Programs: Education - coca provides classes and workshops in performing and visual arts at coca's main location in university city and offsite locations. Coca also exhibits artwork of local and nationally recognized artists in its gallery. During the fiscal year total enrollment was 4,401, which includes 331 pre-professional dance students.
camps - coca provides summer arts camps at coca's main university city location and off-site locations in st. Louis, with an approximate enrollment of 3,954.
see schedule ococa presents - comprised of original coca productions and the best touring companies from around the world, coca presents offers thehighest caliber, cross-disciplinary, live theatre performances for st louis audiences. With access as a core value, coca presents providesopportunities for families to experience engaging theatre together and strives to make these shows accessible to the widest possibledemographic through discounted tickets, school time performances and special matinee shows for public school students. During the fiscalyear 8,862 people attended these performances.
cocaedu - coca provides arts education and arts integration programs in the classroom for public and independent st. Louis schools, as well as professional development for teachers. Coca also leads collaborative partnerships with area arts and cultural organizations to better engage students and teachers to improve learning through the arts. During the fiscal year, 33 schools participated in this program. This program included 250 collaborative residencies and classes and served approximately 6,250. Twenty-eight (28) school time performances/gallery exhibits served 556. In total this program provided professional development for 218 educators. Cocabiz - coca provides arts-based business instruction, including custom training, workshops, talks, conferences, and special events tohelp individuals and corporate teams embrace creative problem solving, innovative thing, and more dynamic leadership. During the fiscal year approximately 1,546 clients were served.
