Causes: Alumni Associations, Education
Mission: The alumni association of the bronx high school of science assisted the bronx high school of science and its students and alumni by encouraging, perserving, and maintaining friendships amoung members, and by providing financial resources for student scholarships and school improvement projects.
Programs: Alumni relations:published the alumni newsletter-mailed to approximately 10,000 members, monthly e-mail newsletters, and provided seed funds to class reunions.
school projects:school projects are approved by the board and are committed for a specific project of the bronx high school of science. These projects include, but are not limited to, the various educational departments, textbooks, technology needs, school clubs and capital projects of the bronx high school of science.
scholarships and awards: during the fiscal year the alumni association granted awards and scholarships based on academic excellence and/or financial need.
