Mission: The Blackwater Creek Association was founded to serve as a key player in the preservation, promotion, and revitalization of Lynchburg's Blackwater Creek Watershed, specifically as it relates to the downtown area of the City. The Blackwater Creek Association coordinates and participates in a wide variety of activities that are designed to improve the natural and built environment of the area while educating the public about the rich cultural, historical, and natural resources located within the watershed.
