Mission: The mission of advocates pro tour is to bring greater diversity to the game of golf by hosting tournaments in inner cities and underserved communities. These professional tournaments provide a unique opportunity for minority professionals to develop their golf skills and increase their prospects for a professionally sponsored golf tour. In addition, the tournaments serve to promote career development among professionals while also serving urban youth by introducing them to the game of golf and skill development.
Programs: In 2016, advocates pro tour in its second year as a stand alone organization held five professional tournaments in tampa, atlanta, new orleans, pensacola, and los angeles. These tournaments help minority professionals to develop their golf skills and increase their prospects for a professionally sponsored golf tour and/or for jobs and careers in the golf industry.
