Mission: To experiment rigorously to discover adventurous new forms of contemporary performing arts. Arcos enhances the contemporary performing arts through the support, cultivation, and education of audiences and aspiring, emerging, and established artists.
Programs: The significant project undertaken was a multimedia dance-theater production that ran for 24 performances during the edinburgh festival fringe in scotland. The production received favorable reviews from local and national uk publications and was awarded a prize. While box office revenue was modest, the critical success of the piece was an important milestone for the organization. Educational programming continued to grow, with a summer intensive workshop drawing students from across the region and country. Over half of these participants received scholarships to subsidize their personal tuition contribution.
