The Exodus Road is the real thing. I've seen firsthand first as a supporter, then as a board member, and now as a staff member that this nonprofit has a strong commitment to doing the real, gritty work of investigation and intervention in partnership with law enforcement. They commit long term to supporting survivors of human trafficking on the challenging road to healing, and they are passionate about preventing exploitation before it ever begins through tailored community awareness and education programming. The Exodus Road is committed to transparent reporting and never inflates nor exaggerates their impact or efforts. Truly an honor to work alongside this committed and efficacious organization!
I love the way this organization is transparent about the impact they are making with the resources they have. Their storytelling is professional and nuanced. I always learn more about the complex nature of human trafficking even by just reading their donor communications.
The Exodus Road just does it right. From their intervention services to the aftercare of survivors, they stay survivor-centered and local authority partnered in their approach. They have shown a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies, new modalities, and innovative ways of thinking to bring solutions to the atrocity that is human trafficking.
I've supported various nonprofits in the anti-trafficking field and The Exodus Road definitely stands out as leaders in this work. Their commitment to excellence, integrity, and a survivor-centered approach is changing individual lives and dismantling injustice. It is an honor to be a part of their work and support their work around the world!
Working with The Exodus Road has been an incredibly fulfilling experience. The organization's mission to combat human trafficking is both inspiring and impactful, and it’s rewarding to know that the work I do directly helps change lives.
The team is supportive, passionate, and dedicated, creating a positive work environment where collaboration thrives. Leadership is transparent and genuinely cares about employees’ well-being, providing great opportunities for professional growth.
I’m proud to be part of such a meaningful cause and would highly recommend The Exodus Road to anyone looking to make a real difference in the world.
I volunteer and work for The Exodus Road, and it has been the most rewarding work I've ever done. It is amazing to be able to have a direct impact on human trafficking through intervention, training and education, and trauma-informed after care. In addition, the people at The Exodus Road US office are nothing like I've ever worked with before. No office politics, everyone cares about each other, the leadership is there for the mission, and it's just great!
With over 20 years nonprofit experience I can honestly say that The Exodus Road is an amazing place to work, is actually doing exactly what it says, and has an ability to pivot like no other organization I have seen. I am incredibly proud to be a part of the organization.
The work that the Exodus Road does is nothing but incredible, needed, and helpful. I have had the pleasure of meeting with some of the staff to understand their mission and heart behind their work, and I get the pleasure of getting updates about the global impact they are making. I don't only know I am supporting something local, kind, and liberating, I get to see it come to life and read the stories of liberation. Thank you Exodus Road!
I've been following The Exodus Road for a while and truly appreciate their posture in the work of fighting human trafficking. They are compassionate and honoring to all those they work with, especially survivors. I'm so happy to continue to follow them.
Our family has supported the work of The Exodus Road for several years now. They not only have made great strides in eliminating human trafficking but also go the extra mile in things such as their training for law enforcement agencies and the Influence seminars for parents and teens. I applaud their work to end the exploitation of all who are being trafficked and the injustices of our world.
We are confident that the Exodus Road is using our financial giving to make change in the world and are honored to see the immense impact they are making in their community and around the world. They also do a fantastic job keeping us as donors in the loop with the ways our financial giving is being used.
Sometimes in life you feel like the problems that humanity faces are too heavy to confront. You feel as though evil and malice seem to be too overwhelming to overcome, and the thought of trying to make a difference seems impossible.
The Exodus Road gave my family and I an avenue to bring about positive change in the world. Through different survivor stories that the Exodus Road shares, we are able to see (and feel apart of) the tangible help this organization is bringing the world. We are proud to support such a wonderful organization.
We have been giving monthly to the Exodus Road for a few years now. It is an organization that is making a huge impact towards the freedom of those who have been trafficked. I never worry about where our funds are going as the Exodus Road does a great job of updating donors where the money is spent and how those rescued are being helped.
The Exodus Road is an incredible organization doing the raw and real work of helping people find freedom. They have an amazing staff of people who care about each individual life they are impacting. I am thankful for the work they are doing and happy to be apart of it, even in a small way.
The Exodus Road is an amazing organization fighting one of the world's biggest fights. Their resources and processes are top-notch to help those in dire need. Wonderful organization for an excellent cause!
The Exodus Road is an exceptional nonprofit organization that fights human trafficking head on. The way they combat human trafficking is so powerful. Their method of fighting human trafficking is highly effective and is making a difference in many lives. This is a truly amazing organization with an amazing vision!
I am a donor and have followed the Exodus Road for years now. They are doing hard work and continue to show up to persue justice in an area where so many people have been wronged. They are constantly staffed with wonderful people and they have integrity in all that they do. We need more organizations out there like them!
I have been a donor for over 1 year. I am impressed with The Exodus Road's work and they do a great job of communicating the impact my donations have had over the year. The stories of impact are hope-filled and educational. I am confident that my donations are making a huge impact in the fight against human trafficking.
Great experience! This organization works so hard to help the vulnerable and spread the love of Jesus to all.
The Exodus Road is doing amazing work to help reduce and hopefully someday eliminate the horrors of human trafficking. They are a small, but powerful team doing amazing things throughout the world. My interactions with the support team have all been very positive and uplifting! The mission is much, much needed in our world today! I can't recommend them enough as a great partner to get behind and support!
What an incredible nonprofit working to systemically address the issue of human trafficking with integrity, grit, hope, and expertise. I have had the absolute honor of knowing many of those at The Exodus Road in leadership, on the field teams, on the fundraising side of things, marketing, and everything in between. These are truly the best people from the inside out. Their deep experience with many different cases in many different parts of the world over the course of more than a decade, along with the methodologies, protocols, and partnerships they have developed for combatting this crime, make them an indisputably top-tier global authority on sex trafficking. There is no one better to support.
I’ve known the founders of The Exodus Road since before they ever started it and have followed the amazing stories and good work they do from the very beginning. It takes grit and dedication to do this hard, but incredibly important work, and the way they go about it is so unique! Always staying sensitive to the survivor, giving credit to local police to work on systemic change, and shedding light onto the dark sides of humanity and our world… it’s inspiring and I’m honored to support this organization!
There are lots of charities, but The Exodus Road stands out. Their commitment to measuring impact and financial accountability gives me assurance. I've attached an example of the detailed data that they gather and share with their supporters. They are making a difference in an overwhelmingly dark part of humanity.
I've been a donor and supporter of The Exodus Road for 9 years now, and an employee for 2. I have been consistently impressed by their integrity, transparency, and dedication to the mission of freedom for the most vulnerable. Their intense valuing of people is realized at every level of the organization, from the way they care for their staff, their collaboration with other NGOs, and their constant desire to learn how to better serve survivors. The Exodus Road is deeply trustworthy, choosing commitment to their purpose even in places where the issue of human trafficking is intensely nuanced and difficult. It has been a profound privilege to support their work and witness firsthand how it's changing the world.
The Exodus Road continues to innovate from year to year, and 2023 has been the year of its most impact yet (statistically!). I've been supporting the organization financially since 2017, and am continuously encouraged by the way that their teams are committed to ethical work in the fight against human trafficking.
The Exodus Road is an organization that is leading the way in holistic and strategic work in the fight against human trafficking! I've been a supporter of The Exodus Road for several years and have watched their teams continue to innovate and push freedom forward. I'm proud to be a member of their Search + Rescue donor community and will continue to share their great work with friends and family.
I've been supporting The Exodus Road since very near their beginning in 2012. I've been consistently blown away by their integrity, their passion, their transparency, and their laser-focus on freedom! The Exodus Road is an organization that has stayed unwaveringly committed to their mission, continually adapting and learning new methods to serve that immovable purpose. I'm so grateful for the way that their belief in the dignity of every human life applies both to the survivors that they serve, and to every staff member and volunteer who lends their voice to the cause. The Exodus Road sets a gold standard for how NGOs should operate in this world.
The Exodus Road had been one of very few organizations to step up for the advocacy and direct rescue of victims of human trafficking around the world. Not only that, but they have remained committed to their mission from the beginning and continue to grow and move forward based on their deeply embedded commitment to the search and rescue of everyone, especially minors, trapped in the cycle of human trafficking around the world! Feel confident that any support provided to The Exodus Road goes fully towards their operations and mission!
I have been both an active donor and volunteer for The Exodus Road over the years. I remain faithful to this organization in particular because of their transparency in their funding. I appreciate knowing exactly HOW my giving helps with actual rescues and other pressing needs within the organization. The Exodus Road is very authentic and intentional in both their actions and their words. I will continue to support this amazing non profit that continues to make such an impact in the fight against human trafficking!
Over the course of my life and career, I've encountered many who become very good at talking about a problem, but who often fail to act.
It is at The Exodus Road that I've found people that are focused on action and for whom talking is used primarily to communicate that which we are already doing. It's an exhilarating and refreshing change to how much of the rest of the world operates. If you want to experience what it feels like to be a part of a mission with real results, this is the group to join up with.
The Exodus Road is an incredible organization. I worked with them in the very beginning and now get to be here again. Seeing it grow, expand and become so successful in rescuing people around the world, has been amazing. The way they combat human trafficking is so powerful. They continue to put offenders in jail to take out the brothel and chain as a whole. I fully believe in the work and the amazing things that The Exodus Road is doing!
I've been working as a volunteer for The Exodus Road for over 2 years and what drove me to continue supporting the organization was the mission and more importantly the passion of the people. The passion is contagious, so contagious that I am now working at The Exodus Road full time.
For 20 years now, I have traveled the globe as a journalist turned human rights activist. I have collaborated with non-profits, NGOs, faith-based groups, law enforcement, media and others with the aim of bringing rescue to victims of human trafficking and justice to their perpetrators. This work is the great call on my heart. So, I am proud - and grateful - to have joined The Exodus Road as Chief of Staff in June 2018. Through strategic partnerships with local law enforcement, technological innovation and a deep commitment to excellence, we have rescued more than 1,000 victims of human trafficking - and arrested more than 500 perpetrators. And we feel like we're just getting started. "justice is in the hands of the ordinary."
It is so incredible to be able to support The Exodus Road’s mission to stop human trafficking. I love to help support rescues in any way I can, because I know how valuable each individual piece of this process is, and The Exodus Road is definitely the best at allowing me to be a part of it.
Human trafficking is gaining increasing awareness, but such a huge global issue can feel overwhelming to the point of paralysis. In steps The Exodus Road.
TER is an organization that deeply, genuinely cares and is doing everything in their power to create change. It is a wonderful thing to care, but an even greater thing to accomplish rescue. They have managed to save nearly a thousand victims thus far and put them on a path of healing. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for the organization and am excited to continue to partner in any way possible on this mission.
The Exodus Road is the most INCREDIBLE organization I have had the pleasure of following and working with. They are all passionate people working their very hardest to bring freedom to captives. Their rescue work goes above and beyond the call to action. They bring awareness and call the public to see where there is brokenness with stories of rescue that speak deeply to the issue of human trafficking. TER is an organization that refuses to turn their back on those that cry out for help.
Exodus Road is a group of ordinary people fighting for freedom of modern day slaves. They are able to see those in need of rescue because they are in the community. I am fascinated by their ability to get other ordinary people involved and then physically rescue hostages. They are the actual hands and feet of hope. I am grateful for their special work in our world.
I have had the pleasure of following Exodus Road’s work for some time now. I appreciate the hard work they do and the time they take to report on their efforts to help free people who have been trafficked into slavery. There is never any question how they use their donations.
Exodus Road is a top notch nonprofit raising awareness, running towards the darkness around the world to rescue those imprisoned in human trafficking. I appreciate the fact they go out of their way to keep donors and those interested in their work informed. By using social media like facebook and Instagram I know fairly quickly when rescue has happened. I also receive text messages. Empowering rescue is what they do best!

I have been following the work of Exodus Road for a long time and recently became a donor because of the outstanding work they do empowering rescue and running into the darkness rather than away from it. As a donor I feel a very personal connection because of their excellent use of social media through Facebook, Instagram and text messages. My prayer is modern day slavery will be wiped off the face of the earth because of Exodus Road and others who are waging war in this battle against women and children who think they are not seen, but because of Exodus Road, rescue is coming.
The Exodus Road has brought to light the the ugly that is modern slavery and is helping free victims of trafficking. Nowhere I’d rather have my dollar go to help.
The Exodus Road is a wonderful organization. I had the opportunity to be an intern for the past year and it was a truly enriching experience. Everyone involved in this organization has such strong determination to save men, women, and children from sex trafficking. I am honored to have been able to see the inner-workings of The Exodus Road and the results of their rescues first-hand.
I had been a supporter for several years of The Exodus Road and had adored their work and how they connect with their donor base. It was my privilege also to work with them doing administrative work for a season! To be up and close to the founders and see how they think and act and serve on a daily basis blew me away and only heightened my belief in The Exodus Road and what they do. This is an intentional, upright nonprofit that is run by people who are passionate, informed, and strategic in their fight against human trafficking. I sing their praises often and I love being a part of The Exodus Road!
I love the work that Exodus Road is doing throughout the world to end sex trafficking! They are so good at sharing what they do with their donors! Integrity and excellence are obvious in this ministry.
I love their mission and message, and love how the repory success and failures in the field. By donating and engaging I feel like in my own small way, I'm part of the fight. There are real people behind the email addresses and Insta posts and I'm so happy to have contributed to their work.
This group is amazing! Love the mission of bringing awareness to modern day slavery and the hard work of helping to set captives free. They keep it 100
An amazing organization with an amazing vision! Fighting modern day slavery and sex trade is one of the most important issues plaguing our world. Exodus Road is taking it head on and making a difference!
They do exceptional work and I'm assured my funds are going to AMAZING work extending the compassion I hold in my heart, but can't quite act on yet because I'm a teen.
Exodus Road is my favorite organization to support. They provide constant updates on their work and make donors feel like part of the team. Their method of fighting human trafficking is highly effective and brings dignity to those rescued and the local law enforcement they partner with.
Exodus Road brings light into the dark places and collaborates with national organizations and officials to ensure the best outcomes. They regularly communicate their progress, both hardships and success, with their donors through various social media and newsletters. Their communication keeps supporters engaged throughout the process.
There's isn't a more inspiring group of men and women--they go into those dark places and rescue children who have been trafficked for sex. They always work with police to arrest the perpetrators. I receive text updates on successful raids, such as "5 rescued in India, two minors!" I know my donations are impactful.
As a co-founder of the organization, I suppose I am a bit biased. :) Having said that, I love The Exodus Road. I love our people and our mission. We are attacking a complex problem with strategy, innovation, technology and excellence.
I am in charge of the communications for the organization, and so I get to see firsthand the work on the ground and it continues to be one of the greatest inspirations and honors of my entire life.
Simply put- The Exodus Road is amazing. Using strategic efforts to find and free slaves is remarkable. I have been so inspired by the people and the work being done through this organization, so much so that I spread the word whenever possible. I am so thankful to be involved with this organization, to see first hand the results of the power of ordinary people who put their heads and hearts together for a greater cause- the cause of finding and freeing slaves!
My wife and I love this NGO! We are not just supporters but volunteers as well.
We are proud to be a part of a group that helps in finding and freeing victims of Human Trafficking!
The Exodus Road is an amazing nonprofit fighting human trafficking head on. Their investigative work is impressive, and I love the heart behind the tag line, "Justice is in The Hands of The Ordinary." I have had the privilege to be a donor and supporter, enjoying the success from the outside looking in, and now I have the privilege of working on the team and cheering on rescue from the inside out. This video is a powerful answer to the question, "why do we do what we do?"
Exodus Road is doing the heavy lifting in working to free souls from slavery. They are not the only group doing so but because of first hand experience I can tell you that are one of the best if not the best at doing this. I have and will continue to give my time talent and treasure to the Exodus Road.
There is no worse feeling than hopelessness. The Exodus Road gives hope, not for the prevention or after care (many other organizations do that and of which they partner) but for rescue of those who's spirit and bodies are crushed and imprisoned in slavery. There are very few organizations involved with working and creating working relationships with local and foreign governments and authorities for the investigation and conviction of those who enslave others and for the physical rescue of those poor souls who are enslaved. Their monies are spent for the training and equipping of volunteers who do the investigations and identifying of enslaved victims (the majority of the victims are children who have had their innocence and lives stolen from them). Imagine yourself kidnapped or sold into slavery being sexually and physically abused multiple times everyday and thinking no one is coming to help or that no one cares about you. What hopelessness you would feel. The Exodus Road with their hundreds of volunteers and donors care and they are coming for your rescue.
The most impressive thing about the people at Exodus Road is the combination of their passion for combating human trafficking and slavery, their willingness to sacrifice their own careers and comfort to take on the cause of tens of millions of people all around the world and their desire to empower local authorities and leaders to carry on the task when the Exodus Road operatives go home.
Read the little book by Laura Parker and watch a video of someone describing the hell in which even little girls and boys find themselves. Your heart will be tugged I warn you.
I am too old to be an undercover operative but would if I could. Some of my family has had the experience. I have added Exodus Road to my list of significant places for giving as much as I can. If ever there was a cause worthy of your support, Exodus Road is it.
