Mission: Arizona health insurance pool (ahip) was formed in 2006 and is a self-insured employee benefits pool established pursuant to ars 41-621. 01 that provides health benefits and services to not-for-profits, contractors and subcontractors licensed to do work for the state of arizona or political subdivision of the state of arizona. The pool offers a comprehensive health benefits program, including medical, dental, prescription, basic and supplemental life, long-term disability and a voluntary vision plan. In addition, the pool offers supplemental programs such as flexible spending accounts (fsa), health savings accounts (hsa) and pharmacy benefit programs.
