Mission: The mission of the Decatur Orchestra Sul Ponticello is the active cultivation of musical life in the River City via a professional chamber orchestr, to expand options currently available to area residents, and to inspire young musicians to strive to the beautiful possibilities of performing classical music.
Results: The Decatur Orchestra Sul Ponticello has been offering live orchestral performances in the city of Decatur, Alabama, since 2015. The orchestra's 2022 fund raiser event was held March 26. Concerts planned for the remainder of 2022 include May 7: Beethoven Symphony No. 5, the autumn concert to be presented in October, and the Christmas Concert to be presented in December.
