Faubourg Theatre is a special organization that I have been privileged to be a part of for over 13 years, first as a student and now serving on its board. Faubourg is just as committed to serving its surrounding community as it is in providing world class ballet training. Their commitment to excellence and development of all young people in their programs is making a huge difference in the lives of the students and their families and community.
As Mayor of the Village of Hanover Park, I have been so impressed by the collaborative leadership between the Ballet Company, the School, Village Leadership and the Mom’s and Dad’s who are witness to the change in their children. That change models a future for our underserved families and the hopes and dreams of their children. Can we provide HOPE for their future, I totally believe the volunteer opportunities are here and the initiative is serving our community at an exceptional level.
I believe “All Children are capable of success, NO EXCEPTIONS!” That comment is a challenge to all adults who engage with our youth, we coach, we nurture, and we model the best life has to offer. Our sponsors are to be commended and thanked, we do appreciate the continued efforts of First Eagle bank.
My time reading to the kiddo's and sharing the value of mutual respect, self dignity, and caring for others as a personal goal and hope we have for one another.

I work as a photographer for Faubourg Theatre and am honored to be a part of this wonderful organization. For years Faubourg has been giving to the community with its Literacy Through the Arts program and through the performances and training of its ballet students.
I have been dancing at Faubourg for 9 years now, and I could not get this training anywhere else. Faubourg has a variety of teachers that really gives you the best training possible. I am so thankful to be training there.
Faubourg Theatre plays a vital role in the community as a dance studio and by providing a Literacy Through the Arts program in collaboration with students in the Keeneyville School District 20. They have made a difference in the lives of many children in the community and their families. I have had the pleasure of being involved with and supporting the Theatre for the past several years and look forward to what they will accomplish in the years ahead.
I have taken class here, and the training is the best I have ever had. Their attention to detail is unparalleled. Most importantly, they will train you even if you are like me and don't fit the mold of an elite dancer.
It has been an honor and a pleasure to be part of Faubourg Ballet staff.
I have been working with them for over a year and the experience has been positive in every aspect.
It takes great effort to organize and conduct educational programs and Faubourg Ballet does is with excellence.
Faubourg Ballet is committed to bring the best of every ballet student, valuing what each one of them has to give and going beyond the line of duty to provide the students with all they need to succeed.
The achievements of such a great ballet program are known among the high-quality professionals in the ballet world.
The Literacy Through the Arts program serves the community giving a chance to children to express themselves and helping them in many other aspects of life.
I look forward to seeing what comes in the future and I hope to continue to stay connected to the Faubourg Ballet staff and able to help with their mission.
Luciana Rezende, ballet instructor.
I've worked as a teaching artist for over a year with Faubourg and have had the joy to see students' lives changed with the intersection of literacy and the arts. I've seen the team at Faubourg strive for the most excellent curriculum, materials, and lesson plans in order to enrich the lives of students in its surrounding community. I've loved working for this organization and fully stand behind its mission. This is an organization that strives for excellence in all that it does in order to push students towards their best potential.
As a guest Artist and master teacher, now on faculty with the Faubourg Ballet, I am always honored to fly from New York City and work with the artists and creative teams of Faubourg! The children’s program affords a safe haven for individuals to grow and learn the intricate details of their artistic pursuits with Master teachers in their field of interest. The one on one guidance afforded at this training ground has made Faubourg a world renown gem in the industry! The on-site facilities are conducive to the development of a deeper understanding of our art form and afford the artist the incubation time and space to truly make choices that ripple throughout our field ! I’m honored to be on faculty and will always make time in my schedule to teach and mentor at this Internationally recognized educational hub! My best wishes, Kat Wildish

As a board member at Faubourg Theatre I have have been able to experience first hand the joy and beauty these dancers bring to the stage. It is truly first class teaching and many of the pre-professional dancers go onto have successful careers in dance. In addition to the ballet academy, Faubourg does a literacy and arts outreach in the nearby community. Partnering with the local school district for the last several years Faubourg has brought after school dance programs and a 6 week Summer Literacy Through the Arts program to underprivileged children. This program has truly enriched the summer for these children, helped to bridge their literacy skills throughout the summer and introduced them to the world of dance. This partnership with the school district has been a tremendous program serving many children over the years.
