I am the Executive Director of Women’s Money Matters, a nonprofit in MA supporting women living on low-incomes with financial wellness workshops and 1:1 coaching. We are beyond excited to partner with Neighborshare to be able to offer financial support to the women in our programs. We see all the time in our financial wellness programs for low-income women how much an unexpected expense can derail a spending plan and cause women to go into a debt spiral. Neighborshare is addressing such an important need and, through our partnership, Women’s Money Matters is so happy to be able to help facilitate immediate financial relief to both current and past participants during challenging times to assist with emergency car payments, medical bills, rent, support leaving an abusive relationship, and more.

NieghborShare has impacted many families that our organization serves in times of need. Without their support, these families wouldn't have been able to get through their various situations.

I am the director of a nonprofit food bank in California and I love working with Neighbor Share. We are able to use the funds from Neighbor Share to meet needs that we would otherwise not be able to. I am able to pay for rent, new work boots, car repairs, and utility payments for low-income families. I am so grateful to Neighbor Share because I don't have to turn as many people away anymore!

NeighborShare is absolutely amazing - they are able to step in and provide needs that would otherwise go unmet. Furnish Hope provides furniture and household essentials to families in need throughout our region and NeighborShare assists our community each month. NeighborShare funds allow single moms to purchase infant items for babies on the way, families to purchase a washer for their homes, an aged out foster youth to purchase essentials for college life, and so many more instances where they have stepped in! I work for a non-profit in Buffalo, NY. Partnering with NeighborShare is amazing! They help fill the funding gap for individuals that our agency works with. They are easy to work with and they process funding quickly. I work with Mercy Drops Dream Center based out of Portsmouth, VA. We get weekly calls of people that have experienced financial hardship for various reasons. Luckily, NeighborShare provides us the opportunity to help families like Alex who had been successful in getting her and her child out of homelessness by working 2+ jobs weekly, and then had a financial set back because she was injured on one of her jobs. This week we hope to help a mom with twin girls who is struggling to pay her bills because her spouse was recently sent to jail and she has lost his income as well as some of her income over the summer.

I am the founder and executive director of New Neighbors Partnership, an organization that helps welcome refugees from Ukraine, Afghanistan, Haiti, and all over the world to New York City. Partnering with Neighbor Share has been an incredible experience and they have provided outstanding support to newcomers who are fleeing violence or persecution and arrive with no community or safety net. Many folks have family or friends they can call on in times of need, but for refugees who have only recently arrived and not yet built up a network, Neighbor Share has filled a gap by providing one-time emergency support that can be life-changing in times of crisis. Neighbor Share not only facilitates dignified financial assistance but also give our new neighbors the feeling that they have a community here, in their new country.

As an Executive Director, I have loved working with NeighborShare. They have been a great partner to help support families we work with who are in need of assistance. They have helped change the lives of many children in our Kenzi's Kidz program. NeighborShare works with so many organizations, changing lives.

We have worked with NeighborShare since its founding and we could not be happier. Together we have distributed thousands of dollars to families that need it most at times in their lives where it makes the biggest difference. A truly great organization.

Our partnership with NeighborShare has been Heaven sent. Together with NeighborShare, we have fully funded 52 individual needs, that may have not been touched nor met. Each and every life was significantly marked by this unexpected Miracle. NeighborShare continues to grow in their mission of giving and lifting the immediate short term needs of others. Most people are barely keeping their heads above water. For many, an unexpected expense like a car repair or an outlay like new clothes to replace the ones their children have outgrown can be the straw that breaks the camel's back. I am the executive director of a nonprofit that trains parents on intergenerational trauma—often parents sent to us by the courts or child welfare—but no one can concentrate on learning new approaches to parenting when they are stressed about finding cash for basic necessities. Neighborhood Share gives us a resource to help these parents with one-time costs. The process is quick and smooth and preserves the dignity of those who want to be independent but just need a little help.

The kind of sums we are talking about are relatively small, but for these families are life-saving. One mother was reunited with her son after he had been in foster care and needed all new clothes since he had grown about a foot! Another mother was able to purchase children's beds so the child welfare agency would release her children back to her. Yet another bought personal items for her and her family after a fire destroyed their home. The relief these funds bring cannot be overstated. I am so grateful to Neighborhood Share for trusting us to know our participants' needs and for delivering speedy help and hope to those with nowhere else to turn.

I work at a nonprofit, and we have been lucky enough to partner with Neighborshare. I am so grateful for our partnership, as it allows us to let our clients identify their own priorities and needs, and it empowers them to decide how to best address these needs. Neighborshare fills the gap for supporting those in need where other resource and agencies are unable to assist. also allows us to support our clients through needs that are often difficult to find resources for. Being able to support our clients during tough moments while honoring their dignity is really special, and Neighborshare allows us to do that.

I'm not one who writes reviews of products, places or services. However, NeighborShare is a nonprofit that captured my interest and passion from the very beginning. It fills one of the most significant gaps in helping those in need by making it possible for donors like me to make a impactful difference in the lives of individuals and families whose lives could change with relatively minimal financial aid.

For me, the best gift I ever receive is a friend, colleague or family member making a contribution in my honor. I use NeighborShare to honor others while benefitting those much less fortunate.

I've had the opportunity to work closely with NeighborShare this past year. I'm the Executive Director of a nonprofit and we serve families and individuals in a low-moderate income area. I've gotten calls from individuals who loss their jobs due to COVID and are struggling to pay essential bills. NeighborShare organization has been such a tremendous blessing to people who need emergency one time assistance for such thing as, electric, water, car repairs and more.
