Mission: Founded 1987, the Center for AIDS Prevention (CAP) marks 20 years in the fight against HIV/AIDS. We are proud of our accomplishments in coordinating local HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and advocacy projects and recognize that more needs to be done. We strive for the day when our work is no longer needed, but sadly the HIV/AIDS crisis is growing while stigma and complacency persist. In the period ahead we will partner with communities most affected by the epidemic to expand and improve HIV/AIDS prevention and care services, and advocate for sound HIV/AIDS policy and law.
