Anthony's medical group (bsamg) operates outpatient medical care clinics in amarillo, texas. Bsamg furthers the charitable healthcare purpose of high plains baptist health foundation (hpbhf) (formerly baptist st. Anthony's hospital corporation), a related tax-exempt hospital, as follows: *the coordination of acute care services by hpbhf and outpatient clinic services by bsamg avoids unnecessary duplication which helps lower the cost of delivering healthcare. *bsamg provides the means to integrate both the physicians and the hospitals. This integration allows for the coordination of care for the patient that will maintain quality while generating efficiencies and thus reduce costs.
