Artist and Angels Against Aids has been a positive influence on the clients my agency has connected. The use of poetry as a medium to share how HIV/Aids has impacted their lives has given them a voice. Often times the HIV/Aids community has voiceless, also the communities have been unwilling to hear they have been affected. Stigma and stereotypes have been instrumental in delaying the progress of getting others to understand. Artists and Angels provides an avenue to healing and progress.
