Programs: The summit awards recognizes and honors women who have given outstanding community service and leadership in central florida.
i am possible - program that supports young women in a foster home by bringing together successful women to speak on and answer questions about various life skills. Our main goal of the event is to show these young women that anything is possible.
project win (women in need) - program in which wrc works with volunteers to assemble feminine hygiene kits for homeless women in our community. These kits contain feminine and basic hygiene products as well as laminated business cards with contact information for local homeless and domestic violence shelters and numbers for the human trafficking hotline. The business cards are in english, spanish and creole. Kits are distributed to social service agencies throughout the central florida community.
