Well of Hope Food Bank has not only served the communities of 4 Corners & Central Florida for over 14 years, but they are passionate about caring for the families that they serve. Over the years I’ve witnessed people come into the food bank that needed food, but left with food, hope & encouragement knowing that there are resources available to help them. From providing pampers & baby formula to a new mom that couldn’t provide for her child to providing a suit, tie & shoes for someone less fortunate to help prepare them for a job interview; Well of Hope Food Bank has & continues to make a positive impact in the lives of thousands. Our Pastor reminds us that we may not be able to change the world, but that the life that we save (impact) may not be our own. The Well of Hope Food Bank Team & their supporters are hero’s to their communities.
Our family was truly led to this place. It’s kind of like that song "Bless the Broken Road" Their motive is to Help People. This community is fortunate to Well of Hope. If you struggle with Food Insecurity they will embrace your need and seek to fill it. They are leading the initiative to have a Zero Hunger Community. Their volunteers are few in numbers and consistent. If you have a willingness to volunteer then investing your time wisely then investing a few hours with the team at Well of Hope is insightful and worth it.
I neded help with food and had no way to get to the thrift store. The young man waited on me i asked if they delivered. And of course they didnt but he was able to get ms. Beth and she brought my food to me for my family. What a godly thing to do for strangers,Janet Dees...
Well of Hope is one of the few Nonprofits that constantly feed and provide resources to the underserved in south lake county and surrounding areas. They are a very devoted organization that helps individuals that seem to can't find their way, to get back on their feet. I know of this because I volunteer with this organization.
I recently relocated here. My home fell through and no furniture arrived. By chance I ran into a pantry worker who shared the news about the the Well of Hope
What a blessing. Very helpful and loving. Everyone was warm, welcoming and passed no judgment. Thank you!!!
I was introduced by a friend when I was in a deep need of food and prayers. Everyone was so polite and help. They even to the time to explane how the program works. The pastor really took the time to talk to me and pray. I would recommend this place to anyone that really needs compassion, understanding and help with food
