Volunteering with women and children in Uganda’s remote areas was both challenging and rewarding. The lack of basic infrastructure—roads, electricity, and healthcare—was an eye-opener, but it made the work feel even more important.
I worked mainly with women’s groups, helping to implement health education workshops focused on maternal health and nutrition. I also supported early childhood development programs by engaging with children in fun and educational activities. It was incredible to see how much hope and energy the women and children had, despite their hardships.
The local community was warm and welcoming, and I quickly adapted to the rural lifestyle. I was constantly moved by the gratitude of the women and the excitement of the children. The experience deepened my understanding of global inequality and strengthened my passion for community development. I feel privileged to have been a part of this initiative.
Volunteering in rural Uganda has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. Working with children and women in hard-to-reach areas opened my eyes to the challenges they face daily, from limited access to education and healthcare to the struggles of finding clean water and proper nutrition. Rvanz- Mia Charity Corp is a charitable organization dedicated to caring and providing or supporting children who have lost care or children who do have parents and guardian to support and care for them. The foundation seeks to bring children to a family-like environment where they can learn from their peers, elderly ones and the mother in charge of the Corp. when I got there at first, I could not differentiate between children who are cared for by this foundation/organization and children who were actually the founder’s children. They all play together, eat together and school together in the same school.
In fact, Ryvanz- Mia Corp is the best place for orphans who want to be cared for or supported. This Corp/Foundation has helped children to achieve their dreams in life. The Corp does not only provide care and support, but also provides educational support and helps children to identity, develop and nurture their potentials and dreams to become a reality.
The Corp also runs a school that helps children in the foundation and even outside of the foundation to get basic educational needs.

The work with Ryvanz-Mia Charity Corp in Uganda undertakes in the community of Kaliro, Namutumba, Kyani Nyanza, Butongole, Kasokwe and Buyende district has such a positive impact particularly in the hard to reach communities in Uganda. I worked with some amazing staff of Save Community Care Foundation and participants that all showed wonderful dedication to the work we were carrying out. The staffs were all so welcoming from the start to update always available if needed or just for a chat about life in general. The conversations I had here will be held dear to me for many years to come.
I have been able to develop my skills, talents, and make friends of different culture and this will take these with me for the rest of my life.

Ryvanz-Mia Charity Corp is a great experience. They are maintaining the house with full of heart and it`s very neat and clean. The caretakers and children there are lovely people. My visit to the home in July 2021 is a memory I will cherish forever. I hope to make a return to the home soon. Great home to channel your generous gesture to help make it a better place for the underprivileged.
It is often said, 'education is the key, whiles we all have the right to education some have more privileges than others. What about the children who are vulnerable for one or two reasons. Lack of finances, broken homes and not even getting access to quality education not to talk of hygiene, good health and even a place to lay their heads.
The joy and happiness of Ryvanz Mia Charity is to give these vulnerable children the good and quality education they could ever dream of. Whereas, hygine, creating awareness and providing them with good health care is keen to the heart of the organisation.
However, Ryvanz Mia Charity is a non-profit organisation aiming to provide for these vulnerable children without expecting anything in return but to put smiles and hope in them and their families through donations, volunteers, money, goods, services, time anything that will pivot the agenda of the organisation.
Moreover, it is often said that there is more happiness in giving than in receiving, the happiness the giver feels does not add up to the happiness or smiles or hope that are been put on the faces of these vulnerable children. The act of joy for providing for these younger ones boost our confidence that we are doing the right thing.
In conclusion, sharing is caring and as giving makes the giver happy, the more joy the giver feels. Few months ago we were supported by RMC to implement a poultry project for persons with disabilities in Uganda. The 10 families received 20 local bread of female chicken and today I am glad to share with you that the poutry project has muiltiplied from 20 chicken to 115 chicken now. The families who received this project are very happy and thanking RMC for their support of allievating them from abject poverty. We are looking forward taking this project to more communities of persons with disabilities. we are very thankfull to RMC for their support which creating everlasting impact in our community.

I had the privilege of volunteering with Ryvanz-Mia Childcare Ghana local non-profit organization and an affiliate of Ryvanz-Mia Charity based in the USA, dedicated to providing education,and support services to orphan individuals. In my role as a volunteer, I participated in various activities, including teaching and serving meals at the orphanage. One notable impact of my involvement was witnessing firsthand the positive change in the lives of the kids. Through our efforts, many kids found stable education, housing, access to medical care, and employment opportunities. For instance, during my time volunteering, we assisted over 5 kids in finding permanent home, which was a significant milestone for the organization.Of course, we encountered challenges, such as limited resources and the complexity of addressing home for the kids. However, our team's dedication and the support of the community allowed us to make a substantial difference. Personally, I learned valuable lessons in empathy, teamwork, and the importance of community involvement through this experience. It reinforced my belief in the power of non-profit organizations to create positive change in Kpando - Ghana.

I have got a chance to volunteer for RMC in Uganda. We have the SHE SHINES PROJECT on board targeting the unlucky girls that were affected by covid spell, they got pregnant and could not make it back to class but rather through our apprenticeship programs on board .
So far the pioneer student is doing tailoring. She was a high schooler in her form three but when covid cut accross the world, she was raped by a neighbor who left her pregnant
Many of our girls are victims of this. We look forward to getting more donations for support of this project to shine the unlucky girls again.

Ms. Sofiat Mutesi, a 40-year-old woman gave birth to twins, later to triplets and quintuplets (3girls and 2boys) in Nakavule hospital on Saturday 24th August 2019. She lost one baby boy due to poor feeding, medical care, and other basic needs. A resident of Nawaikoke Village, Kibale sub-county, Namutumba district in Eastern Uganda.

Came across Ryvanz Mia Charity Corp, circa 2020, through a friend and colleague.
Traveling to the Ryavnz-Mia Childcare in Kpando came impromptu but it turned out to be a fascinating journey. One I'd love to do again. I spent three days at the Home and every minute spent was worth it.
It is a home full of dreams. The children aspire to achieve greatness. But the unfortunate thing is no country uses dream as its currency. Nevertheless, the children's home gives them hope. Under the supervision of Mama Esi, the mother of the home, the children's future is secured, and bright.
She is kind, generous, and fun-loving.
The children are also super friendly. They are happy kids ready to learn and unlearn. The love shared among Mama Esi and the children makes it hard to unreservedly accept the truism that they are unrelated by blood or distant relatives.
Not been to many homes though, but per my experience, if every home shares the Ryvanz-Mia values and extends heartwarming care to the vulnerable children as one of their own, the world would become a better place.
What can I say about the Ryvanz-Mia Charity team! Marvelous! They have been doing a great job as a nonprofit organization. Several charity organizations are working out there, but the level of professionalism, commitment to the goal they have got has blown my mind. This is the biggest nonprofit organization in terms of loyalty, care, and humanity.
I have been extraordinarily impressed by the work this nonprofit is doing. As an American television reporter, I come into contact with many nonprofit organizations. What struck me about the work this nonprofit does is the remarkable level of commitment its founder has demonstrated. I hold him, and this organization, in the highest possible regard.
A very engaging and motivating home for the less fortunate, I learn a lot and give out my best when I'm with them, I enjoy putting a smile on the face of others and that's exactly what I do when volunteering .This nonprofit supports persons through training, mentoring, tête-à-têtes and other vocational and technical learning methods.This nonprofit has been successful in raising funds from a range of donors and is still looking out for international donors to help make the dreams of the less privileged become a reality.
My project exchange Students from Umeå, Sweden over the years during their Evaluation rates their visit to Ryvanz-Mia home VERY HIGH. Some students after their education in Sweden returned to the Home to help and give donations because of the Love ❤️ and care the Ryvanz-Mia home offers. The Good Heart of Mama Esi has to be mentioned too.
I have known and worked with Ryvanz-Mia Charity Corp for the past twelve years as a technician trough volunteering with many colleagues across the globe in KPANDO,Ghana.there’s greater love of care for the kids for education support and health support and amazingly mama Esi is a great mom for all kids and volunteers.I am recommending Ryvanz-Mia Charity Corp for all who wish to volunteer in Ghana ,and you will never regret it all your life as striving for humanity is the core value of our life’s.

RYVANZ - MIA CHARITY Corp is non profit organization. I visited their other organisation based in Ghana in 2018. They take care of the orphans and other vulnerable children in the surrounding community. They provide emotional support to these children which makes sense because they grew up in the absence of their parents. They make children feel loved they broughtchildren 's sense of belonging,listened . The volunteers that assists there provide physcosocial support in every coner that deserves a need. They really take care of children whole heartedly.

Ever since the inception of this organization, many have benefited a lot. All the children are offered the best education, are given the best care, clothing and shelter.
Volunteers come and go with a much more experience, exposure and excitement.
They do not only share with the children but also those within the environment. They get to know new places of tourist attractions, new ways of life and a lot more.
The children are also climbing the academic ladder and are ready to explore.
