects.
My part D insurance approved it for me but it was still too expensive for me to pay.
The radiation group Genesiscare connected me with PAN and they we extremely helpful in getting my application submitted.
I was approved for funding by Pan but they didn’t have the funds available at that time but said that I would be put on a waiting list.
Approximately two weeks later they contacted me and said that they had received additional funds and that I would be able to get the prescription cost fully funded.
I have received 2 prescriptions so far and won’t know until May to see if I need the pills after that.
PAN has said that I can reapply if I need to continue the prescription after my allotment of funds is completed.
There is no promise that they will have funds at that point but it’s nice to know that they will try.
I am grateful to PAN for their support and their help with my prescription. It has made my life so much better.
Hopefully I can get off the medication completely and that PAN can help others that are in a similar position.
Thank you
Daniel Scherrer
I am a senior citizen on fixed income ands I am extremely grateful to the PAN Foundation for the grant I received to cover medication used for immunotherapy treatment for cancer.. It has eased my mind from worrying about money for treatment. I thank the PAN Foundation for their generosity and their staff who are so willing to assist you.
Pan was there for me when I had no one else to turn to Pan Foundation has always been there for me I will recommend pan foundation to friends and family thank you pan
I’m currently receiving assistance from PAN for my Parkinson’s medication, GoCovri which is a game changer for my symptoms. It is very easy to re-order. The only draw back is having to re-apply for assistance each year. All technicians are very nice and helpful.
I was diagnosed with CLL in 2009. Started treatment in 2016 and shortly after, went into remission. Unfortunately, I came out of remission in 2022. But by that time, I was retired and ever so grateful for the Pan foundation to help pay for this very expensive drug. With all my gratitude, Rich

EXTREMELY GRATEFUL for the help my husband receives for his EXTANDI !
We could NEVER afford it on our own.
It's keeping my husband here to help me with the care of our adult child with Down Syndrome.
God bless you & all the generous donors !!!!!
My name is Brenda. I was in desperate need of getting help paying for some of my medications. I have asthma and probably copd because I used to smoke. Stopped that bad habit 20 years ago praise the Lord! I was searching the web and I came across the PAN foundation. I called the number and they were so supportive and kind to me! They asked me a few questions about my income and such and the next thing I knew, I was approved to get help!! I would not have been able to get the inhalers and nebulizer medicine without PAN!!
The operators that answer their phone calls have always been so kind. Sometimes I have to wait for a grant to open but as soon as there are funds PAN always contacts me to let me know. If it weren't for the generous people that make the donations to help people like me breathe, I would probably not be here....That's my PAN story.
Hello Pan Foundation and Friends,
William 'Bill' Patterson here - age 70 - still surviving stage 4 prostate cancer matatastic to my bones.
The diagnosis came at the emergency room, March 10, 2021. There were no signs or symptoms other than a pain on my right side closer to the front.
The Pan Foundation grant has made it possible to continue receiving my cancer medications that I could not afford; due to living on a fixed income and medically retired.
I was reading some Pan Foundation news, current research and about another grant for helping with transportation costs. This has been a true gift helping pay for gas driving to medical appointments and pharmacy trips.
For anyone who's looking for financial help with medications and for transportation expenses, Pan Foundation is the organization to contact.
THANK YOU PAN FOUNDATION FOR HELPING ME TO KEEP ENJOYING LIFE.
With gratitude,
William 'Bill' Patterson
Diagnosed in 2018 with stage 4 prostate/bone cancer, I had to end my 26 year career with Delta Airlines to concentrate on my health. Not knowing where to turn to for help, my doctor advised me to apply to the PAN Foundation for assistance. Being approved by the foundation for medical assistance with my medications has been a blessing. The cost of some of the medications are costly, and now that I was not working, financially it was putting a strain on our finances. If not for the generosity of the PAN Foundation, we don’t know how we would have been able to afford the medications needed for my care. Once again they have been a blessing in our lives…..THANK YOU PAN Foundation for giving me hope !!!
I have Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and require expensive pills to stay healthy. You have helped me to pay for them and to stay in good health. I can play golf 3 times a week because of that....thank you
Sam
An Air Force Veteran here with Chronic Leukemia. For some reason the VA thinks I am rich so the help I get from the VA is nil. I live on Social Security benefits and small pension (less than $500 a month). As you know medication for CLL is VERY expensive. I have been on Venclexta since my white blood cell count hit 100,000 and now my white cell count is back in the normal range allowing me to live a mostly normal life except for the fatigue. Thank You PAN foundation for helping me to live. God Bless you all.
Back in June of 2022 I was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell Lung Cancer. I was given the option of taking a pill called Lumakras which targets the cancer cells. This is a very expensive drug . It cost me over $2000.00. I tried to get some financial help from the company that made it , but they would not help.
I can't remember who told me about PAN but when I called them I was put on a wait list because the plan was filled. In December I was called to tell me that I could submit my application. I was approved & from that point they have graciously paid for the medication. I am so thankful for the help that I have received from them. It has been over one year & the medication is working. I am doing well.
Thank you PAN. I am most grateful for all the financial help that I have received
I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2019. I needed Zytiga for it. The drug is rather expensive. If it wasnt for the Pan Foundation, I don’t know what I would have doe. I am very thankful for their financial help.
Dale Brown 74 years old.
Without your help I would not be able to take the p
PnH medication ,nor would I have survived. Thank you so much for your foundation
I could never have my chemotherapy without the assistance of PAN. I believe that I would die from this cancer because without the Patient Advocacy Network, I have no funds to pay my co-pays. They are a wonderful organization. Highly recommended.
I was diagnosed with CLL in late 2019 and my Oncologist immediately prescribed IMBRUVICA. Unfortunately, I and my wife are living on a small, fixed income and I couldn't afford the drug. Through my doctor, I was introduced to the PAN Foundation and began receiving the medication. My original dose was 420mg and my WBC was at 160. Within a very short time, my WBC began steadily dropping and is now at 10.68. I have had some side effects, but nothing that I couldn't manage. My dosage now is at 140mg, and I feel very good.
Thank you PAN Foundation as you have saved me from a very ugly and painful death..
I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis back in 2018. I went through every drug in the book and nothing was working. My Rheumatologist told me that I had the highest RA factor she had ever seen. I was in a lot of pain. Back then I had BCBS health insurance so when we tried Rituxan infusions, it was pretty much covered. I was finally put on Social Security Disability and unfortunately, the infusions were no longer covered. The government also doesn’t allow for us to get help from the drug companies so I went a full year without my infusions putting me back in terrible pain and discomfort. One of my doctors had heard of the PAN Foundation so we applied for me. This will be the second year I’ll be receiving my infusions because of this wonderful group. I don’t know where I’d be without them! Thank you so much for all you do!
THANK YOU FORN HELPING TO EXTEND MY TIME HERE ON EARTH, WITHOUT YOU PEOPLE AND YOUR ORGANIZATION IT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE. AGAIN, THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.
DARRELL B.
The PAN Foundation is a great organization. They provide grants for numerous diseases. I have Pulmonary Hypertension. Although I have medical insurance, the co-pays for my medicines are high. Being a retired individual, my income is limited. The PAN grant gives me daily security that I don’t have to worry about choosing between paying my co-pays and my other bills. Thank you PAN Foundation!
A wonderful charity who helped us with an extremely expensive eye medication that without their help it might not have been doable.
It has been life changing. A blessing.
Bill Kasten
i was not able to afford my medication and when i did get it would only take it sporadically. thanks to the pan foundation i have been able to get the medication i need and take it as directed by my doctor. thank you
I am a 16-year survivor of Prostate Cancer. This organization is a blessing granting me funding. Paying for all my shots and medication which is very expensive. My income of $799.00 SS has not allowed me to pay for excellent healthcare or meds.
When I found out the estimated out of pocket costs for one of my diabetic medications, I was in shock. I voiced my concern with my Part D provider and they recommended PAN. The initial process was smooth and easy. The Foundation provided me with a grant to help offset my out of pocket expenses. Today I had another occasion to discuss another grant with PAN. Everyone I have spoken with has been more than helpful and informative.
If it wasn't for the pan foundation I may have not been able to pay for my hepatitis c treatment, my insurance was only able to cover some of the cost of my treatment.
For my neurotrophic keratitis I have gone through three rounds of oxervate. I appreciate the financial help and the drug helped me for a while. I would like to go through another round if I am eligible for patient assistance. I sincerely appreciate having been accepted into the program, and my sight is mostly stable now. Thank you.
Miriam Ellison
I am so fortunate to have found the Pan Foundation. I had just gotten diagnosed with a heart condition and couldn't afford the medication I needed to have a productive life, because it was so expensive. With a limited income I was introduced to this foundation through my physician. I simply applied for help not knowing if I would get approved, but praise God, I was approved and so blessed to get some financial assistance. The funding was such a tremendous help. I'm so thankful and grateful. Much thanks to the Pan Foundation for their assistance.
Has helped so much I can get my wife’s heart medication. She would skip medication sometimes just to make sure she has enough.
PAN has allowed me to afford my medication to completely control my Chronic Lymphocitic Leukemia. I was diagnosed about 26 years ago, reaching treatment stage about 2 years ago.
My Oncologist tried several medicines, finally one was found my body could tolerate and kept my white blood cell count at normal level. Obviously, the medicine is extremely expensive and PAN stepped in to allow me to receive my medication. I am now at a maintenance level of medication. My Oncologist just told me: "Chuck, if I did not know your history I would not know you had leukemia." I am 80 years old. THANK YOU PAN FOUNDATION!! - Chuck Salzer.
The Pan grants I received have saved my life. I am 75 and I have Parkinsons. After trying many types of medications to relieve very painful episodes, I was able to get Inbrija which is the only medication that gives me relief from painful "off times." Because my wife and I live on a small income there is no way I could have afforded to get Inbrija. PAN made that possible. The grants I got from PAN have literally saved my life from the awful pain and protracted "0ff times" I endure. I don't know what I would do if I could not get another grant. PAN'S grants have made my life bearable. I
thank you PAN with all my heart!
My Doctor Melvin Russell had found a new medication for Parkinson’s. My husband was having issues with tremors . He couldn’t hold a fork or anything to drink out of. The name of the medication was Nourianz 40 mg. After receiving this and after aprox 6 months his tremors stopped. Pan let him join their organization and helped to pay what his insurance wouldn’t pay. This was a great help . My husband is also fighting Cancer on the side of his face Has had two surgeries and it still came back. Just finished 32 treatments of radiation One each day Monday thru Friday. Has lost his taste and he has issues swallowing. We go back in February for test to see if the cancer is gone. He had so many issues with Parkinson’s, When he tries to walk he shuffles his feet, falls at times , doesn’t blink his eyes, surgery is planned on his left eye due the surgery because he can’t open it. So many problems. Trips to Cancer center 240 miles for one trip a week , Then second surgery 80 miles a day for once a week until he was finished. Want to thank everyone with all our heart for the kindness through all the medical help during our issues.
I've gone through a stem cell transplant to cure me of MDS cancer. As a side effect, I have GVHD,(graft vs. host disease where my skin was very tight in my arms. Thanks to the PAN foundation I was able to have acess to a medication Jakafi, a medication to combat GVHV. My skin is more plyable, I am able to streach so muh better.
Thank you The Pan Foundation for making this better.
I'm a widow that lost my husband in Nov. of 2020. His death left me a with a very limited income of my own. In Oct. of 2021 I was diagnosed with a lung tumor. This was a shock to me for never being a smoker and always taking care of my health. After surgery I was put on the cancer drug tagrisso and was told I'd have to be on it for three years. I'm so thankful for the grants I've been given for I was told the cost of this drug would be $19,00 .00 a month. I am now with a grant with the Pan Foundation receiving my monthly prescription of which I'm so grateful.
I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2008. It was slow progressing then. About four years ago, I had to go on a very expensive drug called Rytary. My doctor said that I could apply for a pan grant and maybe get some help with the Rytary. I received the grant and every year since and it has been extremely helpful for my wife and I not to have to try to pay for this drug.
I am a pastor and had to retire three years ago because the Parkinson’s disease affected my speech so badly.
Now I am in a wheelchair and it has progressed much more quickly last year.
This year I went to renew my Rytary grant and was told there were no funds available. I am on a waiting list. We pray that, this grant will open up soon as I really need the Rytary. Please help give because I really need the Rytary.
THE PAN FOUNDATION IS A GOD SEND FOR PEOPLE IN NEED OF HELP PAYING FOR EXPENSIVE AND OVER PRICED MEDICATIONS. WITHOUT THIS HELP, PEOPLE WOULD GET SICK AND DIE SOONER THAN THEY HAD TO.
I am 88 years old. The pan foundation has helped me so much. I don't have to lie at night wondering how i am going to pay for my asthma inhale each month
I can not say how it makes me feel
Love you all THANK YOU.
Living in a household with Social Security as the only source of income makes finances very difficult to manage. Medications are very expensive and due to several health issues, I take 33 different pills a day. Without the help of the Pan Foundation, I would not be able to afford all of my meds. Currently, the regime I am on is making life less stressful and keeping me feeling and doing the best I have. My doctors are well pleased I am maintaining and staying stable. I can not thank the foundation enough for its assistance.
:( SAD!!! Was diagnosed in 2014, doctor put me on Tecfidera and Ampyra. Thank you PAN for all the help with those medications. Tecfidera ended a couple years later due to the side effects. But I continued with Ampyra because it was working and working like a miracle for me. Come 2020 medicare was only covering Generics but the Generics didn't work for me. Actually Generics didn't work for me and they even made me worse because I wasn't able to walk, I felt like I had cement encased feet and legs. After being a healthy person my blood pressure went high, my weight increased about 20lbs. close to the diabetes. My health and emotional well being was going to HELL. This all happened in 2yrs of Generics! I began Jumping thru hoops for my doctor, medicare, insurance company and after several phone conversations and letters. THEY all approved me for the name brand drug Ampyra, thru 2099. After being back on it for just a year now things are so much better, I walk everyday, I excerise each day, have a better outlook each dayBUT now PAN will not allow me the Ampyra. They did last year and because of my insurance I didn't need the whole grant but this year NO AMPYRA ! Not fair I went through 2 years of HELL proving the Generic didn't work for me, and I know there are others out there. Why if it doesn't cost any more than the grant why can't we choose what we put in our bodies.
When I was diagnosed with CLL, the healthcare costs seemed prohibitive. However, my doctor was able to connect me with the PAN Foundation. It was wonderful to find that I qualified for their assistance, and together with my own insurance, I was able to receive the chemotherapy medication with no co-pay. It's truly been a gift!
I am very grateful to PAN for their help as it has allowed me to be on the meds I need for MS. It is called your co-pay but it is more like a monthly mortgage. Thank you PAN for being there when I needed you.
i am very thankful for this organization for we are retired and there was no way we could afford the medication that I now have to take the chemo caused great side affect, the medication that pan has helped us with is a gift so we are greatful thank you so very much.
I have been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. Without the financial help I receive from the PAN Foundation, I would not be able to receive the newest and best drugs available for this disease. They are a God send for me. Everyone I have encountered at PAN Foundation has been helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
They were, by far, one of the best nonprofits that I spoke with.
They were:
easy to work with.
Good instructions.
very timely in response.
Thank goodness for PAN Foundation!
I have chronic lymphocytic leukemia and am being treated with Imbruvica, a pharmeceutical with a retail cost of approximately $13,500 per month. I am retired, with Medicare and supplemental insurance, but my annual copay for the drug would still be about $20,000. The PAN Foundation grants I have received during the past four years have covered most of this cost. This has enabled me to live a full life, not tied down by debt. The PAN Foundation is my hero.
Because of the PAN Foundation I can afford my living expenses. I am eternally grateful for the help and assistance they have provided to me through their grant program. I do not know what I would do without their help.
Your foundation has saved me. I needed one year of immune therapy for a malignant melanoma, which looked nothing like the pictures you see , I was stage 3, I could never ever have afforded this medicine. I am above thankful for them…. Above thankful.
I am now done that treatment and I am haveing test regularly and hopefully it won’t come back. I also had lymph nodes remove.
❤️❤️❤️
I have diabetes, a heart condition, and Parkinson' Disease and both my wife and I on Social Security. One of my medications for Parkinson's is so expensive that we cannot afford the copay. Thanks to Pan I am able to get this medication. When I started on this medication, I was on 1 insurance and I was having to pay a $20 copay but now that I am on medicare my copay is $0. I don't know what I would do without PAN. I know I would not be able to afford this medication. If I did not have this medication, I know that I would not be able to stand or transfer by myself. My wife would have to put me in a nursing home.
So far after 4-5 months of trying we are unable to use the money granted by PAN. Every time we try we are denied. Every time I call I get different information and get told we need something else. I spent 3-4 times calling the billing company of the provider to get what they specifically told me to get from them and now they are denying it again saying it is still not specific enough. No other foundation I have dealt with in the fight against cancer with/for my spouse has been so difficult in order to use the grant. We will most likely lose the grant at this point since we are unable to get whatever they now need. The lady is not sure what that is and got rude with me. She doesn't seem to understand how frustrating this is for someone to fight cancer and battle to try to get help from a foundation that is supposed to be doing that. My question is why make it so hard? They pay for certain drugs. We get the forms saying those drugs were used and we get the forms they asked me for in the last call when that lady said that would be enough. Now those are still not enough. So far no one can tell me what would be enough and be certain since each time something else is said.. How is this helping PAN? Your instructions say to just attach an EOB if you want to get reimbursement. But that was rejected too. So the instructions on your own form are wrong.
Thank you pan foundation for helping with my copays the last couple of years it makes a big difference ta someone trying ta get by on social security the heart fund ran dry praying it gets regenerated either wa thank you all!!
Patient Access Network has been there to pay for my expensive Parkinson's Disease medications ever since I was placed on some of the expensive Parkinson's medications that my insurance will only pay a little on (not enough to matter). I know that I can turn to them for education and relative information on the disease.
Their willingness and assistance in paying my meds, which cost $8K a month over a three-month period, were extraordinary. "Thanks" don't adequately express how I feel.
Thank the people who contribute to the foundation and those who works to help us with very high cost of medicine. I am retired and live on limited income, need medicine for high cholesterol and triglycerides. Cant tolerate regular statins. Cost of the medication to replace statins is about $600. I can't afford this amount but need the meds to stay alive.
Thanks to PAN foundation for the help.
I am so grateful to the PAN Foundation for offering me once again a grant to cover my breast cancer medication. Everyone at the Foundation deserves a standing ovation for their generosity and dedication.
PAN Foundation is God sent. Copays for my MS medication for one month is what many people pay for rent every month. Thanks to PAN for helping the average person. Bless you!
Several months ago my oncologist recommended that I add a new Med to my treatment plan. The goal is to find a drug with fewer side effects than the drug I have been taking for 14 years. The downside of his suggestion is he cost of this new pharmaceutical. Overwhelmingly expensive and well beyond a price I could afford. The Doctor said Florida Cancer Associates has a foundation that could help.
I feel extraordinarily blessed to be able to get my meds through the foundation and not be put in a terrible financial position.
Every single individual I have had contact with has been exceptionally kind and caring and concerned with my well-being.
It is impossible to express
the impact they have had on my life.
Thank you all!!!

Whenever I need assistance of any kind they are always there. You can hear the "smile" in their voices. I have a difficult time with tech. so I call often to get help in signing on to my patient portal, changing my password, whatever the case may be. They are always patient with me as I struggle to type or do whatever they instruct me to do.
The end of the year and beginning of the year are very stressful. That is the time you have to choose medical coverage and drug coverage. After stressing over choosing the right drug plan then you have to worry about being able to afford the specialty medication you are on. I have been very blessed that PAN has been there for me. I have been able to obtain a grant to get me started this new year. It may only last for a few months but it is better than going without the medication. I have multiple sclerosis and the drug costs are just extremely high so the help I get from the PAN foundation is extremely important and much appreciated. PAN is a wonderful group of caring and patient people. The work they do to help everyone get needed
medications is invaluable!!!
I am so grateful for the Pan Foundation. I’m on a very expensive drug for genetic cholesterol which I could not have without this wonderful foundation. The vetting process was easy and fast. The people I worked with were so kind, knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely share this information to others like me who are living on social security.
Pan has been a great help with my Hep C liver disease. They helped me stay alive and out of a heptic coma buy providing assistance so I could get Xifaxan to keep my disease in check. For some reason this year they stopped covering Xifaxan for my disease. Why? I know there are others. God help me.

I was diagnosed with Small Lymphatic Lymphoma in August. I am a 20 year Ovarian Cancer survivor, so I'm not new to this! After waiting a month on authorization from insurance, I was told my co-pays would be $2800.00 a month. I don't make $2800.00 a month. I had told my daughter's that I just wasn't gonna take treatment because of the cost. Optum RX turned it over to their financial people who contacted your foundation. Instantly I was approved by Pan Foundation. Thank God for your help and truly I feel you have saved my life( or at least are in the process of saving it as I am now in treatment).
I am so Grateful for the Pan Foundation. They were of extreme help to me with my Very Expensive Entresto. It's a medicine that I Have to take for my Congestive Heart Failure that orherwise I could not afford on my own. I don't know what I'd do without their help. So Thank You "PAN" from the bottom of my heart ❤
I was on my Parkinson's medication for 20 years and could no longer use it. The new med, Rytary, was unaffordable. It took almost my whole monthly disability aafter insurance! Thanks to PAN I was able to pay the co-pay and get om relief fro my trempors! I don't know what I would do if I ever lost their support!
I was first diagnosed with Prostate cancer almost 2 1/2 years ago. After 43 radiation treatments and hoping I had "licked it," it showed back up . . .along with it spreading to a
couple of lymph nodes. I am now doing another 30 radiation treatments and taking abiraterone, dexamethasone and a "once a quarter" shot of Eligard. I was awarded a grant from PAN to help with the cost of the drug abiraterone, which I take daily . . . and the help has been "smooth and seamless." I am currently in the process of reapplying for a continuation of that grant.
Without the financial help from the Pan Foundation my husband could not have the medicine he needs for his Parkinson's disease. They truly are a blessing to us.
I am super-grateful to have financial assistance from PAN Foundation for my immunotherapy drug for lymphoma. Can't imagine if I had to pay the co-pay for this drug, which retails at $18,000/month (per pharmacy). Part D Medicare is also wonderful. My hope is that someday I can be healthy without needing this drug. Thank you PAN Foundation!
I have asthma and take an asthma maintenance medication. I retired and I now have a Medicare Advantage Plan. I take quite a few medications and all of them were covered but my asthma maintenance medication was not. My copay was going to be $140. There was no way could afford this copay. I tried to work with my insurance regarding the copay, but I got no help. I felt like I was between a rock and a hard place. However, being an eternal optimist, I called my insurance one last time. This time the rep said, "Have you tried PAN?' That one short response saved my quality of life! I thought I would just have to forgo my asthma meds and hope there were no repercussions . But I contacted PAN and I got a grant to cover my $140 copay. PAN literally saved my quality of life. I told my 2 sisters about PAN and they both got grants. To let you know how wonderful PAN is, they called me to ask if I would be interested in a transportation grant. I was dumbfounded. PAN was reaching out to me, I didn't have to call them; PAN was seeking me out to offer assistance. I had spinal surgery after retiring and I had a lot of follow-up care. I couldn't take public transportation so I used a ride-share service. PAN once again came through for me with transportation assistance. And this life altering organization also has the most personable, knowledgeable and kind customer service staff. PAN is a godsend!
I have asthma and heart disease, so am on a lot medications, and every year by July I would be paying a lot of money out of pocket. My inhalers are expensive! Then a friend told me there were grants to help people like me, and maybe I would qualify. I called Medicare and this wonderful lady helped me. It wasn’t easy. She kept coming back to me saying, “can you hold on a little longer, I’m going to check another place”. Finally she found the PAN Organization. She got me a grant to help with my asthma medication! This year makes three years I have qualified for a grant. I don’t have to pay such a big amount out of pocket for my meds. I live on my social security, so this is a huge, huge help to me. Thank you, PAN Foundation! You have been a God send for me. Thank You, Thank You, from the bottom of my heart!!
This is a great blessing to me and the staff was so helpful when I most needed this help
What a wonderful service PAN is providing
I really appreciated it
Thank you so much for all you do
Being a senior with Asthma since birth, and my wife sick with a brain Tumor, and a heart condition. , and Social Security as our only income , without the help of PAN I don’t know what we would do ! Pan is helping us get through life that we could NOT do without this help. Thank you all for your care and help .
After being on Copaxone for over 22 years I was not able to continue due to my co-pays. My neurologist is at HUP and the pharmacy researchers found the PAN Foundation for me. I am very happy that I can now continue to receive this medication for my MS. As my doctor has always told me, I am proof that Copaxone works.
I am very thankful I have received this grant.
I have CLL we have been watching it for 8 years, I went for my yearly Dr. Check up my blood numbers had been going down hill for awhile. We started treatment last October. When a treatment plan was started and I found out how much my drugs were going to cost my wife and I didn’t know what we were going to do. Then drug
Advocate at my cancer center said she might be able to help. Two days later I got an e-mail from the PAN Foundation saying they were going to help pay for my drugs. Life at my house got a whole bunch better not having to worry about where the money was going to come from to pay for my drugs. The PAN Foundation has help us so that we can worry about getting better and not worry about the cost of my meds.
I am so very grateful for the PAN Foundation. I have been a recipient of grants for medications on two occasions over the past three years, medications that were far beyond my ability to pay. My disease is incurable and so the Foundation and the medications have literally extended my life.
Goodness! Where do I begin. I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer & had a complete Prostatectomy in 2014. I rebounded with no further treatments until 2020 when "it"reared its ugly head again. My PSA jumped from virtually 0 to 2.0 in 6 months then progressively climbed. I was referred to the same Oncologist my wife visited & we set a plan of action. The problem, though, was the copay. OK, I can't afford that so I won't take it. Welllll, someone at the Oncologist Office applied to PAN Foundation for me & I was approved for a minimum of a year's worth of copays for my Rx. I had never heard of PAN Foundation. In fact, I did not know there was such an organization. Many, many thanks to these wonderful folks. WOW!! I just can't say "Thank you" enough. Actually, "Thank you" is not strong enough for what they have done for me. As with everything today, the copay will probably increase in 2022. I pray that PAN will help me again. These folks are kind, considerate & always willing to help. I love'em. GS
The PAN Foundation has been a blessing to me by providing assistance with the cost of inhalers which are not covered by insurance. Without the Foundation’s assistance, the cost would be much too exorbitant to purchase.
Assistance from PAN has allowed me to start and continue treatment for advanced prostate cancer. Without their assistance on copays I would not have been able to afford the oral treatment (tablets) which are pretty much the last treatment available for my cancer. Great customer service. Waitlists. Easy to use website. They are very quick to respond to your eligibility and the amount of assistance available to help you.
The PAN Foundation has been a Godsend to me! I would not be able to afford my Breo-Ellipta Inhaler without their assistance. I will be forever grateful to this foundation.
Leslie Buckens
Amazing ! God is working through them to heal the sick . I dont think iwould be in a very healthy state if it wasn't for PAN! Since i have a rare cancer drugs are very expensive and i could not afford to pay . They are angels !
I had a not so good experience with another non profit who promised to help me but then said after a few months they were helping Covid patients and had no funding for me. God bless your organization!
The Pan Foundation is an awesome group to work with. I would not be able to pay for my medication nuplazid without this groups help. I can’t say enough good things about this group.

Pan has been there for me since I started taking standing for my metastatic prostate cancer. there has been no issues, and when they run out of funds they let me know she to do while they work of the funding issues. I am not religious, but they have been a godsend and key to extending my life time.
I’ve been happy to have the PAN Foundation helping to support my MS medication for several years. Their people are warm & friendly as well as always helpful.
Without the assistance from PAN I strongly believe I would not be alive and stable. The medication I take for my heart failure would be out of reach for me with their assistance. Their Customer Service is exceptional.
After a lengthy hospital stay, I was discharged with 20/800 vision due to ulcerated corneas. Legally blind. The miracle drug I needed to heal my corneas was very expensive. As an hourly employee, I had not worked in six months. My savings were gone and no money was coming in. After a 3-week wait, medical insurance decided they would pay, except my co-pay, which was $3,000. It would have taken months to raise that amount of money. However, PAN Foundation was recommended to financially help me. After a 15-minute conversation, I was immediately approved for the co-pay and able to receive the desperately needed medicine. Today, my eyes continue to heal and my vision is 20/40! I am very grateful to the volunteers and donors to the PAN Foundation.
I have COPD and other underlying conditions.i am very thankful for this Orgañization.
Now that I've been told what my AIC is # 132 I can still order my supplies from Walmart once again.I am able to communicate with this network. One day hopefully I will find a responsible housekeeper..In case I need more equipment after my MRI at least I know that PAN IS HERE..
THANK YOU

Ten years ago I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I underwent surgery and returned to normal life. But a few years ago I needed a harmonic therapy using expensive drugs (Eligard and Prolia).
I get injections every six months. The PAN program helps me pay for this treatment. Many thanks. I am a pensioner now and this is very important for my budget.
But there is a small problem: my treatment requires an interval of six months, and the program requires partial use of the allocated money every three months. A conflict arises.
Adjust the rule of payment of the money allocated by the program according to the implementation of the prescribed treatment, please.
I am Parkinson’s patient, taking medications cost me a lot every year. I found PAN Foundation from the internet, with trying attitude of the heart, I registered and applied for the grant , which is approved immediately, I am so happy and very appreciated it ! The PAN Foundation is very organized nonprofit organization, all service members from employees to CEO are very nice and more efficient to client ! I am very lucky to be benefited from this nonprofit organization!
The PAN Foundation has been invaluable in providing assistance to help me afford my prostate cancer medication. Without them, I don’t know what I would have gone. Their portal is extremely easy to navigate and the people on the phone lines are so nice and helpful. Bless them!
I'm living with stage 4 small cell lung cancer, while on social security disability which means very little money. Ihave went through my savings but the co-pays continue. Thanks to PAN I have breathing room in my budget, they pick up my immunotherapy copay and they help with my transportation to the doctor freeing up my mind from money worries. Thanks so very much.
Caring, generous and effective! In addition to the financial support, the phone help has been excellent.
I am so grateful to Pan for providing my Asthma in hailer cost. The cost was way beyond what I could afford. This organization has relieved a lot of stress for this lady. You are doing so much to bless so many. Thank you.
I have osteoporosis and get twice-a-year injections of Prolia. My copay is $500 each time and PAN covers this for me when they have the funds. This is such a blessing for me, a retired teacher who taught 40 years in Title I schools. I wouldn't be able to get these shots without the wonderful help from PAN.
I wasn’t sure what I was going to do when I was diagnosed with MS and discovered that medication to slow the progression of this disease was close to $90,000 a year. That doesn’t count the other meds I take to address the symptoms. Just battling the disease was stressful enough, the cost of treatment was overwhelming. Being on Medicare disqualifies you for drug company assistance programs. Medicare only partially pays for medications, so even the copays were out of reach. Thankfully I heard about PAN. The day I called I was treated with respect and dignity. When I learned I had received a grant to assist with the copays, I literally sat and cried tears of disbelief and joy for 15 minutes! The help I receive from PAN makes treatment possible. Without them, my physical abilities and quality of life would be very different then what they are today.
unexpected out of pocket outpatient treatment expenses post bladder cancer surgery dealt a heavy blow to my social security minimal income in 2020,and my urologist was recommending 2 more years of this treatment to prevent cancer reestablishing post surgery.Desperately needed assistance to continue treatment and found and qualified for help from PAN.As a 70 year old techno toddler, the service representatives were always compassionate, patient and understanding in helping me navigate the health care system.Great effective work is being done here, very appreciative for the rescue.
PAN has supported my purchase of Imbruvica for several years over and above my expectations. It is easy to apply online for aid and only minimal information is needed. The organization worked with my pharmacy to get me set up and brought my payments down to $0. They even provided support after my initial funding ran out during last year.
It is daunting enough to be diagnosed with leukemia, let alone being faced with fantastically high drug charges. PAN aid has been insupportstrumental in keeping my mental and financial health on an even keel. I deeply appreciate their support and highly recommend this foundation!
I was diagnosed with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer in 2009. It was inoperable due to the location in the lung. I started receiving radiation and chemotherapy. I received a billing statement from the treatment facility for a very large amount of money so I talked with a financial person at the facility. She helped me get financial help through the PAN Foundation. This financial help helped to relieve the stress and anxiety of the billing and the subsequent payments going forward. This invaluable help gave the opportunity to keep my mind in a positive place. I did bet that first diagnosis. I was diagnosed two more times in the 5 years after that and the Pan Foundation helped me with financial support. Two years ago I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). The Pan Foundation had some monies available to help with the treatment costs. Once again it was such a relief to know that I could count on the Pan Foundation once again. My thanks go to the Pan Foundation for peace of mind that I can once again receive my treatments so that I can conquer this diagnosis.
In 2020, I was diagnosed with e-asthma and was in need of the drug called, Nucalla, one injection a month which cost over $3000 per injection. With my insurance, that brought it down to approximately $900.00. This was devastating to us because my husband and I both are on Medicare and could not afford this, but at the same time I could not breath and desperately needed this medication. We hear about the Pan Foundation and applied for assistance. Thank God, they responded and paid for my medication. I am very thankful for what they have done to help me as well as others.
I have Parkinson's. I've had a difficult time finding a medication that comtrols my tremors, rigid muscles, and imvoluntary leg movements. Rytary works best and my doctor has worked with me to help me find the best dosage for me. Rytary has helped me have a better quality of life. Without the assistance of the patient access network association i wouldbe unable to afford rytary. I struggle now and without it I would have a very poor quality of life. Their financial help has changed my life. -Michael Carnell
my husband and i are on a limited income( social security income)and we have a medicare advantage plan/the co pays for some of our medication is high/i searched online for ways to lower our drug costs/i looked up the drug company that manufactures one of the meds i take and called the number listed/they had a program for one of my meds but not my husband/they gave me phone numbers of other places that might help/one of these phone numbers was to the pan foundation/i called and they had a program for my husband that would pay his co pay on one of his meds/there was a waiting list but he got in quickly and now whenever we go to his drugstore to refill this med we do not have the expense of a high co pay/we will have to renew every year but it is so worth it/it would be nice if they could offer this program for all drugs
I was unable to afford a very expensive drug prescribed for my ulcerative colitis. PAN made it possible to get three months supply. I had just stop purchasing it as the price was so unaffordable. The rescue me an McAfee a way. Very thankful.
Because of the financial help I am able to cure LCC - Cancer, other wise it wound not be possible. Thanks very very much.
I love the PAN Foundation as they have helped me so much in big ways saving me money in many ways.
I receive a grant yearly for Parkinson’s medication costing me nothing for 1 of my meds where out of pocket is nothing.
Second is a Travel Card where I can use it for traveling to and from appointments, flight and hotel if needed.
I am amazed how every so often there are more options for helping, thank you PAN!!
Some of my medications were very expensive, and it was a relief when PAN agreed to pay for my Breo. It has made a huge difference in my financial outlook. I appreciate the help very much. Thank you!
The medication that was recommended for me after my lung cancer surgery costs over $3,000/month. This year my husband is losing the pension from his former employer, which means we would have to cover our expenses from our retirement savings.
The grant from the PAN foundation was a godsend. The people we talked to on the phone were very polite and respectful. They were very helpful in explaining the enrollment, how to apply for a grant, and even helping us with an internet browser issue.
When we received confirmation that the grant had been awarded, we could not believe our luck and good fortune! The people at the PAN foundation are outstanding and we will never forget how they helped us at this difficult time.
I have prostate cancer in I need to take this medicine daily cost $7000 a year and was not covered by my insurance I apply with Pan for a Grant in got approved within 20 minutes. Bank you Pan you are a lifesaver . May God be in everybody's corner in my position
I was experiencing a prolonged asthma exacerbation that required inhaled steroids. My insurance would not cover $220 for a one month supply. I am retired and living solely on my social security. Rent had recently increased. I could not afford the medication for one month let alone as a monthly recurring medication. Alternative medications that would be more affordable were not available. The doctor's office and pharmacy could not suggest any alternative medications or any sources for assistance. I am not eligible for SSI. I was searching the internet for some source for financial assistance for this medication when I discovered PAN Foundation. I didn't know if I would qualify but I completed their forms. I had nothing to lose. To my relief I was approved that same day. After providing the pharmacy with the necessary information, I picked up my medication the following morning. It is now two and a half months later and my asthma is well controlled. The shortness of breath and incessant coughing are gone. Without PAN Foundation I would not have been able to afford the medication and would still be struggling to breathe and coughing constantly. I cannot thank the people at PAN Foundation enough.
Pan Foundation helped me obtain my prescription medication. There assistance was crucial to my health and well being. Thank you so much.
I was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia in 2013 but showed no real symptoms for about 5 years. After 8 months of intermittent illness and hospitalization, I was prescribed a targeted medicine, but without PAN's assistance, I could never have been able to afford my CLL medications. I am very grateful for PAN's presence in my health care regime. I can honestly say they are responsible for adding years to my life expectancy with this disease. I can return to living a normal life once this pandemic is over. Thank you to PAN!
The PAN Foundation has assisted me in medical expenses for my Stage 4 colon cancer chemo treatments for last year and this year. Chemo treatments every other week have put me and my wife into a financial burden with out of pocket expenses. The help we have received from PAN has helped tremendously! Anytime I have spoken to someone, they have been so helpful! Thank you so much to PAN Foundation!
It was a great shock when I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, to learn that it had already spread to many parts of my skeleton and soft tissues. At first I could manage the costs of the prescription drugs, but when it was time for Provenge, the cost was more than we could handle, given our total support for an adult ill daughter. The PAN foundation came through with a grant to cover my expensive meds; it essentially extended my life. I and my family are full of gratitude to PAN.
Richard Arden Slotter
Without PAM assistance, I would not have been able to receive a top-rated drug for
my cancer.
My application for assistance was handled with efficiency and care.
PAN Foundation has been literally a tremendous help to me. They have help me during the most critical time of my life, unexpected Cancer diagnosis, by standing on the gap of my medical needs and giving me the opportunity to continue fighting. They are courteous, attentive and always staying in touch giving encouragement and information. Thank you PAN Foundation.
Jesus Gonzalez
They helped me pay for my MS medication. It is extremely expensive but you have to have it. I am very grateful to to organization.
Praise the Lord for this PAN nonprofit! It has allowed my husband to have the ultimate care with his advanced cancer. There is no way we could afford the medication as well as the immunotherapy he has had. And when you think that treatment was difficult to have because of travel to areas where you need to be, they are right there to help with that as well. It is more than we knew to ask for, handled so well by great, caring people.
I Was Going through Difficulties Paying For Things I Truly Needed.I Heard About the Pan Foundation and Called And Got Immediate Assistance. They Were Truly Helpful in My Time Of Need And I Will Forever be Grateful.Thank You!!!
I’ve had prostate cancer now for a little over ten years now and with the help of some great doctors as well as others in the medical community, we’ve been able to keep it under control. However, a few months ago when my PSA level started to increase, I felt depressed and wondered if this was the beginning of the end. But again, with the help of my physician and especially the Pan Foundation, my PSA level is now where it’s suppose to be. So in closing I would like to thank everyone who is connected to the Pan Foundation for your help in making it possible to get the medication I needed to fight this terrible disease.
Yours truly,
Ron A
I have cancer and my medication cost 12.000 a month with out penn help I would loose my life. I owe them my life. Thank you for all you do
I have two types of cancer: non-hodgkins lymphoma and prostate. Both are incurable. Both require me to take oral chemotherapy on an ongoing basis. Even with Part D Medicare, my combined out of pocket expenses for these drugs would be over $1,000 per MONTH without the financial assistance I am getting.
PAN is an amazing organization that provides me with significant assistance that requires virtually nothing on my part except a simple application. I am continually astonished at the amount of aid they provide me and how little they ask in turn. PAN has had a significant impact on my financial situation and I am deeply grateful for their assistance. PAN is the best.
When my husband was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer, we were told that his cancer was "treatable but not curable." We soon learned that his cancer was treatable at very great cost. We are fortunate that his cancer has been well controlled by Xtandi for six years. And we are very fortunate that the PAN Foundation has helped us pay for the Xtandi. PAN is helping save my husband's life! Thank you.
My wife has been taking medication for her Parkinson's Disease but a new formula became available. The co-pay was going to be significant and hard to pay.
The PAN Foundation was suggested and we applied. We were treated with respect and the people were very helpful.
We received a grant for a full year of copayments. We were able to set it up with our provider for them to bill PAN directly which was unexpected and very convenient.
They did a great job for us.
At age 63 I was diagnosed with a rare MPN called essential thrombocythemia when i had routine labs and my platelets over 1 million. After struggling taking hydroxyurea for four years with chronic bronchitis and painful mouth ulcers, I joined a support group and learned about pegasys interferon alpha 2a treatment. If it wasnt for being accepted into PANs program, I wouldn't be able to afford this transforming treatment. Not only have I not been sick in spite of compromised immune system, but my regular labs are nearly all in normal range. Thanks to PAN and peg interferon, my platelets also have returned to normal range for the first time. At my age, now 69, I cant imagine dealing with the challenges of my disease without the support of the wonderful helpful people at PAN!
The support staff at my Doctor's medical practice were aware of how difficult it is financially for me regarding certain drugs for the treatment of advanced prostate cancer. They helped my with the PAN Foundation and I feel blessed to have affiliated with PAN.
John Schoenauer
At 87 and with cancer I would have gone without the needed medication that slows down the progression of my cancer had it not been for the generous help from this PAN foundation.
I will forever be thankful for their help.
Eleanor Gagnon
when I first found out I had cancer I was in denial. Then when I found out the cost of the medication I didn't think we could afford to get it. I was told about the PAN FOUNDATION which helped me and my family greatly
Thanks again for your help
Ernest Guttman
I can’t speak, for others, but I know that, I would not be able to get the medication, that my cancer requires.
“THANK YOU “
Patient Access Network Foundation has changed my life. Seventy-one years old and suffering from hypokalemia, a kidney disorder. I'm suffering from stage 4 CKD & have been able to barely make ends meet financially on social security. PAN Foundation has helped me to purchase my very costly prescription under 2 generous grants over the years. Without this assistance id be going without medication I badly need. I've called a number of times and love your caring and very efficient staff. I'm even signing in online now. I've spoken to Dwayne who provides exceptional & knowledgable help. Your other staff is so compassionate and informative - I thank God every day for PAN's great assistance providing me with necessary lifesaving medicine.
For those who are generous to give I suggest PAN as a lifesaving compassionate option.
I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
The Pan Foundation has assisted me with medication that I couldn't have afforded on my own.
My health issues could have exceeded to a very unhealthy situation with the possibility of death.
My experience with PAN has been excellent! I have been taking a drug that is a Category 5 drug under Medicare. Each month I face a large out-of-pocket expense due to the significant portion of the drug that is not covered under Medicare. I would fall in the "Medigap", which would mean thousands of dollars expense to pay the remaining portion of the d rug costs. Thank you for your willingness to help by paying this significant cost! I will almost certainly face this expense for the rest of my life due to the need to take the drug I'm on or one similar to it.
I was unable to afford all the medicines I needed to take for heart failure. The nurse at the clinic told us about the PAN foundation. We applied are we are now able to get the medicine I needed for this year. Thank you to so many people the give to the PAN foundation and make it possible for me to continue with my treatments!!! You are such a blessing to me and my family!
The PAN Foundation has literally saved my life! There is no way I could afford the copays for my expensive cancer medication, so I say, with all my heart, thank you, PAN Foundation for your help!
Thanks to the PAN Foundation's generous financial help, I am alive today. I have Leukemia (CLL) and with the Pan Foundations generous help I have been able to afford two miracle drugs which cost over $1,000 a month. I will be forever grateful to PAN for their generosity, understanding and kindness. The PAN Foundation sets the mark for what a nonprofit should strive for in meeting their stated mission. Thank you PAN!
There is no way I could afford my PD meds without the assistance of The Pan Foundation. I am forever grateful for their help in controlling this relentless disease.
I am one of thousands who needed medication that was way too expensive for my budget. I was told about this foundation and was amazed at receiving the assistance. I am so very grateful for this program; to those who contribute, a huge thank you!
The application process was simple and response immediate. However first time out my fund closed quickly. Just in the nick of time I received an email informing me my fund had reopened. I immediately tried to reapply had some difficulty on line but called and was assisted by a bright, pleasant young lady who assisted me in completing new app. Within days I was notified I had received my funding and was over joyed. It has been a simple experience in getting my much needed medication through my local pharmacy and they accepted my information from PAN and voila! My meds! Thank you forever grateful.
I have no idea where I would be or even alive without PAN.
I have been asthmatic since I was 4 years old. So asthma has had control of me for 60 years. I was told you will outgrow it, if you loss weight it would go away. But nothing ever changed, I am on more medicine than ever before. I cannot afford my medication and I have PAN to thank. It is a wonderful foundation. I wish it covered some of my other medications. Some companies refuse you if have any drug coverage. I love the PAN Foundation!
A PAN grant has helped to lift a financial burden from my shoulders. Every three months, I have to refill an expensive prescription to keep my Parkinson's Disease from severely affecting my ability to function normally. Medicare pays for most of it, but I am left with a copay of $125. The grant covers that cost for which I am grateful.
I am honored and very grateful for your help. I am a severe asthmatic and disabled. The co-pays for my inhalers are in excess of $350 monthly!
I would not be able to buy groceries without your help, thank you from the bottom of my heart, God Bless
PAN Foundation came through for me when I needed it most. In 2018, I had health issues that almost ruined my kidneys. I now have to deal with hyperkalemia, or a high potassium condition that can be very harmful if not kept in check. The thing that helps most is a potassium blocker that is very expensive, and I am a senior on a fixed income. But PAN Foundation came to the rescue and has helped cover the cost of the treatment and has literally helped to safely contain my hyperkalemia condition. I am truly grateful for the help they have given me. They do good things to help people in need. How cool is that?
Without the help with from the Pan Foundation I am not sure how I could afford all of these specialty meds. I have CKD stage 4 and thanks to the Pan Foundation My CKD is doing ok. I recently had a cardiac arrest and it almost wiped out my kidney function but thanks to the Pan foundation I still have my kidneys. The medication they help me with is very helpful.
I was diagnosed with hepatitis c I had blue cross blue shield. But this still left me with a co-pay that was way out of my income each month. I would not have been able to get through the treatment had it not been from the support I got from the pan foundation. Today I’m cured of hep c. I’m truly grateful for the support of the pan foundation. Larry Cooper.
When I was found to have critical levels of potassium in my blood, I was put on Veltassa immediately. Since I am retired with limited income, and being on other expensive medicines, I didn't know what to do. I talked to my nephrologist regarding dropping some medicines but was referred to a Walgreen pharmacy who brought the PAN foundation to my attention. It was a godsend to have the help of this organization in meeting my medical requirements. I will always be indebted to that foundation for their invaluable assistance.
I was diagnosed with MS almost 4 years ago and needed medication. This medication is very expensive but I had private insurance and was able to get my medication at no cost through a program that the pharmaceutical company had. When I went on Medicare, that support was gone. Enter the PAN Foundation. I was able to continue with my medication without compromising my health. If I had to pay for my medication, I would have to decide between eating, utilities or even staying in my home. PAN Foundation has stepped up to help and I am forever grateful.
PAN has been a godsend. Without PAN I would not be able to get my life saving factor because I cannot pay my insurance premium. I’m a student and of course not able pay for it.
I don’t know what I would do with the assistance of PAN
I've been told my CML medicine would cost over $100,000 a year. Who can afford that?! I thank God for PAN. I live an almost completely normal life but I would not survive without those meds. Thank you PAN!
After being diagnosed with Breast Cancer in late 2019, I needed treatment that I couldn't afford. I am disabled and on a fixed income, but an income not low enough to qualify for extra help. My insurance is " bottom of the barrel" and covers the bare minimum. I needed financial assistance from the hospital just to have my two surgeries. At the same time I was losing my eyesight to cataracts....I was completely blind in my right eye and starting to lose the sight in my left eye as well...but I needed Radiation Treatment and they wouldn't perform my cataract surgeries until my RT was finished. I needed help with transportation to and from my treatments...by mass transit it was six trains each day for 15 treatments and three other visits for CT scans, tattooing, etc. Since I couldn't see, especially when it became dark, i couldn't take the trains...I called the American Cancer Society, because they claim, even in their recording when you call, that they help with that...well, they refused to help and actually said, "We don't help Everyone"...I told them they might want to add that little bit of info to their recording and fundraising sites. I then called Cancer Care, who connected me with their supervisor...who personally turned me down, but unlike the ACS, she wished me good luck! This was all happening as they were discussing the Pandemic and possibility of a Quarantine lockdown. I maxed out the only small credit card I have for the transportation to my treatments and doctor's visit to ok my cataract surgery for my right eye, which finished the day the quarantine was declared...my second eye had to wait...but by this time, I was out of money anyway with no way of covering my extensive upcoming transportation needs, especially during the pandemic, such as my second eye surgery, which now included testing for COVID-19 beforehand....and follow ups, my 6 month mammogram and ultrasound, my follow ups with breast surgeon, radiologist, oncologist and primary care doctor and blood work every three months and yearly MRI and bone density tests, my cardiologist visit and yearly Echo and stress test and unexpectedly, emergency oral surgery at the end of the year....three dental visits with the surgery taking place on my Birthday!...a week before Christmas!...However, there was a small miracle...I received an email telling me about a grant that would cover transportation and I applied and was so shocked when I was approved...it was truly a life saver, especially now that my cancer meds make it difficult to walk. I pray I can apply for and receive this grant again as I have to continue these treatments and visits over and over again. I don't know what will happen going forward, but I know I wouldn't have made it this far without help from the Pan Foundation. Thank you.
Above and beyond, PAN was allowed us to continue life. The support I have gotten is fantastic. Cannot say enough to express the help and people that made this happen. My cancer drug was so expensive that we would have had a major life change ahead of us. Please continue to support this foundations work.
I can't say enough how wonderful this organization has been to me. Without you I would not be able to afford my cancer medication. Thank you all so much!
in 2020 i was told i had HCV , The meds needed for this virus was very expense something i could never afford . Thanks to PAN and there help I was able to get the meds I needed for my treatment . Now in 2021 I needed another coarse of treatment and again they were a great help. I am so grateful for this foundation
I am very grateful for the Pan Foundation it was and still is a very stressful issue for me with my Crohn’s disease Pan Foundation Helped me a great deal And I am very grateful for their future support
When we learned that I needed to take a very, very expensive medication to treat my cancer, I was literally facing the decision to spend all we had saved and then face bankruptcy or allow the cancer to just run its course. When PAN agreed to a grant to fund of my medication, it was like my life was given back to me. Thank you PAN from the bottom of my heart!
Without the support of the PAN Foundation I would be either dead or broke or both. Working with the PAN Foundation has made my life full and productive. Their staff and website are easy to work with so that all of my needs are met.
Congratulations to the PAN Foundation and their staff and supporters !!!!
Nelson Stover, Prostate Cancer patient
I have been a patient of Metastatic Breast Cancer. My prescription drug Ibrance requires continued copay support for maintaining this essential treatment. PAN foundation has provided grants time and again for 2 years. I realize shortage of donors has led them to stop taking my application in the most recent instance. I plead all the donors to continue giving money to this excellent organization so that they can continue their noble work. THANK YOU PAN.
After being laid off for over a year due to the pandemic, I informed my insurance company I could not afford my medication. They put me in touch with this most outstanding non profit organization. Thank you so much
My Oncologist prescribed a medication that I cannot afford. With the help of the Pan Foundation I was able to get this life saving medication.
We feel very blessed that this company funds us the medication has given my husband his independence back after PARKINSONS has made it difficult to enjoy our golden years.
Since receiving the diagnosis of CANCER I was very fearful of the disease and the cost associated with it! I am so very thankful that the PAN foundation awarded me with funding covering the very expensive drug of Erleada required for 2 years . This certainly has helped me to make it through this trying time..I am so very thankful for the PAN foundation
I have Parkinson's and would not be able to afford the medication that my doctor recommended if not for the Foundation. The medication allows me to have a fairly normal life. How can you put a price on that? It means everything to me.
Being diagnosed in 20119 with MS, I was at a loss. After my neurologist informed me of my condition, I was faced with lifetime medication options. Little to my surprise the medication he was subscribing Tecfidera cost $ 980.00 through my medical insurance. My neurologist having many years of experience with MS treatment was able to get me on the Pan Foundation list. I am receiving foundation help and my co-pay is $0, without this help, God knows if I would be alive. Please support the Pan Foundation in all their efforts, thank you.
When my doctor put me on Imbruvica I blanched at my co pay! In the beginning I managed to pay but the cost continues to raise. If it wasn’t for Pan Foundation I would not be able to stay on this drug They are wonderful.
The PAN FOUNDATION. WHAT CAN I SAY? WORDS CAN NOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH GRATITUDE I HAVE IN MY HEART FOR THIS ORGANIZATION. I HAVE USED THE TRANSPORTATION FUNDS FOR THE 2ND YEAR NOW AND IT PROVIDED LIVE SAVING -MUCH NEEDED TRANSPORTATION FUNDS TO GET ME TO THE CANCER CENTER! THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME! I am writing this with tears in my eyes thinking about how GRATEFUL I AM TO THE PAN FOUNDATION. THE REPS ARE CARING AND SHOW YOU THAT. I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN A BAD REP WHEN I CALLED. THEY WERE PATIENT WHILE I ASKED MY QUESTION NO MATTER WHAT IT WAS. I LOVE THE PAN FONDATION!
Without PAN I could not afford my treatment for CLL. The cost of my Imbruvica is over $14,000 per month! I am so thankful for my grant. It helps Medicare pay for the cost of treatment.
I can not Thank this foundation enough for all the help they gave my husband and I during his treatment We could not have done it with out their help.
Thank You
Mrs. Betty Anne Mitterway
Your foundation helped save my life. I couldn't have afforded the medication without your intervention. Thank You

Thank you for your kind note. Wishing you all the best!
Four years ago I had open heart surgery to repair my mytrial valve. I later found out that I would be on heart meds for the rest of my life. One of the required drugs was Entresto which was a new drug that was recently approved by the FDA at the time. Being a new drug, it was very expensive & was not sure if I could afford it. I needed to take it twice a day. My doctor told me about the PAN Foundation and with there grants, I have been on this drug since.
Needless to say that PAN was a God-send and they probably saved my life. I am forever grateful to them.

Thank you so much for your kind words! Wishing you all the best.
The PAN Foundation is a hero in my life. I have MS that’s well managed by an injectable med. After being pushed early onto Medicare as a result of collecting my SS for disability, my copay for that med rose from $50 to $2290, monthly. Yes, monthly. That amount is simply impossible for this freelance writer to afford. It’s far more than my mortgage payment... so my choice became 1) be homeless to pay for my med... or, stop my effective medication that’s preventing serious physical disability and remain home, alone and disabled. Yikes, right?
When PAN accepted me for a grant, that changed my life immeasurably. Knowing I could keep a roof over my head AND take my meds that forestall full scale disability was like finding the secret to independent living.
My heart goes out to the many people who struggle with choosing between poverty or disability or worse. I know there are many who carry that worry around 24/7 with no relief in sight. Pricey drugs DO work... but only if patients can afford them.
The word blessing is overused, but in my case I’m blessed by PAN every day I’m not in a wheelchair or homeless. PAN truly holds the key to my quality of life. I’m ceaselessly grateful for the aid. And hope others who are locked into untenable health situations can know the same comfort PAN has granted me.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your story! We are so glad we were able to help!
As I was visiting my neurologist one day, I was told that my medication for Parkinson's needed to be changed. I immediately thought how was I going to afford it. Luckily, I was introduced to the Pan Foundation and they gave me a grant. Thanks to this foundation for the financial assistance and am now able to control my symptoms.

I'm a 73 year old male that was diagnosed with ATTRwt Amyloidosis in June 2019. My cardiologist immediately prescribed Vyndaqel/Vyndamax, which is a stabilizer drug from Pfizer. Thankfully I have a good prescription policy since the cost of the drug is over $18,000 a month. I was still left with a copay of around $900 a month. For the 1st 6 months I paid the copay out of my monthly Social Security check. My patient advocate at NYU Langone was constantly looking for a fund that could help. In March of this year she alerted me that funds from the PAN Foundation had opened up and I received a 6 month grant to cover the copay. This has been a tremendous help to me and my family. I can't say enough good things about the service they provide. Thank You

Thank you so much for your kind words! Wishing you the best!
The PAN Foundation has been a wonderful resource to help me pay for my Copaxone injectable medication for my Multiple Sclerosis. The cost of the drug was more reasonable with the Shared Solutions assistance program for many years but then I turned 65 in 2018 and no longer qualified for that assistance. Since this drug is over $6000 per month, the PAN Foundation has made me able to continue this wonderful drug that has kept my MS very stable. I was diagnosed in 1991 and began taking injectable medications in 1997. Without this drug, I would most likely be needing assistive devices such as cane, walker or wheelchair. Thanks for helping me to continue to be able to live life to the fullest and enjoy my family and especially my grandchildren.

Gloria, thank you so much for your kind review! We are so glad we were able to help you. Sending you the best!
Thanks to PAN Foundation I was able to get the medication I needed to control my asthma. The deductible was over $500 per month and having limited income I was going to have to forgo this medication. PAN Foundation was able to supplement my deductible until the drug manufacturer was able to qualify me for patient assistance. I will be required to use this medication Indefinitely and thanks to PAN Foundation’s assistance I was able to get the medication I needed without delay.

I am very grateful for the blessings of the copay assistance for my inhalers for my Asthma.
I have told every patient, nurse and Doctor , not to mention Pharmacists about their co pay assistance programs listed on WEBSITE.
Thank you PAN FOUNDATION

Without PAN I could not afford my CLL treatment, Imbruvica that costs $14,000/month, a $730 monthly co-pay. I am almost 80, and retired. Thank you PAN! I really appreciate you help.

Thank you for your kind review! So glad we were able to help!
I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 8/19. The recommended treatment drugs cost $14000/month, of which I was expected to pay $2300. After a couple months my drug insurance would not pay for the drug, but would cover a generic, which ONLY cost me $1300/month. These costs have varied, but have been wonderfully covered by the PAN Foundation. I will need to continue this treatment for another 9 months. The generosity of the foundation and its extremely courteous and competent staff have been a real blessing to me and my wife.

When I was first diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer my whole world changed. At first we were able to make the co pay but when a stronger chemo was needed we begin to struggle financially because of the cost related to the chemo plus shots that had to be taken. When I
asked the business office at my doctor if there was any type help I might could get. The lady
was able then to get me help through Healthwell Foundation. I was so grateful. then when my chemo treatments we over it was time to take expensive chemo pills along with shots to keep my cancer under control. The pharmacy that was to fill my prescription every month called and explained the expense of the new medicine. I was almost over whelmed with the cost that was needed as my co pay. Once again someone other than myself knew of these good foundations that help people such as myself. This time it was help through the PAN Foundation that I could get my medicine. When the first six months was over my grant from the PAN Foundation was out and it was time to fill my prescription. Through friends that had heard of help that a small organization in our county I was able to get that months co pay paid. Then with the help of the pharmacy that sends my medicine I was once again given a grant for the next six months from the PAN Foundation. I am so grateful for the help I have received from each organization. Thank you PAN Foundation for you have made a big difference in the way I can face my future.

We are saddened to hear about your Breast Cancer, but so glad we were able to help! Wishing you all the best!
My co pays just for my specialty drugs are over a thousand dollars a month. This does not include my other co pays nor the January co pay that is much more. I was getting to be non functional prior to my starting on these drugs. I have my life back thanks to these drugs and the Pan Foundation's financial help. Thank you

Madeline, we are so glad to have been able to help. Wishing you all the best!
Pan foundation has been a lifesaver for me . I’m taking a drug called Zytiga which is a cancer drug that cost about $30,000 a month my insurance company picked up part of that payment . And the co-pay left for me to pay is about three or $4000 a month . If it would not have been for pan foundation I probably would not be living today I have prostate cancer and without this medication I would be in serious trouble . Thank you pan foundation . J Binkley

I am so grateful for the PAN Foundation. PANs financial assistance has impacted my life greatly. I have multiple sclerosis (MS) and the cost of MS medication is expensive. Also, I received a COVID-19 financial assistance relief package from the PAN Foundation to relieve financial stress as it relates to food and medication during this time of uncertainty. The COVID-19 relief package has provided assistance for food and medication. PANs financial assistance and COVID-19 relief package has allowed me to focus on my health and not worry about prescription costs or food. It's nice the PAN Foundation is a resource that provides financial assistance and show support to individuals who may need assistance during this uncertain time.

Thank you so much for your message. Wishing you all the best!
PAN made a dramatic difference for me during the Covid 19 crisis. I'm a low income senior with a compromised immune system. I can't have any contact with people so I can't go to stores to shop for groceries or go to any of the food distribution programs.
Thanks to PAN, I can get no contact food delivery from my local Walmart. This has truly been a major help in my life. I could never have afforded the delivery fees!
Additionally, in the past, PAN helped me to pay my copay for my extremely expensive medicines for a chronic illness. Without PAN, I could not have afforded those life saving medicines.
PAN IS AN AMAZING ORGANIZATION!!!

I found out that I had hepc about 30 years ago. My husband was diagnosed at the same time. I wanted to try to do the interferon trial as I knew this virus was a death sentence. So my husband was against it. But my ex husband had been diagnosed and did the year long regiment and was cured. When I started this regimen in the beginning I was able to hold down a full time job. Within 3months I not only lost my job I almost lost my life. That interferon was equal to chemotherapeutic cancer medication..I lasted 3 months I can’t imagine a year. 30 years later my virus rearned its ugly head. When I was so sick I knew I had to do something. I met a doctor that specializes in hepc Dr Bob Wallace. My health insurance would not cover anything. Dr Wallace found a charity to cover the medication for 3 months I started the medication 4 days later. No side effects just a pill a day.. Happy to say after 3 months of taking the medication Mavyret I was diagnosed free of the virus and I could say that I do not have
Just wanted to thank the charities , my doctor and most of all ours Heavenly Father My husband finally saw a doctor, he died 3 days later in my arms.
I was prescribed Entresto help benefit my left ventrical disease in my heart. The medicine was out of my price range. However, PAN stepped in and made it affordable for me. Thank you very much. Bernie Beckman
I suffered with migraines, high blood pressure and arthritis pain for many years. I went to doctor after doctor trying to find the reason for all my problems. I had been going to a neurologist for several years when he decided I needed carpal tunnel surgery on my wrists. He sent me next door to a surgeon who was part of his practice to do the surgery. When this doctor saw me, he later told me he knew what my problem was. However, he ordered an MRI to confirm. Sure enough I had a pituitary tumor. This started my journey with surgery and tests for over 10 years. After 10 years, I was supposed to be in remission from this ailment. The 10th year, I again began to have symptoms and was sent to Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville where I was told I needed another surgery. During this time, I was told I had Acromegaly, which is too much growth hormone, and there was no cure. I was started on medication and this began my journey to the present. I began with one medication and now am on two. This is how Patient Access Network came into my life. These medications are beyond my ability to pay for. PAN has been a life saver for me. Without their help, I don’t know what my life would be like. The cost is astronomical and I am so appreciative of the support and the help they give. They have been there for me time after time.
I'm 66 years old and have osteoporosis! I am low income and could never afford treatment. I have a knee and hip repacement. I fell , broke pelvis in 2 places, 4 ribs. I've also fell and broke femur in half. I'm much better now that your grant has afforded me to have 4 Prolia shots in 2 years. I can't thank you enough. My bone density tests show I'm improving. Thank you so so much. Jacquelynn Lenahan
I have acromegaly. The PAN Foundation enables me to use a “best medication” which costs more than my total income. It controls my disease and allows me to minimize the complications of acromegaly. For me The PAN. Foundation is truly life saving.
I am deeply indebted to the PAN Foundation for the tremendous assistance they give me in helping me with my medical costs. I have Multiple Sclerosis and I have to take injections three times a week. The cost is prohibitive and I am not sure I could afford them without the assistance of the PAN Foundation. Thank you very much.
I am a survivor of Stage IV metastatic breast cancer. When Ibrance was first prescribed for me, I was astounded at the unbelievable cost. But the PAN Foundation stepped in and made Ibrance available to me. What a relief that was! The PAN Foundation was truly a lifesaver and made my mental health much better and allowed me to be a happier and healthier patient. I cannot say enough good things about the PAN Foundation.
I learned I have STAGE3 PROSTATE CANCER around the time we learned we were going to be Grandparents for the FIRST and ONLY GRANDCHILD. For a few days I was so excited to know that I would be a Grandfather then I realized I would never live to see our one and only Grandchild grow up graduate from any school. But then I realized I had to thank GOD I that I lived long enough to see my ONE and ONLY GRANDCHILD be born. For a while my Stage 3 Prostate Cancer seemed to respond to the treatment. We actually have been able to baby sit OUR LITTLE PRINCESS 3-4 times a month. Then a few months ago my CANCER returned with a vengeance. I wasn't going to live to see my Granddaughter's 5TH Birthday or our 50TH WEDDING Anniversary. There was a medication that could make this possible however we could NEVER afford it. I thanked the wonderful folks who treated me prepared to go home and die. They immediately said "give us a few days". In a few days we learned I qualified for assistance through PAN. PAN has made the impossible possible! I am able to receive the ONLY MEDICATION that knocked down my Prostate Cancer. In a few weeks I will have lived to celebrate my Granddaughter's 5TH Birthday and in December our 50TH WEDDING Anniversary. There are no words to express our gratitude for PAN. PAN HAS PROVIDED ME WITH THE ONLY WAY I WOULD HAVE LIVED TO SEE BOTH OF THESE CELEBRATION OF LIFE THIS YEAR. Yes CAPS can indicate shouting but I am shouting GOD BLESS PAN for giving me a new lease on life.
After an amazingly healthy life, on 1/2/17, at the age of 73, I was diagnosed with myelofibrosis. Jakifi was prescribed, and, although I had insurance that paid a little over half of the cost, I live on a fixed income and could now have afforded the copay. Without the medication, I would, in all probability, be dead by now. The fact that PAN had picked up the copay had enabled me to live a comfortable, productive life. I will be eternally grateful.
2010, I had a heart attack that put me in the hospital for 16 months. I had been coded 26 times, was in a coma for 7 months and was on a ventilator. In 2015 I moved to South Carolina and found a new lady cardiologist. After reviewing my case and her examinations of my current condition, she put me on Entresto. Being on Medicare, and have Medicare insurance my pill bills were hurting me financially. I found the PAN Foundation and they helped pay for the Entresto. I am also on SSI and can't work. PAN really, really help mehave a better life.
I am a caregiver for my husband who has Parkinson's Disease. It has been a challenge since his diagnosis 8 years ago. At first he was just a little slow walking, but over these past 7 1/2 years, it has become increasingly more difficult to find the correct medications and the dosages needed. We went to 3 different Neurologists before we found one right in our back door that convinced us to try the Duopa Pump for his medication. Very expensive.
Medicare/BCBS only covers a portion of the medication and the equipment, so we went to PAN for assistance. It took me about 20 mins to fill out the application and we received the grant in just a couple of days. We have had the pump now for about 1 month and it has really made a big difference to us. My husband can be a little more active, does not have to take oral meds 5-6 x day and I feel much better with him on the pump.
Thank you PAN for such wonderful assistance and service!
Patient Access Network has helped with my Multiple Sclerosis medicine. The medicine is so expensive. It was so easy to fill out the application and provide PAN with any additional information. The PAN employees are eager to assist you. Without aN I don’t think I would be able to get my medicine.
Previous Stories
Retired and on a fixed income, I could not have paid for my lifesaving treatment without PAN. I take an oral chemo pill (Imbruvica for CLL) that is not covered the same as IV chemo by Medicare and the supplement. Imbruvica is paid under pharmacy benefit instead of the medical.
Thank you PAN! They’ve covered the copay for several years now!
Early following my failed receptivity of medication, when heart-surgery was implemented, one of my cardiologists commented that - even though it was well documented that my chronic CHF was caused by adriamycin chemotherapy, I would be dead without it! Fast forward 2 years when Entresto was prescribed that as a senior on Social Security, alone at 80 yoa, I could not afford the medication - in any regard. Novartis put me in contact with the PAN Foundation that was the beginning of my heartfelt, deepest regard for tablet-by-tablet my life was - IS - extended! My gratefulness cannot be overly expressed!
When I was told the amount of the drug that the doctor prescribed for me, I wept, there was NO way I could afford it, or any co-pays. The staff assured me there was help available, thru PAN, and thank goodness there was, or I wouldn't have been able to fill the prescription. I am beyond grateful for the grant.
When I was diagnosed with CLL in 2007, I was told we just had to watch the numbers and that I probably would not need treatment for many years as this cancer progresses slowly. Well, two years later I was already in chemo and I was in and out of treatment until the end of 2016 at which time multiple complications made chemo no longer an option. Along came Imbruvica, the latest miracle drug fresh out of trials just in time! BUT...miracles are expensive and this drug was beyond my reach even with all the insurance I could buy. Along came PAN to pick up the difference and the miracle is...I'm still here! Thank you!

My father worked since he was a very young man, got a good education, and had a successful career. He saved, has insurance, and lived wisely, and was generous with those less fortunate. After retiring, he struggled for three years with constant medication adjustments and weekly visits to the doctor for blood work and to manage side effects of oral chemo. When the doctor recommended Jakafi, the cost was a huge worry for a fixed/retired income. It turned out that Jakafi was a perfect fit for my dad's disease without causing difficult side effects and constant fear of getting so anemic that he needed a blood transfusion, or having blood get too thick and causing a stroke. We are so very grateful for the PAN foundation for their assistance so that my father can get the medication needed to keep him alive. He is otherwise healthy and lives a happy productive life. I don't know where he'd (or we'd) be without PAN's help. Thank you.
Review from Guidestar
The PAN Foundation has been helping me with co-pays for my Xolair injections, which have helped me deal with severe asthma. The injections are very expensive, and my co-pay is well over $200 for treatment every 30 days. Given all my other medical expenses, this would be unaffordable if not for the PAN Foundation. They are heroes in my book!
Truly a Godsend, I would never be able to afford the copay for my MS medication without the help of PAN. Being on disability has put a strain on income and the insurance coverage to cover prescription costs. Thank You PAN.
PAN helped me and my family so very much with my oral chemo treatments. I don't know what we would have done without their help. We are forever grateful!!! Thank you.
They were great at helping me pay on a very expensive drug that if it hadn't been for them, I would've had to do without. They are so very helpful and caring.
We were notified by email that funds were available and applied the same day and thank God we were approved immediately. My wife’s job was just eliminated and this was a Godsend. Everyone I have talked to at your organization has been very helpful also. I have MS and Parkinsons and don’t know what we would do without you. Thank you again so much.
I was newly diagnosed with polycythemia Vera and my oncologist prescribed Jakafi. My insurance approved the drug but the copay would be $1,500.00 per month for 60 pills. When the specialty pharmacy gave me this information I told her I couldn’t afford to pay. She asked me some financial questions and said she would see if she could find a grant to help me. Thirty minutes later she calls me back in disbelief to tell me the PAN foundation would cover my co-pay. The news brought tears of relief and joy because I prayed to God for help and he gave me your foundation. I am ever so thankful for his divine intervention and your generosity! I am blessed each day I live . Thank you for your kindness!
I went through Hep C treatment in 2014. I have private insurance but the medicine for Hep C treatment falls into our Tier 3 prescription plan and it is VERY expensive. I am a working mother with 2 kids. Without the hell of PANF, there is absolutely no way that I could have afforded the treatment that I needed. They helped lift the financial burden, and made paying for my treatment possible.
My husband, Levi, fought Cancer for 15 years after many years of chemo, radiation, and many surgical procedures. His last year, he was able to receive a newly released chemo drug, Xtandi, to try and stop the cancer. We were very fortunate to receive funding from PAN foundation to help with the cost of this drug. Without your help, we all would not have had that extra year to enjoy the love of life together. Thank you for giving us a wonderful 45 years together.
My husband has end-stage liver disease from Hep C and his medication was costing a fortune. We had to stop because we could not afford it, but he became markedly worse and had to be hospitalized. I vowed to find some way to pay for the medicine he needed, and after many dead-ends and closed doors, I found PAN Foundation. My husband's application was approved and the funds were available within a matter of days. What an incredible, life-saving miracle! I cannot thank PAN Foundation enough for what they have done for us, both with his ongoing health concerns and our peace of mind.
Twice in the past 10 years, the PAN Foundation has been an unimaginable help to my husband & I. The first time they paid a very expensive monthly copay for my husband's crohn's medication. The second time, sadly, they paid an even higher copay for my husband's chemo meds. Even though my husband didn't make it, these people helped when I had nowhere else to turn, and they did it with grace and compassion. It was simple. I didn't have to fill out 1000 forms, or send 25 verification letters.
What could be more perfect in this scary world? THE PAN FOUNDATION. They save numerous people's lives through grants. These grants pay for copays for very ill patients. The list of illnesses that they will issue grants for is very long. Kind and competent company! Thank you for also saving me.
In my time of need Patient Access Network Foundation gave me assistance so I could live on Without their help I wouldn’t be here today
It was easy to apply and all the paperwork to continue to receive assistance was not a burden
When I finally got back on my feet I was so great full for the years they helped me survive
Thank You
We are so grateful for all of your help. My husband was put on a very expensive heart medication( Entresto). The medication has no generic at this time so without you we would not be able to afford to keep him on the medicine, and it seems to be working so much better than anything he as been given before. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
I don't know what I would do without the PAN foundation. I have chronic asthma. Because I take so much medication (in excess of $1500 per month) I fall into the donut hole by May/ early June each year. Without the foundation I would have to do without meds as I only get $1033 per month from medicare. Thank you so much as I probably would not be alive without the wonderful help from PAN.
Thank you PAN Foundation and great staff. Without your help my brother would need to abandon his specialty drug therapy for Parkinsons. God Bless you all.
I have called PAN several times and have received very helpful answers. I am 83 years old and we live on our Social Security and your Foundation has permitted me the benefit of Xolair for my asthma relief.
I have been able to significantly reduce my cholesterol level due to a Tier 4 or 5 medication that is very expensive. The Praluent medication is far beyond my ability to pay from my pocket, but very effective for me. The PAN Foundation is a terrific non-profit assistance group to those on Medicare that just cannot afford the expense of new and very helpful medications. My family and I thank the PAN Foundation and all those associated with this non-profit.
Dear pan foundation, you have been an unbelievable source of financial help for me and my wife. I suffer from heart failure and she is dealing with macular degeneration. We have been married and in love for 52 years. We have managed to deal with a minimal income but with your help, we are still here and want you to know what a tremendous help you have been. God bless you and thank you more than you'll ever know.
You have been a big help covering Entresto for my father who was diagnosed with CHF two years ago, has Medicare and a fixed income and could not pay for Entresto without your help. We appreciate all that you are doing for him and others who can't afford much needed life-saving medication.
they are a god sent for us who can't afford our medicine if it was not for the help i recieve for my ms drug i would not be able to stay on it

Thank you, Heather, for your kind words of support for PAN. We are grateful we could be of service to you.
without PAN I would be destitute! I've been getting grants from PAN since I was first diagnosed with CML (at age 26), and I truly do not know what I would do without their assistance. Their call center staff always has the best "bedside manner" and I usually am ready to cry tears of joy after hanging up the phone with them. This charity helps with what has been the scariest part of living with cancer - the financial burden. I'd like to think I have enough to worry about without worrying about covering my yearly deductible on Jan 1st (as my medicine costs 12k per month). I thank PAN from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you, Ben. We are so grateful that we could be of service during a time of need.
The PAN Foundation has helped me pay for my wildly priced medication for myelofibrosis. I would have had to change my whole lifestyle to pay for it myself. I am on Medicare and the 5% that Medicare charge after all of your initial deductibles is a lot of money when your meds cost this much! Kudos to PAN!

When my husband was being treated for CLL at UF Health Cancer in Orlando, he needed a medication which was extremely expensive. We were introduced to Patient Access Network. Until that time, we had never heard of this wonderful charity. He was able to receive the medication he needed, and we didn't have to pay the huge cost for it, which on top of all his other medical expenses, we would have never been able to afford. I am forever thankful that PAN was there for us in our desperate time of need.

Thank you, L Davis, for sharing your story. We appreciate your kind words and support of PAN and are so grateful that we could be of help to you and your husband during his treatment.
PAN got me transportation to and from my infusions for cancer treatments. Helped me with a copay on a very expensive drug. PAN is the best.
Do not donate to City of Hope. Donate to PAN and other copay assistance charities. All of your money will go to helping cancer patients with high drug copays.

Thank you. We are grateful for your kind words and are glad that we could be of service to you during your treatment.
I have had a grant from PANF each of the last four years to cover copayments for Copaxone, an injectable used to treat MS. Copaxone costs about $6000 per month. Copays run about $5000 per year. My PANF grant makes it possible for me to afford this treatment, which has worked so well for me.
This foundation is very efficient, the employees are knowledgeable and helpful, and the grants are a blessing to Medicare patients who need expensive medications for serious, chronic illnesses.

Thank you, Carol. We appreciate your support and are grateful that we could be of service.
Those living with chronic and/or life-threatening illnesses far too often must forego costly medications, though they may have health insurance. I'd never heard of Patient Access Network Foundation until I found myself in that real and scary scenario.
For the second year, Patient Access Network Foundation is making it possible for me to receive one of the few MS medications I can still take, 19 years into my life with MS, by covering my out-of-pocket/after health insurance cost. And, I am forever thankful to Patient Access Network Foundation working with its generous donors, pharmacies and healthcare providers to ensure $0.95 of each donated $1 directly helps patients - a major feat!
MS stole my beloved career in 2012, but Patient Access Network Foundation is enabling me to reach new heights of wellness and quality of life!
MS will not win!

When I received the news that Patient Access Network Foundation had approved my application, I was overwhelmed and so grateful.
I have Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis and there was no way that my family could afford my medicine. But PAN Foundation stepped up to the plate and knocked it out of the park. From the client services to the wonderful people that donate to PAN Foundation, my family thanks you and give hugs to all.
May God bless all who work, volunteer and contribute to this solid foundation.
Thank you,
Tommy R.

I received a grant from PAN to pay for expensive drugs that I needed to treat my stage 4 prostate cancer. The process was easy, and I will never forget and will always be appreciative of their generosity toward me in the early stages of my journey. Three
and one half years later and I am continuing my treatment, officially in remission.

When I was diagnosed with Hepatitis C, the PAN Foundation covered my co-pays on three bottles of Harvoni for my treatment. Each bottle was around $30,000 and My Humana advantage plan covered most of the cost but there were three copays, the first being around $4,900 and the next two being right around $2,000 each. I thank you PAN Foundation!
without your assistance I would not have been able to afford this treatment.

When I could not afford to finish my hepatitis c treatment Patients Access Network was there to pick up most of the cost. Thanks.

When we first found out the $6000 co pay for my wife’s treatment monthly she said to me I guess I am going to die ! PAN stepped in covered everything for a period of time and then helped us find another group to cover co-pay !!! She didn’t make it but PAN gave us additional time together to fight it. She never gave up thank you PAN for taking the financial worry and stress out of the senario!

I am 76, retired, and living on a fixed income so there is little wiggle room in my budget. The $700/month co-pay for the Imbruvica that keeps me alive and treats my CLL (leukemia) would be too much for me to handle. Thankfully, the Patient Access Network has been a tremendous help!
