My Nonprofit Reviews

I work with Mercy Drops Dream Center based out of Portsmouth, VA. We get weekly calls of people that have experienced financial hardship for various reasons. Luckily, NeighborShare provides us the opportunity to help families like Alex who had been successful in getting her and her child out of homelessness by working 2+ jobs weekly, and then had a financial set back because she was injured on one of her jobs. This week we hope to help a mom with twin girls who is struggling to pay her bills because her spouse was recently sent to jail and she has lost his income as well as some of her income over the summer.
