Mission: The breast ultrasound foundation's mission is to increase public and professional awareness of the role of quality ultrasound in the detection and management of breast cancer and in women's health.
Programs: The foundation makes the public aware through lectures, books, publications, research, electronic and other media, and other means of the attributes, scientific basis, and benefits of medical ultrasound concerning persons credentialed in diagnostic medical ultrasound and vascular technology as applied to breast cancer and women's health.
