The foundation's mission is threefold: (1) to sponsor, fund, and/or support dance education programs which expose children in low-income areas to the lifelong benefits of dance education through and with local community organizations, (2) to provide scholarships to talented students studying at accredited or nationally regarded dance schools, studios, or institutions. (3) in conjunction with recognized credentialing organizations, to support and increase the quality of all styles of dance education in the united states.
Programs: Community programs: sponsor, fund and/or support dance education programs which expose children in low-income areas to the lifelong benefits of dance education through and with local community organizations. Since inception, 77 programs in 28 states have been funded serving approximately 150,000 students. National dance day is a broader realization of our community programs, by encouraging community partners across the united states to provide greater to access to dance education to everyone.
scholarship program:the organization underwent a strategic planning process in 2017 to re-evaluate its mission, vision, and programs.
