One of the biggest secrets of nature is that the experience of the baby in the womb can make a big difference in the brain architecture and nervous system of this new beautiful being. APPPAH shares education for birth practitioners, psychologists, social workers and families how they can uncover the beauty of this period of "welcome to the world" for our babies being born. We are working very hard to bring to light this ancient knowledge from around the world.
Understanding and sharing this information is critical for changing the world to be a more peaceful, loving place.

I have been collaborating with and inspired by APPPAH for several years and have witnessed how they have grown from strenght to strenght. It is not common to seen an organisation with such a coordinated, enthusiastic, and passionate team, committed to helping societies and humanity by supporting parents, improving the way babies are conceived, nurtured, and welcomed, and involving prenatal and perinatal professional in this ethos and mission. Their use of social media, courses, and Monday lectures are excellent. They are truly making a difference in the world by disseminating the wisdom and science of the preconception, prenatal, and postnatal periods, which set the foundations of human development and wellbeing, thus of a healthy society and humanity.

I am a pre and perinatal educator student working on my certification and this organization has done more for me and my clients than I have time to write. Such an incredibly supportive organization working to end violence in birth and to promote bonding and healthy familial relationships starting at preconception moving through the pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I wish everyone knew of this organization and all therapists were well-versed in pre and perinatal psychology. How we are conceived, how we are born matters and this organization is working endlessly to bring peace to childbirth so we may have a better adulthood.

I am a mental health provider who went through a traumatic birth experience and was looking to use my healing to help others. This organization is doing that and more. Education on this time period of life is beyond important and advocating for the needs of the birther and the child is something APPPAH puts at the forefront of its efforts.

Wonderful enthusiastic people make up the association, with immense passion and desire to help at its heart.
The Monday lecture series is such a valuable tool, I enjoy participating and have learned so much from all the various therapists and experts which I would normally not have exposure too. All of which helps simply helps my own clients and makes me a better expert every day.

I Synchronistically stumbled upon APPPAH in February 2020 when looking into how to better serve my wife who was 5 months pregnant at the time. We had already changed our diet and use of pharmaceutics medications and I was curious on how the psychological and emotional state of the parents would affect our child, along with tips and tools for maintaining a balanced pregnancy and first couple of years after the birth. We had a home birth on our parents farm, and APPPAH gave us the strength and will to be able to trust we were making the right decision for ourselves and child during the COVID pandemonium. I signed up for the free classes in MARCH and started learning so many amazing things about the development of the baby from even before conception, and even how some babies and children remember life beyond the womb. This is one of the most important organizations for the future of humanity and has played an integral role in the wellbeing of my new family. THANK YOU APPPAH!

APPPAH is a treasure trove of knowledge, ideas, and, most importantly, community. I've been involved with APPPAH since 2013, completed the PPNE course in 2016, and attended 4 Congresses-- the people and ideas I've connected with are beyond value.
The professionals and parents involved in APPPAH have a diversity of techniques and theories, but the thing that connects us all is the understanding that consciousness begins long before birth. We are dedicated to sharing this knowledge and understanding, and to building a better world for the sake of future generations. APPPAH and the individuals that compose it give me hope... We heal the earth through better birth.

II work with children as occupational therapists in an enriched sensory environment, which provides lots of hanging equipment and crawling space and places. In my journey with the children, they would share their birth stories with me. I turned to APPPAH to get information and education on what they were telling me. I have been involved with APPPAH for many years had I have marveled at the training and knowledge I have gotten from the experts in the field. I refer everyone to APPPAH so they can see the light also as birth does affect the human. My goal is to help humanity lighten this burden so they can be the individual they should be in their journey.

It's been 20 years since I have studied the babies in the womb attains memories prior to their birth. The information I have gained from my research about Prenatal Memory and experiences are exactly aligned with the APPPAH.

Since the founding of the APPPAH in 1985. I was very pleased to hear that everyone agrees on the "Life starts before conception, not after the birth" at this organization.

It was truly the moment of revelation which gave me a sense of confidence and confirmation about my research.

APPPAH is a fundamental organization for the world to solve the current societal and global issues. If we all appreciate the importance of APPPAH, the world would soon be a better place.

I am hoping to continue and spread the important messages from APPPAH which will regain, promote, and protect the dignity of each person.

Apppah is a place where every parent and every professional should study and get informed about the importance of prenatal, Birth and postpartum education. Apppah is spreading the importance of being a were about our unborn children and their neurological construction inside de womb. Today we need to create save places where parents and professionals will be able to wake up and prioritize babies. We must change hospitals’ malpractices and understand what is the best for the babies and to for the doctors or hospitals.

I found this to be a wealth of knowledgable resource. I had suffered from perinatal depression and was struggling to understand what i was experiencing. I also wasn't getting the support from the usual health care practitioners to help me heal. From this information i was able to move forward and now I teach women how important it is to take care of their mental and emotional health in pregnancy.

APPPAH is a wonderful organization. Being involved in the APPPAH pre-and perinatal educator course and community has proven to be extremely valuable to me and my practice. Learning through APPPAH has helped me change the way I serve my clients and has inspired me to become an advocate for pre-and perinatal psychology. Not only do they work hard to bring awareness to issues concerning the wellbeing of babies and parents, but they are initiating a much needed change in the paradigm.

I reached out to the AAAPAH after months of "stalking" their social media and devouring every article they posted, in order to ask for a scholarship with them. They offered me a whole year of free access to their articles of which I'm so grateful. They are truly making a difference in the perinatal psychology community. I highly recommend checking this non-profit out!

I am Divya from Delhi, India and APPPAH was a place for me to REST in my journey

I intuitively knew that manifesting into this world was a conscious decision for each of us. I felt my child called to me, when I woke up one day and knew I wanted a child and my entire life changed. I gave up a career in engineering and immersed myself to be a mother. I also felt strongly when I was induced and knew deep within that my baby was affected by that.

That was the beginning of my journey 23 years ago. I am been a childbirth educator, doula, hypno-fertility practitioner, biodynamic craniosacral therapist.

My course with APPPAH brought together all the diverse aspects I had explored to date. I found the course well organised and gave me the background to reach out to parents and professionals and practice in an entirely new and novel way.

My interaction with expectant parents shifted from pain management and birth plans to an exploration of themselves as they support their baby's journey from womb to world. This framework shift empowered parents to make choices that put baby and them center stage. I found they became confident and process oriented. In this shift, they found many opportunities to meet their needs, baby's need and yet be connected

My work with infertility clients was also impacted in a similar way. The information offered a way away from desperation and being a victim to acceptance, healing and opening up.

Acknowledging the sentient baby and their journey not only has allowed us (my clients and me) to welcome the little one into world with love but has supported our healing as well

Other than being a brilliant course, APPPAH has been a platform for support and connections. These essential qualities cannot be learnt in theory but have been wonderfully modeled both by mentors and fellow students. I look forward to a long association with APPPAH and opportunities to contribute in the future

APPPAH is the only professional association that explores and elucidates all aspects of early human development from conception through infancy based on genetics, neurobiology, psychology and sociology. Whether you are a midwife, duala, nurse, obstetrician, pediatrician, psychologist, social worker or other health professianal or simply a lay person or future parent - as long as you care about pregnant mothers' and children's health - APPAH is your home. I have never met friendlier and more welcoming people than I have at APPPAH Conferences. This is a great institution and deserves your support.

I always read the posts from the APPPAH. They deal with profoundly important issues, concerning the way that babies and mothers (and fathers) experience conception, development in the womb, birth and then the very first seconds, minutes, hours, days and months of life. If this wisdom could be more widely spread, listened to and understood, it truly would help our whole world.

My journey with APPPAH started just over 2 years ago, when I was talking to a very dear friend and therapist of mine that I want to work more closely with babies and mothers. The reason being that if we are to better the world, we need to start from our beginnings, from how we come and are welcomed into this world.
That is when I found www.birthpsychology.com (APPPAH's website)
It was amazing because they offer the courses online so I could continue with my work and finish the PPNE (pre and Perinatal educator) program.
The knowledge, research, scientific evidence and data, the wisdom and generosity of the team and mentors was amazing.
During that time, not all was I learning and discovering this new field, but I also underwent a personal healing journey myself, unraveled my own beginnings and sabotaging patterns I was carrying, and so experienced first hand the power of the program.
And so I started working more closely with APPPAH and now am a board member, and just opened my center that integrates and combines evidence based research, Psychology and Pranic Healing to support and empower women and families in their journey to finding themselves and birthing their children to build a stronger, healthier and happier future generations..
I am so grateful to be part of this amazing organization and its sacred mission.
As Dr Thomas Verney (one of the Founders) says: Womb Ecology becomes World Ecology.

Please do support us in continuing with our Mission by volunteering, sharing, and donating.

I love being involved with the work of APPPAH. I have been a member for many years. Then I became an associate editor of the Journal, and Founding Director of Education. The reason why I love this work so much is that it improves the lives of mothers and babies, and therefore all of humanity. We offer an education at APPPAH about the Baby's experience, a missing part of the health puzzle. The work is a spiritual calling. If you feel led to made a difference in the world, become an educator about this holistic view of human beings, and the deep sentience and wisdom with which we come into form.

I have had the opportunity of volunteering with APPPAH since its beginning in 1983. The mission that we all cherish and support is to protect the mother-baby bond by focusing attention on the "missing link" in childbirth and parenting...that of the conscious, sentient unborn and newborn baby. Science is now proving, almost daily, what scholars and mentors in APPPAH have been saying and teaching for over 35+ years. Join APPPAH and read many wonderful articles about prenatal and perinatal psychology and health in our peer-reviewed professional journal JOPPPAH. This is a very wonderful and important non-profit organization, worthy of your support.

As I began my career as a Craniosacral Therapist, I also trained as childbirth doula. I had been at a CST training and the instructor told us about this organization. Fast forward several years and APPPAH rolled out a course to help those interested in birth to train to become a Pre and Peri Natal Educator. I was among those who signed up for the first group when it became available. I learned so much, and have used this information in my CST practice, not just with pregnant and postpartum moms and babies, but with clients whose gestation and birth trauma left traces in the tissues of their bodies.
This wonderful non profit organization not only changed my life, but the lives of so many people who have found me.
So many believe that babies don't experience physical or emotional moments in utero, during birth and in the early years. Nothing is further from the truth.
The many professionals who participate in this most loving mission have opened the eyes of many, and there are many more who will benefit from understanding what sentient beings our babies are!

I was attracted to this work because, after being involved with many projects to try to make a difference in life, I realized that the answer to most of our societies problems come from the beginning of life.
The mother is the first relationship a human will have with this world. Mother-Baby security and protection leads to secure attachments, attunement and loving bonds and the development of empathy. This is then turned out to the world.
APPPAH's mission has been fo rover 30 years to raise consciousness about hi important time of human development.

In the words of Suzanne Arms "“If we hope to create a non-violent world where respect and kindess replace fear and hatred, we must begin with how we treat each other at the beginning of life for that is where our deepest patterns are set. From these roots grow fear and alienation ~or love and trust.”

Any person who loves the Earth, or animals and wants peace on Earth needs to support our Mission. This is where we create the paradigm shift enabling more people to have brains geared towards love and trust.

As a member of APPPAH since 1987, I may be a bit biased, but this association has kept a dream and mission alive since its formation as PPPANA in 1983. It is solidly based on volunteers who contribute many hours to the association as board members and member/supporters. It's mission clearly states the purpose of the association and the importance of this mission for all of humanity.

"APPPAH educates professionals and the public, worldwide, that a baby’s experience of conception, pregnancy, and birth creates lifelong consequences for individuals, families, and society. As a result of scientific discoveries and continually emerging evidence, we know babies are conscious and sentient beings."

My involvement with the Association for Pre- and Perinatal Psychology and Health has transformed my life. This is true in two ways: First, APPPAH is all about educating and supporting humanity in understanding what it takes to support babies and families in optimal human development. And, I was born with a disability. So, APPPAH has been foundational to me engaging the information I have needed to transform my sense of empowerment in dealing with my own challenges.
Second, in this ever-changing and challenged economic and social environment we live in today, my involvement with APPPAH has maintained and strengthened my conviction of knowing that we, as a people and as a race, can solve the most foundational challenges in our lives today. Not only do I know it can be done, but I know the steps I can take that contribute to doing it. These steps include advancing awareness that babies are conscious from the time of conception, and that the building blocks for raising happy and fulfilled people up on this planet starts in the womb. Pregnant women and families must become a priority in order to substantially change the climate of relationships on earth, and APPPAH cultivates the skills and abilities for individuals and entire communities to do that.
