Mission: To preserve and operate the historic carlisle theatre as a performing arts center and community gathering place that provides a focal point of cultural activity and educational outreach for diverse audiences. Its main objective is to present the highest quality theatrical, musical, and concert works, as well as to provide entertaining and educational children's programming.

Programs: Mainstage - the mainstage program seeks to bring to central pennsylvania live shows featuring top performers in the areas of country, rock, classic rock, comedy, folk, classical, celtic and jazz. There were four shows with attendance of 2,592 people.
hollywood on high film series - the mission of hollywood on high is to have critically acclaimed films which also include foreign and independent films including documentaries unlikely to be found at local multiplexes. The theatre works with the local college to offer their students discounted tickets. 37 films were shown for a total of 191 showings. Total attendance was 7,649. The theatre is also used by local performing organizations that are for the enrichment of the local community.
