Mission: Our mission is to provide financial assistance to children and youth who are receiving medical treatment and care for brain and other neurological injuries and conditions including spinal cord injuries.
Programs: Shepherd center endowment fund- payments of 142,300 in 2017. This is an endowed adolescent patient assistance fund at shepherd center, the nation's largest not-for-profit brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation hospital. The fund will help support adolescents and their families with medical treatment, rehabilitation and home care needs not typically covered by insurance or other compensation sources.
financial assistance program - andee's army awarded grants of 251,414 to assist 90 families with uninsured medical costs and related expenses and household expenses. 38% assisted with durable equipment, 31% assisted with rehabilitation therapies, 15% assisted with general patient assistance, 12% assisted with family support programs and 4% assisted with medical bills & home health care.
