The teacher (Sensei) has over 25 years of continuous service to the community. The mission is clearly understood: provide high quality instruction in a traditional environment available to all who are willing to put in the work. Kids classes are fun and geared to kids. We members who started in kids class and will amaze you as practicing adults! Adult classes are challenging and recognize individual learning pace. Sensei remains focused on his own training (all teachers should model this behavior), it's a friendly place, and the students support each other and the school (dojo). We all learn to contribute according to our own abilities and to respect others. Practical, compassionate, and "leave the ego at the door". A great organization that has been around for decades and has a long future ahead. All funds go toward furthering the educational mission. I have travelled the world for 25 yrs training in this art and consider it a privilege to be a member at this dojo. Please consider even a small donation to help us pay our rent and utilities!
