Programs: Providing tv/radio/newspaper broadcasting of buddhist teachings to the general public and anticipating that the public would be spiritually and physically benefited and will prosper. Tv broadcasting of buddhist teachings(30 minutes) daily or on weekend through ktsf channel 26, tvb cable-san francisco, tvb cable-los angeles, tvb-satellite (tvb2) and ptv network (usa) inc. Radio broadcasting of buddhist teachings through am 1380-new york(m-f) for 30 minutes. Buddha name chanting (60 sec) broadcasting through sing tao radio (fm 96. 1 and am 1400) and kazn am 1300. Advertising on sing tao newspaper(sf), world journal newspaper(sf), world journal newspaper(la), and world journal newspaper(ny). Estimated more than 100,000 people have benefited from these program services.
providing books and dvd on buddhism to general public through the following channels and anticipating that people who come into contact with buddhism will be spiritually and physically benefited and will prosper. (a) in-house shelf display for walk-in general public. (b) shipping per requests from telephone, fax, and/or email, to us, canada, and some other countries. (c) mailing to inmates and/or chaplains of correctional institutions in the us. Estimated more than 50,000 people have benefited from the above program services. Donated services with estimated value of $252,225 were received in connection with all program services.
