Mission: The mission of the asian american health coalition is to provide quality health care to all people without any prejudice in the greater houston area in a culturally and linguistically competent manner.
Programs: Hope clinic provides comprehensive primary care and preventative services to adults and children at or below the economic poverty level. Affordable services offered include pediatric care, prenatal care, gynecology, internal medicine, chronic care management, family planning, cancer screening and diagnosis, immunizations, laboratory services on site, vision services, dental services, behavioral health, social services, health education and outreach, and nutritional consultations. Hope clinic is the health safety net serving 17,898 unique patients in 2017, offering quality care in over 45 different languages and dialects.
the award winning breast cancer project, the phoenix project, started in 2003 and provides free mammogram screening, diagnostic procedures and treatment, as well as clinical breast examination, breast health education, and treatment. Over the last 14 years, the program has reached over 31,000 women.
